The road is right up on the beach so the shore is not very deep. There is parallel street parking along the road and a large lot at the east end of the beach. Since we were there for Christmas, there were a couple of trees that were decorated that made for a great photo op background. There are people walking up and down the sidewalk along the beach so it was easy to find someone to take our picture. There is also a nice grass area lining the street so people were picnicing, etc.

I had a breakthrough in my surfing, everyone got up and stayed up, and the lesson gave everyone enough time in the water that they were too exhausted to take him up on his offer of taking the boards out on our own. We tried calling and messaging every number we were given. No one answered. We were forced to hitchhike with a stranger to continue the trip. The guide later admitted the mistake and promised management would contact us with a 50% refund, but that never happened. No call. No email. Nothing. This level of negligence is unacceptable, especially on an island excursion. Mistakes happen -- ignoring them afterward is worse.
