My daughter attended Play-N-Learn Preschool from Preschool to Kindergarten. She returned for Summer Camp every year after that. This years she is turning 19 and she just completed her Freshmen year at UC Berkeley. I credit P'N'L for being hands on with her academically, socially and emotionally. I believe that the most influential years are 0 - 5 and they did an amazing job at safeguarding her and helping her flourish. P'N'L was an incredible Co-Parent to a single mother. Now I'm married with a 1 year old and 2 year old. They both attend P'N'L because I can go about my stressful day without the constant anxiety of worrying about how they are being treated and what they are learning. My 2 year old is Autistic and requires a ton of accommodation due to a rare autoimmune disease. They have superseded my expectations in making sure that he has the proper treatment and care. They are attentive, patient and thoughtful. They have a new system (to me) called "bright-wheel" that sends me updates periodically throughout the day. I know when they eat, sleep and potty. My favorite part is receiving photos of my boys on a near daily basis. I truly wouldn't trust any other place as much as I trust P'N'L. The most important people in my life have been entrusted to them. Everyone there has a special place in our hearts because they are family. I cannot recommend Play N Learn Preschool due to a couple of troubling incidents that occurred during my child's time there, ultimately leading to me removing my child from the school. While I did encounter some truly wonderful staff members who embody the qualities one hopes to find in a daycare, this was unfortunately not the case with all staff members. I personally witnessed an incident where a teacher handled a child aggressively, raising their voice and physically forcing the child to sit down during circle time, despite the child's visible distress and reluctance to participate. The final straw for me was receiving an incident report that did not align with the bruises my child showed up with, along with other concerning bruises that went unreported. Additionally, my child shared distressing details about their teacher's behavior. When I raised these issues with the director, Tammy, I found their response to be negligent, as they failed to investigate further. Instead, they placed blame on my child for being rough during outdoor play, even though the incident "coincidentally" happened in a camera-free area. This experience led me to the decision to remove my child from the daycare. I understand that other families may have different experiences, but the way these serious situations were managed was enough for me to feel that we could not stay. read more

I would not recommend this place, especially for infants. During my time here, I became concerned about the level of care in the infant room. I observed situations where babies were left crying for extended periods and did not always receive the attention or comfort they needed. Feeding was also not always age-appropriate, and on multiple occasions, my baby's bottles were returned full, indicating he had not been fed. I also personally witnessed Miss Jackie raising her voice at the babies on several occasions. Communication with parents felt inconsistent, which made it difficult to feel confident about what was happening throughout the day. As a parent, trust is everything, and unfortunately, I did not feel at ease leaving my child here. I strongly encourage other parents to ask detailed questions, observe closely, and trust their instincts when choosing care for their children. read more

The front door of the preschool have two sets of code to enter for a parent to pick up their kid from a long school day. Upon entering the school you are greeted by at least 5 staff welcoming. Moving forwards to the play ground areas and classroom. There are so many activities everywhere so a kid will never not be entertained from a large sand pit to a huge wall of chalkboards. Finding the ideal school for your child is a challenging process, especially when dealing with a child with special needs; this attention and search becomes even more intense. We spent several months searching for the appropriate school for our 3-year-old autistic son, and based on friends' recommendations, we went to Play-N-Learn School. Regarding the structure, appearance, and layout of the facilities, there's nothing to deny; they have it all. I noticed that all the spaces are clean and well-divided. However, when it comes to service, it fell short, starting from the beginning of my son's enrollment process. According to the office, we could start as soon as possible, but we decided to meet one of the very important requirements they asked of us, which was potty training. After two very intense weeks of toilet training, our son was already using and asking to go to the potty, notifying us of his needs, and we realized it was time to inform the school that we were ready. That's when the problems began. We had to beg to be attended to by the person responsible for enrollment. We called, and she was never available, passing us a list of procedures, and when we tried to return the call, she was never there. I went to the school to try to submit the documents, and she wasn't there either. I called the school to see if they had seen the documents, and it was yet another struggle to speak with her. Finally, our son's first day of school arrived, he was a little nervous to see his mother leave and cried. When the mother returned asking if they wanted her to stay a little longer until he calmed down (he already attended the district school and was accustomed to this type of situation), they said she could leave. They sent us photos showing that he was fine and having fun in the classroom, but suddenly they called us desperately asking us to return to the school because he was crying a lot. (We followed their initial advice, and it all went wrong.) My wife returned to the school and was received in a totally cold manner, without the slightest bit of sensitivity, saying that our son could not stay at the school "for safety reasons," that they took him out of the classroom, an environment where he had been having fun with other children, and the school shared via app that they took him to the office and claimed that he tried to open the door and escape to the street. How could he have direct access to the street? What sensitivity and minimal understanding do you have for an autistic child? And if you claim to be so inclusive, why didn't you give us a second chance when we asked you to reconsider? The school had my son for only two hours, and that was enough for them to say they couldn't keep him "for safety reasons." They brought up situations that our son had never done at home, but because he's autistic, it was very easy to blame him. The feeling left is that the whole idea they tried to build of being inclusive doesn't exist; they were and will be selective. I don't know about other children, but if you are a parent of a child with special needs, do not consider this place. read more

My husband scheduled a tour for us to visit the daycare for our 20 month old daughter. When we got there the person who answered the door said we had to take turns because my daughter couldn't go in with us. That wasn't mentioned at all to my husband and we were really confused. We had plans after the tour and "taking turns" wasn't really an option for us. Finally someone who was inside said that it was okay to get in with her and that this rule changed a few days ago. The tour went pretty well and we decided to add our daughter to their waitlist. I called two weeks later to ask what position my daughter was on the waitlist and they confirmed there were 7 kids in front of her. I called today (2 weeks later) to check again and they said there were 8 kids. I asked why the list is increasing and not decreasing and she didn't have an answer for that, just a "we all make mistakes ok? We are not adding anyone in front of your daughter". I'd love to think that there's not priority or favoritism as I'm new to how daycares waitlist work (if that is a thing). I also strongly believe that people do make mistakes. We have decided to just keep our daughter name on the waitlist but I'm afraid when I check in again in a few weeks there will be 9-10 kids in front of her and I'll receive the same answer. Which for me at the point will be just unprofessional. read more

Tomorrow will be our son's last day at Play n Learn, and to say we are devastated is an understatement. He has been there since he was three years old, and we chose to keep him there and do their Kindergarten program rather than moving him to a traditional elementary school. That was a fantastic choice! He had an amazing Kindergarten year, with truly wonderful teachers (Ms Kate and Ms Ashley), and he even stayed the summer there for their summer camp. Please feel free to read my previous review for more details, but Play n Learn has been an absolutely invaluable partner for us working parents. * The provision of food is a life saver, and one I'm going to sorely miss. * The staff go WAY above and beyond, all of them. We've had nothing but absolutely amazing teachers and the Director and Administrators have worked so hard alongside the teachers to help the kids succeed. * They really just go the extra mile. Our son graduated Kindergarten there during covid, so obviously things were really restricted in what they could do to celebrate. But the staff organized the most adorable 1-on-1 graduation ceremony outside in the parking lot, where each child got a timeslot and a cap and gown, and they did a little ceremony where the teachers presented the child with their diploma and took pictures with them on a graduation stage, and even gave them a little stuffed graduation bear. It was so cute and touching, and they really went to incredible lengths to make it special even though we couldn't have a traditional "group graduation" experience. * Covid was handled so amazingly, I can't believe the lengths that they went to to keep kids and families safe, while managing to keep the school open and running as much as humanly possible. The staff really worked with parents to minimize disruptions, both to the kids' learning as well as to families' lives via closures and quarantines, while having so little transmission within the school. I really don't know how they did it. * They are open almost every day of the year, besides a handful of holidays, which is absolutely key if you're a working parent. * Our son has ADHD and they were spectacular at working with him despite some of the challenges. We always felt like they were partnered with us to help him succeed. I could genuinely go on and on. I am so sad our days there have come to an end, but hope that they're an amazing home for other families as they were for ours. read more

Awesome preschool full of fun & educational activities! My daughter went here for preschool for 6 months. Ms Sukanya, Ms Betty & Ms Montse were so caring and patient that the transition to school life went pretty smoothly. There's always a theme going on almost every month: farm animal week, spring week, dinosaurs week, Olympic week, water week, etc. My dd learned so much thru different activities during the last 6 months. They have big playgrounds and 2 sandboxes so kids never get bored. They provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, so parental life can be a little easier (except my dd is a picky eater...). They provide updates on class activities thru school app, so you can get excited whenever you get an app notification! I definitely recommend this place :) read more

My daughter has been attending this school since she was 3 (now 5) and my son also has been going here since he was 2 (now 4). I feel that staff does a great job in accommodating my needs (special food restrictions) and they keep me informed of my kid's progress. Front Desk Diva Angie is always HAPPY and welcoming. I love the individualize attention she provides to every parent that walks through the door. Though I like how well thought out their lunch menus are, i still say that Mac n Cheese is a side dish and should not be a main dish ;-) I'm sure the kids are not complaining though. I'm going to start by saying that I'm very disappointed for the treatment they offer to the kids. As a parent I make sure my child is safe and treated good at all times. I have a 3 years old and she doesn't do things by yelling at her. I took a tour today at this day care center, a nice lady was showing me everything around until we get to the playground. I noticed a black lady that I'm guessing is one of the teachers, First off she was without a mask and it's funny because in the front door they have a sign that everybody should wear a mask even if vaccinated. Not only her but the ladies on the front desk some of them were not wearing a mask keeping in mind that they are right next to the children classroom and second off by yelling at a child, getting very close to their face and AGAIN, WITHOUT A MASK, instead of making a Child understand by explaining to them. Kids don't behave just because you are yelling at them, YOUR EMPLOYEES NEED TO GET THAT!!! Particularly my child gets so emotional, so scared and feels left out when teachers do that. This is the reason why I removed her from her other day care, because I saw a teacher telling a kid "Com'on stand up, I don't got time for you and she was pulling the baby's arm and of course I reported it as well. Because of things like this my child is so scared of going to a day care that won't even get in. The fact that the lady did it in front of me without caring, makes me think what will happen when parents aren't there ?. However, after that I asked the person that was giving me a tour how do they discipline kids? She explained to me and it was nothing compare to what I saw. We were going back office and this lady yelled AGAIN at another Child and I got very frustrated and told the person who I was on the tour with that I really didn't like the fact that that specific teacher was yelling at the children at this point I just wanted to leave. She apologized and agreed that it was not ok and that she will have a talk with her. With that said, I will not enroll my daughter into this childcare, A child who is yelled at is more likely to exhibit problem behavior and that in fact new research suggests that yelling at kids can be just as harmful as hitting them. My first impression of this child care was horrible, you guys should invest a little more on cameras in the kids classroom so you guys give parents piece of mind & for these type of "teachers" to feel ashamed if doing that in front of a camera . read more

Out of convenience, since living on Tuscany Hill, we decided to check out this preschool for our 2 year old daughter. We were pleasantly surprised! They have a state of the art playground, lots of classes that are separated by Toddlers 16 months-3 years), Jr Kindergarten, Pre-K, and Kindergarten. The environment the kids learn in is fun and energetic. I love how they have events and fun classes for kids to take. They offer Spanish, Mini Chef Cooking, Karate, Dance, and Fitness Classes to name a few. Everything is done on site. Don't worry about the food your kids eat since they make their meals fresh everyday. If your child has dietary needs or allergies, let them know and they will accommodate them. My daughter needed to drink Soy Milk for a while so I would drop off a few cartons and label them with her name. The teachers made sure she had the soy milk with her breakfast and any other time they served the children Milk. They have a very caring staff that makes your child feel happy and welcome when they get to school. My daughter has been attending this school since she was 18 months (toddler class) with Mrs. Monica. She loves her teachers and comes home singing songs that they have taught her. She's progressing wonderfully by learning her shapes, colors, letters etc. She is about 2 years and 3 months now and we get compliments on how well she speaks and the things she knows. She can speak in sentences and communicates well. This past week, they had a visit from a Petting Farm and brought farm animals so the children could be exposed to different animals. The only quip I have with this preschool is the fact that they do not let your child make up days that they have missed due to illness. This does not encourage you to keep your child at home when they have a cold. Thus, our daughter gets the sniffles often after going to school. It's a pricey school but it's worth it for us for the convenience of location and the education and progression she's getting. She loves it here and we would recommend this school to other parents looking for a preschool. We pay about $223/wk for MWF full day up to 6pm. read more

I used to nanny for a child that goes here. Everyday I would pick her up I would be greeted by someone with a smile when I first walked in. I would then walk to the check out computers to enter my information. Those computers are my only concern. While it is comforting to check her in and out, anyone can easily go in and do this. Many times it is really busy with parents going in and out that I'm not quite sure how they keep track of it all. When I pick her up from her room which is seperated by age she is always happy. I've never walked in on her crying or bored which is nice too! I wish that they would come up with a walkie talkie system to contact the teachers that a child is leaving, just as another way of confirming. Other than that they seem really nice :) read more

My nephew is 2 and has been going here for about a year now. He likes going so he can "go school, play wif frienz.....go on a slide". After being there for a couple months, he knows his ABC's, can count to 1-10 and almost has up to 20 down. He knows his shapes, colors, up/down, etc. VERY SMART. They have an awesome play area outside. Actually they have more than 1 play area. They switch it up too so the same kids don't play on the same play structure. It's great the tuition includes food, but sometimes mom wishes she could make his food. usually cheese quesadillas, turkey, pizza, etc. they have it all posted at school and online. Kid's have allergies and they accommodate them even writing down what they ate in the event of a food allergy. The teachers REALLY care and so do the staff. I LOVE this place. My nephew used to go to action day where he got a lot of ear infections and a friend of a friend saw teachers picking children up by the collar and yelling while they cry, etc. The second he was moved, he thrived. They always have parties for holidays and just w/e, parents get to go. They have ice cream parties and book drives, etc. They have PARENTS NIGHT OUT ONCE A MONTH!!! they have happy hollow come in with animals and other guests as such. they get to play in/with water in the summer. It's a great place for a kid to be. They let your kid start as early as 18 months all the way through kindergarten. As a parent, finding the right preschool for your child is not easy. There are so many things you take into consideration before making your final decision because this is your child you're entrusting them with. That is why first impressions are incredibly important, especially because we don't know WHO we are entrusting our child with. Whoever we meet initially when touring the school is basically the face of the school since that's pretty much the only person we meet and communicate with before making the final decision. With that said, I am leaving this preschool a 1-star review because of the incredibly disappointing experience my daughter and I had this morning. We've been in search of a preschool for my daughter in this area where this preschool is located because we plan on moving there soon. We've toured a handful of preschools and never had any issues. With Play-N-Learn, I had called them earlier this week to ask some questions and make an appointment for our tour. The lady on the phone was very friendly and kindly answered all the questions we had. She then helped us make an appointment for a tour for this morning. A few hours before our tour, I had called the preschool again to confirm my tour and they confirmed stating that Ms. Marina would be giving us the tour. My daughter was extremely excited to visit this school because I had shown her all the photos of the playground to get her extra excited. When we arrived, Ms. Marina, who I found out later was the director of the school, opened the door, looked at me, then at my daughter, and said "Hi, you can't come in." Those were her first words and they weren't said very nicely. No introduction, no apology, not even a smile, just those words. When I responded by telling her we had an appointment for a tour, she said "yeah but you can't bring your child because of our COVID restrictions." As I've mentioned earlier, I have toured a handful of preschools recently and none of them had this restriction in place. And I respect and understand that each school may have different safety protocols in place, but this was not stated to me at all over the phone. I had spoken to someone on the phone twice, once when making the appointment and once when I called to confirm the appointment, and nowhere during those conversations did they say I couldn't bring my child. When I had mentioned this to the director, she immediately got defensive and gave me poor excuses as to why they might have not mentioned it over the phone. I was hoping as the director, she'd own up to the mistake that her staff had made but she was just extremely rude and short with us as if we weren't welcomed there. It was not until I had explained to her how much work it took us to get to the appointment, especially since we don't live in the area, that she finally apologized in a way that didn't seem genuine at all. I was then hoping for her to at least give me some information about the school but she just handed us the school introductory packet and asked "what questions did you have?" I was so taken aback by the way we were being treated that I didn't even know what to say. She then proceeded to say "Seems like you're upset right now so why don't you come back later." What pushed me over the edge was when I was trying to explain why I was so upset, she threw her hands up in the air and said "OH MY GOODNESS! Let's start over!" I was pretty much checked out by this point and lost complete interest in this preschool. I asked for her name which is when she finally gave me her name, Ms. Marina, and her title, "I'm the director." I then asked to speak with the owner of the place, Ms. Tammy, whom I had read positive things about through their YELP page. When Ms. Tammy came out to meet me, she was extremely kind and understanding of my situation which was a bit of fresh air. She listened to everything I had to say and apologized for the experience. I appreciated the way she handled the situation and wish she was the person that we had initially met. Then our experience would've been completely different. I want to reiterate the fact that it wasn't the safety protocol they had in place that was disappointing. I respect the safety protocol and completely understand why they chose to make such a decision. It was the way the director, Ms. Marina, handled the situation of us not being informed before our visit. I could think of numerous ways the situation could've been handled differently that overall would've made our experience positive, even though we couldn't enter and tour the school. I hope with this review, the staff would take initial meetings with parents a lot more seriously by representing their school in a way that is more positive, understanding, caring, and trustworthy, which is what all parents look for when searching for a school for their child. read more

I am actually thinking of keeping her there for Kidnergarden because, the school is so fabulous. Tammy Lariz runs the place, and she and her staff, are the best. I am really happy with this school. My son has been here since August and I have seen such an improvement in him. I held him back from kindergarten last year and he had been in a different preschool. He has learned a lot more since the previous school. I also feel we really lucked out with him having Ms. Monica for his teacher. Admittedly...my son can be A LOT to deal with. He is full of energy with some other issues but he has really bonded to Ms. Monica and I can tell she truly cares for him as well. She always does the best she can with my son and doesn't give up on him. I appreciate her more than words can say!!! This is a fun place and often my son has asked me to pick him up late. He even cried on the way home asking me to take him back to school. I am really happy to have discovered this place. The only negative I can think of is merging from the parking lot to the Capital/87 ramp in the morning-but that's not their fault. :) read more

I have always been very picky and overprotective of my daughter and where she should go to school. But once I put her in Play N Learn, I knew it was the best thing I had done. Starting with the office, Angie and Jenny are super lovely. Always making sure your child is happy. Ms. Tammy. She is such a friendly and caring person. The best Director!! Making my way into breakfast with Ms. Maria (Chula) the most loving, energetic butterfly. Always happy to receive the students at drop off. My daughter has been there since she was 18 months. She is 4 now. I have no complaints about this school. I'm very thankful for all the teachers at that school. My daughter went from being a really shy, non interactive, quiet girl, never wanted to say hi to anyone to loving all her friends, participates in her school activities as-well as performances and loving all her teachers. I've been with play n learn for over 4 years and they are the BEST !! All 4 of my kids go there now since they just started taking 6months +, my 8 and 10 year old are also able to attend during this whole pandemic crisis and they are supper clean super attentive to everything ! I get messages throughout the day on the app that lets me know when my baby had a wet diaper , ate, took a nap , and wakes up from his naps .. and also for my older kids if they aren't feeling well or they'll send me pictures of them also, super organized !! They also feed the kids healthy and yummy snacks based off the USDA "my plate " , so everything fed to them is nutritious and healthy , they also are very considerate to those who have allergies such as nuts , everyone knows this is a no nut school . My three older kids have graduated from kinder here and I'm telling you they're amazing . Before this whole pandemic they would always have fun events for Mother's Day /fathers day the kids perform and make cute gifts it's the best ! They would always have party's including events for holidays like Valentine's Day, Halloween , Christmas , etc... They go all out. They have different themes each month and have vendors come with snakes (reptile week) or with a donkey (western theme) a bunny (Easter) (some examples). And this isn't new they've done this for years . The staff is amazing and I'm so glad I found them and they're open through this whole pandemic (Greatly appreciated )!! . I can't believe this place has 5 stars....You people are making Yelp look bad! My child attended here one day. Her "teacher" Miss Betty hit her! She hit her on her hand for making noise on her cot at nap time. However, the teachers in the classroom failed to put any of her blankets on her cot and made her sleep on it bare. When water play came around they told my daughter she had no swim clothes. I packed swim clothes and sunscreen none of which were used from her backpack. I guess my first clue should have been the office. The day I dropped her off all they required from me was one piece of paper asking for my name, address, and phone number. I have worked in childcare/daycare for many years and seen horrible things, and children treated horribly. This institution is NO exception! If you love your child, find somewhere else to take him/her! Bright Horizons is wonderful and is currently where my child goes and she loves it. It is a little pricey but I would rather pay more to ensure the safety of my child. Not to mention at the age of 3 she was spelling her name and knew all of her letters and numbers by sight. The teachers here are young, patient, and their passion is preschool and children! read more

This place is bad!!! They so don't pay attention to your child or their needs.. My son is allergic to pineapple and they feed it to him without looking at his chart.. Then when I called to ask them why they feed my son pineapple the lady asked me how allergic he was to it??? The director of the school never called me back to apologize or anything not professional and when I went to pick up his stuff they had the nerve to ask me if I would ever bring my son back here I told them HELL NO!!!! I can agree with all of the previous reviewers that everyone at this school does such a great job. It's really hard now in days to find a school that gives your child their undivided attention along with love and care. One teacher Amy Mendez is especially great; she has a loving personality, always helpful and teaches so much to the children. She has a creative way with helping each child to learn which keeps the children excited and playful. I would recommend this school to parents that want teachers that actual teach and not babysit, care as if each child were their own and have satisfied results at the end of each year. We sent our two children through this school and I can't imagine a better preschool. It starts with the Director, Tammy Lariz, who went to the school herself (her parents were owners) and who also put her three children through the school. This is clearly more than a job for her -- it is a labor of love. She cares about the staff, the facilities, the parents -- and most importantly -- about the children. Let me say a word about the staff. They are excellent. Unlike many schools that turn over people regularly this school retains their high-quality staff. Some teachers have more than 20 years with the school. The new staff they bring in are excellent too. They bring in people with great skills, but who also have a real love of children. And they are more than just a "day care". This is a school. They like to teach, to help the children grow. I love the range of things they teach -- music, plays, as well as the basics. They even help with potty training the littlest ones (something very few schools will take on)! The facilities are excellent and well maintained. Just go to a couple of other preschools then come to this one and you will immediately see the difference. Quality equipment, well appointed classrooms, and well maintained buildings. Overall it is a safe, fun environment for the children. Over the 7 or so years we came her there were one or two issues or concerns. But we just talked to the friendly front staff like Ms Jenny or Ms Angie, or to Tammy (the Director). They always heard us out and came up with a way to solve the issue. Play-n-learn gave both of my boys got a great start for Elementary school, and both have very fond memories of this school. They often ask me if they can go back for a visit. And Play-n-learn gave my wife and I peace of mind. Because every day we left our children we knew they were in a safe, fun, supportive place. this school is very good and very convenient if you have to hop on hwy 87. The best part is the teachers, they are flexible and the playground is very cool. The school is clean too. The rates for toddlers is pretty expensive (over 350 per week) but once the kids are potty trained and "move up" tuition becomes much more reasonable. It isn't the most academic school around, but the teachers are good, friendly, and both of my daughters have done well there and transitioned into kindergarten just fine. I recommend this preschool to other parents. read more

My son attends here. He started in preschool and we loved it so much we decided to keep him here for Kindergarten. The staff is super friendly and they're great with the kids. Ms.Lisa and Ms. Elizabeth are wonderful teachers. My son has grown so much and is beyond Kindergarten level in reading, writing and math skills. He loves school and looks forward to going every morning. My only complaint is they stop at Kindergarten. We will definitely miss this school when he is done this year. read more

My daughter is 3 years old has been attending preschool since summer 2014 she loves it and has learned so much and all the teachers Mrs Phu is always so helpful and awnsering my questions, and Mrs Rosa is also so kind is also helping with questions or concers to help our childs progress ,both greeting us with a smile. All the teachers who are great Mrs Monica , Mr Joseph , Mrs Betty , Mrs Sukanya and all others too it seems that they remember all the kids names i think this is so great that they have a great memory . Mrs Angie is the front desk area is always so helpful and perky with a great smile she benifits the preschool very well that the first person you see in the morning and afternoon as you pick and drop your childrens off . She is always so helpful and any concern or question she is willing to help the best she can. , The owner who hired her made a great choice her personality is so warm and its comforting that she is at this school working with our children. I thinks is so great because I think its great that she remembers everyones names and parents and also younger siblings who dont attend because they are too young , Makes me feel great as a parents that she and all others are there for our children . My son started going to Play and Learn Preschool when he was 18 months old and it was a hard adjustment for him at first, and for myself as well. But with great staff not only in the toddler group all staff throughout the facility are very friendly, welcoming, acknowledging, and loving. The staff in my childs group make me feel so comfortable throughout the day because they are sending me updates and pictures of my child. It really takes alot of stress away from me on a daily! I'm very appreciative for them and glad that I found such a great preschool to leave my child at daily and my child has shown that he enjoys the staff as well. He walks in on his own without a fuss or fight and it only took him no more than 4weeks to feel comfortable. read more

My daughter has been coming to Play N Learn preschool for about 8 months she is in Mrs Phu and Mrs Rosa class she loves her teachers . Both teachers are so helpful and I love the art and projects and all the songs she learns my daughter brings home , and she is so proud of her pictures she brings home .I love all the activities that she is involved in at school . I also like that they serve meals for our children makes it easy and they eat well balanced meals . The front office lady Mrs Angie is so nice and helpful and awnsering my questions since I rarely have the opportunity to pick my daughter up but when I do she is so helpful and always greets me with a smile . My 2 and 3 year old have been attending play n learn for about 6 months now and they love going to school! My daughters have advanced further than I could anticipate throughout the short 6 months they have been enrolled. A huge THANK YOU to their teachers and ENTIRE staff for letting me work without worry throughout the day while at work. Thanks to the receptionist, Ms. Angie, for answering my 1,000,001 questions and addressing all parents and their questions on a daily basis. My son has been attending here for 6 months already, he said that Ms. Rosa is the nicest and he gets attached to her easily. I'm glad to hear that he enjoys going to this preschool. At first he wasn't comfortable going to school but after a few weeks he's fine.. My kids are 5 & 2 and they both LOVE Play-N-Learn! The teachers are so caring and I love that it has a family feel. Even though it is a good size school it does not have a corporate feel at all (it is still run by the same family that started it years ago). It also offered more extra classes (dance, cooking, karate, spanish, etc.) then any other school I visited. My 5-year-old is writing so well and comes home with so many great projects (not just color a worksheet stuff that he always did at another school). My 2-year-old is singing around the house all the time and has started talking waaaay more since starting. BTW another person indicated they did not like Miss Monica. I believe there is only one Miss Monica there (in the toddler center) and my 2-year-old loves her (so do I, she is so sweet!) and all the teachers in the toddler center so much! I have a niece and nephew that both attend Play and Learn. My experience picking them up has been a happy one. When they leave they are very happy and talk about there day with Ms. Amy. They look forward to going back everyday. Ms. Amy is an amazing teacher. She is very attentive and caring towards each cjild. The kids love her, and seeing how much the other childten love her as well is so comforting. My sister always has spoken highly of Play and Learn and Ms. Amy, and now I totally understand. read more
