You can sit in a stool to eat but it's probably better to take it to go because the blenders are pretty noisy when running. Great view of the valley though! My only complaint is they use the same bowl for medium or large sizing. I'd recommend the medium so you get more topping to fit Overall, HIGHLY recommend!!

Those behind the counter are friendly and accommodating and make a mean bowl. They have several bases to choose from and the protein added option is great. I love a customizable açaí bowl and peanut butter is a must. All of the toppings are fresh and flavorful. My only complaint is the almonds are sliced instead of roasted and chopped. Huge difference in flavor and texture. I know it's a chain and they probably don't have any control, but someone has to say it. I know I'll be back again for another delicious frozen fruity treat.

The Food was Prepared, Presented and Served with Excellent Care and Professional Quality and Care. I had the Breakfast Burrito ($9.00) and is was quite large, very well prepared and presented, and was very filling. Good quality and quantity for the price. Malu Ixel is definitely worth the time, travel, price and consideration. Again a Local Business Coffee Shop that deserves the business and support. The two women who own it and run it were so nice, friendly and very attentive. The inside is super cute! There is plenty of seating, and a clean bathroom. There is water and cups available in a water dispenser. They also have some beautiful, intricately beaded jewelry on display for sell. The menu is inspired with items from Guatemala and Mexico. And they add new items regularly. We tried the strawberry crepe (so many fresh strawberries, mouth-wateringly delicious), the breakfast burrito with a side of yummy green sauce and chips), the carinito latte (cinnamon, caramel and vanilla. So much cinnamon... it was truly heavenly), a matcha, and a peanut butter cocoa. They brought it to out table and cleaned it up. (Not an actual sit down and server style.) They used fancy looking silverware and everything had a lovely presentation that made me feel special. We will definitely come back!! We want to try everything!!! Looking forward to the Chilaquiles, Pacheco, quesadilla, and various unique coffees. Come give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!! (The area may be a little off to the side and out if the way. But you must give it a try!) I really want them to do well, and I hope they are successful.

The guy working here was pretty friendly, but my experience overall was just not impressive…read more The primary reason I give two stars is my family and I were ordered (and were the only customers in the store). As we were finishing our order, another customer came in and she clearly knew the guy working. As we were waiting for our two açaí bowls to be made. Her drink was prepared and served to her long before we ever got our bowls. This would maybe make sense if there had been two employees here making stuff and her drink was simply made faster than our, but there was only one guy working, so he prioritized her over us. Perhaps there is a justifying reason, but it's really just not a good look. The açaí bowls themselves were solid 6/10's. They weren't bad my any means, but I wish there was an option not to have them crammed with protein, because it causes the açaí to taste really chalky. The consistency was also not great. Both bowls seemed almost completely melted by the time we got them, so much so it ALMOST would have made more sense to eat them with straws. The location itself has a lot of empty space, and very little seating. While you won't be disappointed if you come, as the bowls were still a refreshing breakfast, I'd suggest you look elsewhere
