What a lovely little place that is in the downtown area but helps whisk you away to a beach like atmosphere. The menu is amazing, and I wanted to order 10 different smoothies and bowls, but stuck with just one. Pitaya/ red dragon fruit was the winner! So good! It was perfectly icy with the fruit frozen and puréed and not overly sweet, I loved it! I would have been happier if there were no chunks of fruit left in the bottom in large amounts that needed me to eat instead of drink, but it was still such a great blend of fruit, I enjoyed the flavor. Their outdoor and indoor seating was plentiful. Lots of space to sit and enjoy. I liked the decor, and I loved the menu. Not bad for a chain! I would be more than happy to stop here again for a bowl with pitaya or kale base or chia or banana! So many options! Amazing! Delicious!

We were looking for a great mid afternoon snack. Yelp led us to this little gem. I never had a pliable before and I'm so glad that today I chose to have one. It was a Chia seed pudding with strawberries and blueberries, coconut milk, and vanilla. Oh my goodness was this ever so scrumptious Also, we enjoyed a banana sliced with a frozen banana custard drizzled with honey so delicious when you're in the Bethlehem area, you must try this place

I've ordered here a few times, always through Grubhub and it's been good. Until now. I'm not sure why anyone thought these blueberries were ok, but they're going bad, and from the appearance it's not just from today. Other issue, the strawberries. While you cannot see it in the photo, they're fizzy in your mouth, hence they're fermenting. I don't know how long they'd have to be sitting there to start fermenting but there needs to be some serious quality control happening here. Scooped the fruit off the top, I suppose the rest is ok but I'm not sure what I paid for at this point. ** Edit to respond to business: The blueberries weren't touching the lid, therefore the lid did not squish them further, thee were slimy and bad. The strawberries did not ferment in the very short car drive over the bridge to North side near Main St. Yes, I was refunded, that doesn't excuse this lack of quality control. For the price of these bowls, I'd expect much fresher food.

Playa Bowls is simply amazing- and the Southside location is just perfect. Friendly staff and high quality. Their green power bowls are my favorite! Whether you get it to go or choose to sit inside, you won't regret it.

This açaí bowl tastes the closest to the one I had in Hawaii that I dream about having again one day. so yummy!! I was here for work but will definitely be back when I'm in town again. This location was so cute!!! Everything was clean and my order was ready when I got there.

Do yourself a favor, come here! This is the best addition to the LV in ages! With all the greasy spoon diners around it is such a nice change of pace to have a healthy option for breakfast or lunch. The options here are endless and perfect for anyone who is vegan or gluten free. I admit, it took me awhile to figure out what to get. But the sweet girls working the counter allowed me to try the bases so I could decide. So I tried them and then was even more torn! I couldn't decide between the chia seed pudding or acai base. Well guess what, they suggested I'd do half and half! So smart and so delicious. I ended up with the "Jetty" with chocolate peanut butter chia seed pudding and acai as my base. The two together was the perfect PBJ combination but way healthier. Then it was topped with blueberries, strawberries, gogi berries, gluten free granola and honey. It was sooooo damn good. Although I've had chia seed pudding before, this was way better than the attempts I've made at home. I wasn't sure what to expect with the acai base, it's actually served cold and kind of reminds of sorbet. It was healthy and heavenly. I am already planning my next visit.l before I leave town!

Last night I visited playa bowls again for a club fundraiser! Once again I was impressed by the half half bowl option. I ordered nutaya with half pitaya and half banana. I definitely would recommend this combination to anyone. Looking forward to my next visit

So I got back! Salmon Poke Bowl with extra Spicy Mayo and some Crab because it's the weekend. Man o man these guys know what they are doing. Fresh, well composed, crisp, and cold. Not a better "healthy" bowl of savory goodness out there.

Words can't describe the flavors of these incredible concoctions. How do you describe strawberry, oatmeal, honey, banana, açaí, almond, some kind of seed? The answer is surprising. And great. The bright and friendly atmosphere also makes it good for a fun pop in.

Did a take out order from here today! Originally it said it'd be ready in 20 minutes but was ready in less than 10! The staff was friendly upon arrival and the bowls were delicious! The poke bowls were bigger than I imagined and the sauce on them was just the right amount! The Nutella bowl was filled to the brim with a TON of fruit! Totally worth the price and the decor inside was beachy themed and laid back! Really cool spot to grab a healthy meal. Parking is a a little tricky, but other than that awesome place!

DO NOT get the poke bowls. Holy shit, what a disappointment for $14! I'm addicted to poke bowls, and I felt traumatized after being given this travesty. Four chunks of tuna are thrown in and half an avocado, which is a great portion. But Jesus Christ, can you at least construct the damn thing so I don't have to chop everything up. Why are you charging so much if you don't even cut the items up to an actual bite size. Small enough that you can have some tuna with every bite. Not so large that any bite you take consists of just one ingredient. I absolutely love the playa bowls y'all serve up. But pleaseeeee go back to the drawing board with the poke bowls and work on it.

Such a cute space!! You can make your own bowl, smoothie or go with something off the menu. My friend and I both got the Electric Mermaid Pitaya bowls. It was fresh, healthy, tasted good, and the honey put it over the top. The Almond Joy chia pudding bowl sounds delicious for a sweet tooth craving. It's a relaxing environment. You can just hang out and chill, definitely caters towards a college crowd. There's a ping pong table and some games like tic tac toe and connect 4. There's long community tables with lots of stool seating. Just be careful because the tables are on wheels and move easily. I was familiar with Acai bowls but didn't know what Pitaya (dragon fruit) was. I ended up googling it but saw later there's actually a chalkboard under the counter that describes different products. It's Bethlehem so it's street parking. It somewhat on the pricier side and the staff could be friendlier but I'd definitely go back.

This effectively cut the menu in half -Waters were never refilled or offered to be the entire two hours we were here -hot sandwiches were almost all served cold and the egg was overcooked on one of them -Chicken Caesar Wrap was tiny and so was the breakfast burrito. Like tiny tiny -Food and service took a very long time (two hours from sitting down to receiving check) and the place was nearly empty when we sat down and ordered -The wrong menu item was brought out for one of our friends who dined with us -an ordered side of hot sauce came nearly an hour after the initial food was brought out -the large and small drinks were volumetrically the same despite a difference in price -things kept getting burned in the kitchen and the ventilation didn't seem to be working so the whole dining area was smoky Overall it felt like the restaurant was way more focused on aesthetics and instagramability than quality of the actual food.
