I definitely enjoyed my bites. The interior of the restaurant is small with some seating either to dine in or sit while you wait for your order. The service was odd the server seemed new and didn't speak much English and I guess my limited Spanish was really bad because she didn't seem to understand it. I wanted to get some almond milk as I'm not from here and the area is limited on vegan options. The server gave us samples of the drinks and all of them were great my kid got the strawberry banana smoothie, paid for her own and said it was heavy on the banana but good. That bananas in her smoothie were ripe and sweet. But what we sampled was very banana forward, so if bananas are not your thing this may not be the place for you. My request was where things got weird... I just wanted a cup of almond milk to take back to where we were staying for coffee there. She wanted to charge $10 for 16oz of almond milk!?! I will uber my azz to Whole Foods or spend hours hitting up the little grocers to find a $5-6 1/2 gallon of almond milk. Yes my jaw dropped she said "too much?" To stunned to speak I nodded with a slight cringe as she already had it in a cup with a sealed lid. She called the owner or manager who told her to ring it up at $2 way more reasonable. I give her a $20, she then states she has no fives as I'm staring at a five next to the ones she's counting out... um ok I'm going to say it was a communication limitation.
