Them they came in and sealed off the kitchen from my living space and sanded, primed and painted the rest. Rodney's attention to detail was very impressive. I knew when Rodney first came that this is the guy I want doing my project. You may find someone less expensive or more expensive, I promise you, you won't regret hiring CRU. So glad we found these folks! Our HOA needed a new retaining wall in our parking lot. Matthews' bid…read morewas substantially lower than the competition. Due to several factors: job size, inclement weather, delay in getting materials, and a minor landslide during a heavy rainstorm, the job took a couple of months. The landslide revealed a hidden spring in the side of the hill, which Matthew's addressed by adding another drain and increasing the amount of gravel behind the wall. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and to recommend them to others. Unfortunately, I found out too late that they also do general contracting and they could have sealed the parking lot, for which we already hired someone else.

Outstanding contractor…read more Charlie Crippen is the best contractor we've ever used! The work is top quality, was finished on time and within budget. He worked with my husband and me on every detail. Sometimes recommending, based on his experience, but never imposing his views and never trying to talk us into more expensive options. He and his superb crew built a 16' X 24' screened room with wood burning fireplace attached to our house. Each day before the crew left the area was cleaned and swept. His outstanding carpenters cut and fit huge cedar beams together using complex angles perfectly. All wires from the several overhead fixtures were hidden, and after several torrential rains the room has never leaked. Charlie attends to and anticipates every detail, nothing is overlooked, including matching a 12' wall with cedar boards so each piece matches the one next to it. We cannot recommend him highly enough; he and his entire crew are very professional and courteous. We are extremely happy with our new 3 season room. Should we ever need another contractor he would be the only one we'd call.
