Nica Bowl...

This location consistently provides poor customer service. I'm never greeted when I walk in the staff just stare as if I'm inconveniencing them by walking in. When I come in to pick up my mobile orders, I usually have to say "excuse me" multiple times and still get ignored. I've waited over 10 minutes multiple times for someone to assist me, while staff stand around on their phones sometimes even wearing gloves, which they then continue to use to prepare our bowls. GROSS! As for the orders themselves, the quality is disappointing. Every time I order online, the drizzle is placed underneath the fruit instead of on top, which defeats the purpose...? This time, I found about five maybe 7 banana slices total in my entire bowl on one side. It was not busy and there was no rush. I had also customized the bowl by removing three items and adding two, yet I was still charged extra how does that make sense when I'm getting less?

This is a reliably great PlayaBowls. The place is big and has outdoor seating. Lots of seating, good for larger groups. There's usually a steady flow of people coming and going. The place is quiet there is free WiFi if you want it hangout. The employers are really nice local kids. They take and make your order quickly. I usually get a tide bowl with a booster base and other customizations. I also love that this location still offers Poke bowls because others locations nearby don't have them anymore.

I was very disappointed with yesterday's visit to PLaya. We were in the area car shopping when my teenaged daughter asked to pop in Playa. I love going to Playa, especially when it's warmer out, there's such a summer feel to the place. My wife and daughter ordered bowls, I ordered a chocolate, peanut butter and banana shake. The banana they used in my shake was green, they didn't blend it longer than 5 secs to blend the pb in, the whole bottom of my cup was full of unblended peanut butter. So to sum it up, my wife and daughter enjoyed their bowls, I usually enjoy my food. The taste of my shake was ruined by a green banana and unblended pb.

Nutella Acai Bowl

haven't had one in a long time but it was really good and refreshing, i'd recommend the nutella açaí bowl

Where is the Nutella in this? This is simply a nutelloco bowl. NOTHING, none. and when I asked the girl behind the counter, she says they will not put it on top since it's A To Go order, otherwise she's gonna have to charge me extra to put it on top. won't be coming back to this location. All other locations are so much better than this one.

This is such a cute Playa bowl location. An amazing indoor and outdoor place to sit. I was waited on by Shelby and she was so nice and friendly. She made a great juice selection and I loved it. Will be coming back to this location.

The customer service needs to improve. Bedside manner needs to be worked on. I'm an adult and don't like to be talked down to.

Got food poisoning from the poke bowl I had here, it was unfortunate because other than that I had a good experience with the staff.

Beach Culture is unabashedly that - a little eatery that celebrates all things beachy! Having said this, I appreciate Beach Culture for what it is - a little stop for a small bite on the way to the beach. Believe it or not, there is usually a line outside this place on the weekends, and I can see why with a younger crowd especially. Young, beach-going vacationers will feel the pull of the waves as they stop in for a smoothie or an acai bowl. (If I was a kid, that's what I would do anyway!) I came here a few times last week - once to check it out and grab some food for myself, and once to bring my nieces because I felt like they would dig this place. I purchased a few of their toasts both times - for $4.50 each, the price is admittedly a liiiiiittle on the steep side for some bread with toppings, but Beach Culture needs to survive somehow, right? I do have to say, both toasts were very well balanced with fruit and toppings (one was banana / peanut butter / cacao and the other was strawberry / nutella / cacao ) - really nice for a light breakfast. I also grabbed a shaka coffee which was extremely tasty - and I can't wait to try their other specialty mixes. My nieces opted for a acai bowl and went absolutely bonkers for it, saying it was better then Playa Bowls (which is their all time favorite). There are a few things that prevent me from giving Beach Culture five stars, even if those things can't be helped. Seating is definitely limited - there are only two small tables outside - and the workers here can be a little on the slow side (although, they are all so lovely and friendly). But it's BEACH CULTURE, so if you're in a rush when going to this place, are you even at the beach? I also will admit their menu is a bit limited, but I take it for face value. If you want a quick / light snack, a coffee, or a smoothie, then this place will satisfy your needs. I adore this little eatery at the Jersey Shore, and will be coming here to get my caffeine fix!

The girls who work here are so helpful despite it being crazy busy all the time. I've ordered the regular Playa acai bowl and added in on extra PB, strawberry, chia seeds, and cocoa nibs. The acai power is also good and I subbed it with vanilla protein powder. It barely altered the taste of the bowl. My boyfriend loves the coconut power and it definitely holds its frozen consistency better than others I've had. My one comment would be that the poke concept within the shop does change up the smell of the place. It doesn't necessarily leave a bad smell, but I do think the two compete with each other. Would rather the smoothie bowl store smelling sweet instead of savory!

I just remembered Ive been here few times before but didnt go in due to this long line. Theres plenty of space to add another register... other similar sized locations have them... why make people wait this long ?

An associate--who appeared to be new, as I've visited this location many times before--approached me and handed me a bag. She said something while doing so, but it was unclear. Assuming the order was mine, I took the bag and left. As soon as I got into my car, I received a phone call from someone who I believe was the manager, stating only that I had taken the wrong food. I immediately returned to the store and handed the bag back. The manager explained that it belonged to the other customers who had been waiting. He then asked me if I had opened the bag, which I had not--I had only just reached my car when I received the call. The other customers looked through the bag and said they would still take the food. Throughout this interaction, the manager did not apologize or take accountability for the mistake made by his staff. I was left standing there feeling as though I had done something wrong, and the situation made me uncomfortable, especially with the way the other customers were looking at me. I understand that mistakes happen, and I'm not upset about the mix-up itself. What was disappointing was the manager's lack of professionalism, communication, and apology. A simple explanation or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.
