Kind of wish when I was a kid they were around to be a birthday party option...talk about the extra cool gift that friend would get simply for offering such a fun, physically and mentally safe place to challenge oneself. Okay so I'm a thrill seeker at times and like to challenge myself, so whether with friends, dates, strangers or self I'm in for fun where I can get it. This location even has auto belay wall areas, so if you didn't think you or your friends were strong enough to keep you right, or you just wanted to challenge yourself as a solo adventurist, you could do so very safely. For those that want slightly more of a challenge and trust their gripping skills, definitely check out their bouldering walls, its totally worth it. From someone whom has climbed elsewhere i will say their wall designs/setups are definitely challenging, so learn to understand the # ratings so you don't get discouraged, just keep working the angles and you'll get it. If not their staff is super top notch and happily will help you along the way if needed. For a newer location I'm loving the openness and cleanliness, even more so here post re-opening in COVID 2020 year. Check in was quick and efficient, want to be even faster fill out your waiver ahead of time online you have to create an account and can add household members. If you're an experienced climber you can bring your own shoes and chalk and rent or buy there. Our guide was amazing, Mya. Mya gave us a great run down of expectations and was consistently encouraging, with helpful hints and strategies. 100% deserves a shout out and promotion. There are different levels of rock climbs with pulley systems. Now again I don't know much about the sport but, more than the pulley area there were differentiated areas with spring floors and no pulleys, a tilt wall with light up rocks (definitely for the advanced) and a gym area simply to work out. Near the entrance there was an old cubby area as well to store your stuff and snackies to purchase as well. Overall a great first time experience. They offer an all day pass as well if you want to pop out to peruse the mall or grab lunch and come back. Had it just been two of us I dont think I would have lasted the full hour and a half. It's been 24 hours since the visit and boy my forearms are definitely feeling it. There are also some sitting areas for people/parents watching.

The people were very friendly. It felt safe and welcoming. As a beginner, I felt the routes were challenging but also doable. I learned a lot watching others climb. Yesterday, was FREE CLIMBING DAY so I finally took the beginner class. MEG was amazing. She taught us how to belay and made it easy to understand. I'm a HS teacher and I vouch that it was easy to learn from her. I still remember how to tie a figure 8 by strangling the Alien! I'm very excited to go there again and get certified!

I love love this gym because I like to go alone and having the auto belays at this gym make it easy for me to enjoy rock climbing alone. They have multiple levels and for the auto belays and bouldering. They also have a little store for chalk and shoes and other needs but also rentals are inexpensive. I truly love this place and have bought many friends here they run special promotions on different days.

The routes get changed every semester or so for both bouldering and top rope climbing, and there are two auto-belays if you go there and don't have anyone to help belay you. (The people who go are also super nice--I've had people offer to belay me whenever I go alone!) They offer belay classes here as well--I think it's around $30, and once you're certified (they test you 3 times before letting you do your thing), you can come whenever you want! If you don't plan on getting belay-certified, you can still boulder whenever you want! :] For guests, it's just $5 for admission, which is about 1/4 the price of any day admission to the nearby climbing gyms. Harness rental is always free and shoe rental is $1 each time (free for your first time there though!)

Our was suppose to arrive at 1230 (party started at 12) and it didn't arrive until 130 because of the rain. The pizza is ordered from a pizza shop so it had to be delivered. They were super nice and apologetic about it. The play area is huge and something for everyone. Although it might be hard to track your kid. It also felt cleaner than other indoor playgrounds that we've been too. We would definitely be back!
