I've been to many other locations and trust me, it's NOT supposed to smell like this. The staff and customer service is very inconsistent. You either get a hello and wonderful service. Or you get a girl, hunched over on the counter, eating a playa bowl and on her phone, who annoyingly says "hi". I stopped going to this location. I've received old, slimy and rotten fruit (esp the strawberries; more than once). You put in request and they don't follow it. Other locations I can recommend would be Ridgewood, Westwood, and Bronxville (THEEEE BEST LOCATION). Trust me, try another location and you will never spend another penny at Nanuet playa bowl! I ordered a hot…read moreoatmeal bowl with strawberries, blueberries, sliced almonds, hemp seeds, cacao nibs and nutella. The oatmeal was plain but the toppings sweetened it up. Super filling and satiating. My friend ordered the Nutelloco coconut bowl with half pitaya, which was not an up charge! The bowl included banana, blueberry flax granola, strawberry, coconut flakes cacao nibs, Nutella and she added extra mango. Although she paid for extra mango, it did not make it on to her fruit bowl. We were offered a $3 credit to a playa bowl member account but we are not members. We do not have an account with playa bowl, we chose guest check out. They said they could not refund online orders and we would have to come back to the store for them to remake a new bowl. By that point we were already at work so that was not an option. We currently have no resolution to this issue. I placed an order ahead of time (literally at 3am from their website) and had no issues with the pickup or the order being ready on time. Pickup was smooth, seamless and pleasant. The atmosphere makes you feel like you walked into a store on the shore. Very beach inspired, colorful and fun. TIP- The website does not list if the oatmeal is hot or not but when placing an online order there is a "special note" section where you can request the oatmeal to be warm.

I ordered 2 wellness shots and my husband a latte. He was surprised at the cost of his latte in comparison to the big chain coffee places and their current pricing. While we waited about 3-4 more customers came in and the place seems to be very popular. Service was quick, the juice bar was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Thank you!

Squeeze the day!…read more Beets Juice Bar is a small local business with 3 locations in NJ: Park Ridge, Allendale, and Montvale. I was in the Montvale area and decided to stop in because ya girl was PARCHED and in need of a refreshing pick-me-up. The store is located inside The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, so there's plenty of parking available. The interior is bright, modern, and decorated with lush plants that create a relaxing atmosphere. There's five tables, along with counter seating where you can watch the kitchen in action as they prep and blend each drink fresh to order. The menu is packed with options--it almost feels a little overwhelming! They've got everything from fresh juices and smoothies to protein shakes, wellness shots, and coffee, all made with a solid variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods. Looking for something more filling? There are acai bowls you can fully customize with different bases and toppings. There's also grab-and-go items like overnight oats, wraps, protein bites, and veggies with hummus. Most of the menu is organic, gluten free, and vegan. It's technically healthy and an easy way to get in some extra antioxidants and nutrients. But it's also worth keeping in mind that some of the drinks and bowls can sneak up on you with high sugar levels and calories. After going back and forth between a few options, I decided to order the Inflammation Fix Juice [~$10], made with cucumber, kale, apple, lemon, turmeric, and ginger. There's a 2.6% discount for cash payments. Service was quick, and my drink was prepared within a few minutes. Was it worth the $10? No. It wasn't like any juice bar drink I've had before...not in the good way. It came out almost lukewarm instead of cold. The texture was a bit frothy. It tasted a little too sweet. The apple and cucumber really took over the flavor profile and masked the rest of the ingredients. I could barely taste the ginger and turmeric, which was a disappointment because I LOVE that strong, spicy kick they give. I'm giving it 3 stars because it wouldn't be fair to write them off after trying just one drink. If I'm in the area again, I'd probably give them another try and maybe get a smoothie instead. And honestly, I'm not a big fan of spending money on juices and smoothies since I prefer eating fruits and veggies whole. But every now and then, it's just easier to pay for the convenience lol.

I worked at Titanic Coffee from March to early June, and I can honestly say it's a lovely and…read moresupportive family-owned business. The managers, who also own the deli next door, care deeply about both their staff and customers. It's a warm environment with a genuine community feel -- definitely the kind of place where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy your food or drink without feeling rushed. The staff is highly trained and super accommodating with any drink or food modifications you might want. Whether you're picky about your latte or have dietary needs, they'll make sure you get exactly what you want. One thing that always stood out to me was how spotless everything was -- the espresso machines are cleaned daily, blenders washed after every use, and food is always handled with gloves and hair tied up. Sanitation and quality are clearly top priorities. While I did experience some challenges as an employee, mainly due to a bit of a learning curve and limited training at the start, I can confidently say that as a customer, you'll receive excellent service and a consistently great experience. It's a small business run with heart, and that's something you can feel the moment you walk in.

Visit Date: May 15, 2021…read more I came upstate with my cousin and my father to visit my friend Jon and his girlfriend. Jon posted about his titanic coffee because they live in the area and I wanted to try it. My father treated all of us and gave about $60 to the coffee shop for the day. I forgot what drink I had but I liked it, they also had gluten free wrap options so I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap which was awesome I don't have wraps often because sometimes a gluten free option isn't around and a chicken Caesar salad wrap is one of my favorites. They did a good job. My son had some ice cream and enjoyed it, I think my dad enjoyed his food too so did my cousin. The gimick of this shop if you want to call it a gimick is that they have $6 reproduction prints of the article and newspaper of the Titanic sinking. That's why they call themselves Titanic coffee. If you're in the area I'd recommend coming here and I'd even recommend it if you're like me and just like to drive out of the way for stuff on day trips here and there to get some different scenery.
