A year ago I was state side, doing camping trips, old people out door concerts and things I didn't love to do. I was going with the flow, enjoying company and the things he loved doing. Women tend to do that. Today I'm on this beautiful beach, with family and a wonderful human who came into my life because I trusted my gut, have self respect and worth. In trusting the signs and my gut feeling, I left a 2 year relationship thinking I had wasted time on another "cheater". Talking to other women while you're in a relationship is a HUGE no in my book. Especially when they tell you it's nothing to be worried or upset about because they are just friends; but as soon as you leave they get with the person who is younger than you, who they said they weren't attracted to and wasn't their type. Marriage is always the goal for me in any relationship. I'm a lover girl. His stance was our 15 year age gap was a factor. Talk about never wanting to date an old man again! Ladies, old men lie too. So do not settle or think cause they're old that they are more mature or better. They are actually worse! (In my experience.) In fact, I truly believed I wasted time up until this trip. However, I didn't waste time. The Universe was preparing my life and time aligned perfectly. I met the most beautiful human who takes loyalty, kindness, and faithfulness seriously. He is so against "friends" and any woman who makes me feel uncomfortable. Lesson: Gods plan is better than you think. Continue to love without hurt so the one who comes can honor the beauty that is you. I've been traveling this year since I met my man and he stops at nothing to give me the best life. And it's places I want to go and things I want to do. He's younger so we do fun things and life isn't repetitive. So as I look at this beach, I am sitting here in awe. Grateful for him, his generosity and for letting me pick all the places I want to visit. A good man is a man who protects your peace and your feelings. Thankful for unanswered prayers. HIGHLIGHTS: This is the beach you want to spend time on. The sand is perfection. It's less crowded and just a vibe! This beach has a stand for Jet Skis. Our blended family wanted to Jet Ski and this place has them for persons 18 and older. It's located in the same area as Marriott Isla Verde resort, where they have their lounge chairs for guests. The beach is public so anyone can come, however since this Marriott is near the end of the street, it is less crowded than our beach area. And nothing to the left, just a few families that are locals. We've come everyday because the Jet Skis are the fave for the fam. Definitely recommend this beach if you're staying at these resorts. They are not the most luxurious hotels but not bad by any means. If you're a local or using an AirBNB this may not be the best option as there are no showers, etc in the area. Definitely for hotel guest mainly, as non public as you can get.

There are food and drink vendors, making it convenient to spend the whole day here. The atmosphere was lively, with a mix of locals and tourists enjoying the shoreline. My only negative experience was with parking. A park attendant directed us to a specific area to park, and we later returned to find a parking ticket on our vehicle. After speaking with a city employee, we heard this happens quite often. Whether it was a misunderstanding or not, it definitely put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable visit. Aside from that, the beach itself was clean, welcoming, and a great place to spend a day by the ocean.

It was perfect for just getting in, floating around, & enjoying the day w/o worrying about big waves. The soft golden sand made it easy to kick back, relax, & soak in the sun. B/c the sand is a rich golden beige color rather than a stark white, it absorbs heat quickly under the tropical sun. Walking down to the shoreline from the palm trees during midday can easily burn bare feet, so bring flip-flops or water shoes! 1 of my fave things was all the colorful artwork around the area. I found myself stopping over & over b/c there were so many fun murals & unique spots to take pictures. If you're anything like me & love a good photo op, you'll have a blast here! There's beach vendors regularly walking by selling helados (pr ice cream), snacks, drinks so you never had to leave your spot if you wanted something refreshing. Some of the vendors also sell homemade jewelry for a low price. I walked over to the famous kiosks right along the beach.There are tons of food options, whether you're craving authentic PR dishes, fresh seafood, fried snacks, tropical drinks, frozen coconuts,or something sweet. I loved being able to grab something to eat & drink & head right back to the beach. I spent the whole day @ Luquillo Beach. Between the beautiful water, relaxing atmosphere,& all the vibrant art, it was a place I know I'll visit again the next time I'm in PR!

From that point on, it doesn't cost you anything unless you choose to spend money. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the beach. We had gotten there early, and decided to rent an umbrella and a pair of lounge chairs, which cost us $35 for the day. Considering we ended up spending nearly 7 hours on the beach, it was definitely worth the purchase price. The beach is gorgeous, and the water is rock free. It did get quite busy, but we actually enjoyed the people watching. There are vendors that walk up and down the beach, selling ice, creams and drinks, but there are also little Kioskos on the property that you can walk to easily to order hot food. At the one we visited, we got delicious slushy's, Pinchos, and empanadillas that were all delicious. We had a great time, and would absolutely go back in a heartbeat! When you leave the gated parking lot, you are literally around the corner from the Luquillo kioskos if you want to hit them up for shopping or dinner after your beach day. Seven Seas Beach was one of those for me. Coming from the mainland, it almost felt unfair how naturally beautiful this place was--clear water, palm trees, soft sand, and mountain scenery all blending together into one peaceful view. AMBIANCE Parking: There's a parking lot but there's parking on the road. I'd probably prefer parking on the road if you're going to leave as the beach closes (the line can get long) Seating: Plenty! Whether it's in the main beach or the hidden beach you got a lot of choices. Vibes: The area is a more calmer side of Puerto Rico. Fishing-town environment with local bars, seafood spots, and opportunities for bio tours. The main beach is really nice with with turquoise water, green palms, and views toward the surrounding landscape. There are a few kiosks setup if you do want to grab some food. If you're up for an adventure, coming from the main entrance, you go through a forest (enjoy the sights and sounds, like the coquis) for a good 30 minutes you can enjoy "playa escondido" a beautiful secluded beach with the common calm, shallow, and crystal clear waters but less human traffic and a better view of sunset. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. B-E-A-utiful! I'm glad to have stumbled across this spot. My only wish was that I was there longer to enjoy and take it all in. Beautiful scenery, calm waters, relaxing atmosphere, and enough nearby activity without ruining the natural vibe.
