The kayaks were clean and in great condition, and the staff was very helpful in getting us set up and answering our questions. If you're looking for a fun activity with friends and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Los Olas Paddleboard and Kayak. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

I learned a lot and enjoyed seeing Matt's knowledge at work which allowed me to catch a lot of fish. Only problem was the Bonitos. I caught a lot. Matt says he never heard anyone complain about catching fish. Hahahaha. Trust me, it wasn't a complaint but those suckers are relentless. They were everywhere. Now, I wasn't familiar with them at all. At first glance, I thought they were tuna. They look a lot like tuna with some visual differences. They are not edible for most but great for bait. Matt was determined to send me home with some good quality fish. I ended up catching a black fin tuna and a yellow tail. Both were on the table for dinner and super fresh and the best quality. I've fished most of my life but this type of fishing was beyond my prior knowledge so I'm thankful to Matt for showing me the ropes and holding off my sea sickness. I have a few pics to share from the day and how it ended with those delicious fish. I highly recommend Matt for your next fishing excursion.

For a little bit of an update along with further details, Taha remains my favorite place to stop by…read morewith my boat, fuel up and often times when I'm too lazy to do it myself, have my day's catch of fish cleaned. I really can't say enough good about it. I've been doing business here for years and everyone has always been the most polite and most helpful, especially when catching your docking lines, of any such place I've found along the Intracoastal. As the front dockage is about 150 feet long, there is plenty of room and since the docks are rather low to the water, climbing off of smaller boats having less freeboard requires little effort. They also have transient slips, bait sales, some fishing equipment and are within easy distance of interesting sights, shops and restaurants. There are three other great things about it. First off their diesel fuel has not only proved to be fresh and water free but contains a "ValvTect" treated fuel with biocides so you don't have fool around with mixing or measuring other additives or biocides into your tank. Another thing is that, if you ask for it, they have a "Preferred Customer" tag which they'll issue free of charge so you can get a good discount on your fuel purchase. They take both cash and credit, but if you can, use cash as you'll get a bigger, better discount than with credit. When taking on any amount of fuel it can really add up, especially for those taking over a hundred gallons of diesel, which many do. Also, the fact that they remain open until 8:00pm makes it a convenient stop to fuel up after a long day or to get your catch cleaned. For navigational purposes, the location of Taha Marine Center is: Latitude:26° 13.94' N Longitude:80° 5.59' W ICW:1056.000 They also monitor VHF Channel 16, using Channel 69 for working.
