Ms. Mila and her husband Mr. Cuqui took care of both my children--my youngest from the time he was an infant until he recently transitioned to TK. They are some of the best caregivers I have been lucky to meet, and they are organized, efficient, and dependable in how they run their home daycare. If you are a new parent and unsure of whether a nanny, preschool, or something in between will be the most ideal for your child, Ms. Mila's truly blends the best of them all. The home-based environment provides that casual, family-like touch that is so good for the little ones' development and helps builds important human connections at an early age. At the same time, Mila and Cuqui integrate lots of intentional teaching, play, art, and activities on a daily basis that engage the children in foundational learning and skills-building. Both my kids learned to read at an early age, which I attribute to the help of the consistent attention and teaching they got here. On top of it all, Mila and Cuqui know how to make things fun--they celebrate holidays, birthdays, and occasional family gatherings, not to mention they take some enviable, much-deserved vacations and camping trips on their time off! I admire these providers greatly in how they live and run a business, and I truly loved and will miss sending my kids to them alongside all of their daycare friends. If you are lucky to secure a spot at Ms. Mila's, your family is SET.

Beba and Rada's Daycare is superb, and in my opinion, superior:). My son received care/attended…read moreschool with Beba and Rada from 8 months, until nearly 5 years old. He entered TK more than adequately prepared and ready to learn. My daughter is 3 years 3 months and currently enrolled. She started when she was 5 months old, and I even brought her back after a short stint at preschool, which I felt was not the right place for her developmentally. Where do I start, I am a teacher and come from a family of teachers, so I believe this has led my standards to be quite high. Beba and Rada have always exceeded these standards, and beyond that, they have taught me so much. Their infant/baby care is excellent, they are extraordinarily attentive and developmentally appropriate. Their toddler care is the same. They are structured, while promoting learning through play, and how to treat one another. They teach the kids as they are ready developmentally, and they have a beautiful space for the children to learn through play. They provide a home-cooked lunch and teach the kids how to eat (both my kids learned excellent "eating skills: from being with them). The children love being there, and it shows. I was certainly anxious to leave my first one (so much so that I abandoned a few plans before finding B and R), and once we arrived with Beba and Rada, my anxiety lifted very quickly. With B and R it is clear my babies, and now children were happy and very well cared for. To me, this place feels the same as leaving your children with family, and family that knows exactly what they are doing:). My children have learned an immense amount from them, and I can honestly say, they have been an integral part in raising my kind, respectful, aware, and happy children. Frankly, there are endless positives I could share about Beba and Rada's Daycare/School. I am more than happy to be a further reference for them if needed. Don't hesitate to contact me:).

It's hard to imagine the last five years without the support and care of Beba and Rada! The first time we visited it was such a beautiful outdoor space and I felt a loving environment from the get-go. They work very hard to provide play-based education in a mixed age setting which has been ideal for both of my children to learn appropriate social, emotional and life skills. They support parents in mny ways as well with their years of experience, patience, and understanding. There have been situations where I didn't know how to handle something with my kids ' developments and they have been a source of wisdom and reassurance. The healthy home cooked meals are a big plus and all the wonderful traditions they teach the kids like celebrating each other's birthdays and graduations and it really is like a little family. We can't recommend Beba and Rada's enough!!

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for Ms. Jane. She has cared for my children…read moresince they were infants and has been a part of every significant milestone--from crawling to walking to talking to reading. By the time my son started Kindergarten, he was well-prepared and eager to learn, thanks to Ms. Jane's influence. She played a crucial role in his academic and social readiness. Now, as my daughter begins TK, she is equally prepared for school because of Ms. Jane's guidance. Ms. Jane not only prepares children for school, but also lays the groundwork for life, teaching responsibility, manners, respect, and how to care for one another. Her unique ability to connect with children means they both adore and respect her. I often struggled to get my kids to listen at home, but a quick call to Ms. Jane would immediately improve their behavior. My children frequently say that they miss Ms. Jane, and they often draw pictures for her or eagerly share their weekend adventures. Even my son, who has been out of daycare/preschool for over a year, still enjoys visiting her. She has truly become a part of our family--a trusted guardian for our children. While we are so sad to be leaving after six years, we know she will remain a cherished part of our lives, and we will plan to visit often. If I could give her ten stars, I would!

He loved Ms. Jane and her daughter, so much, and actually looked forward to going to daycare, especially since, we were transplants from Tennessee, and had no family around, it was so important to find the best care for him, while we were at work, etc., and Ms. Jane's Daycare, did just that! We always received a warm smile and a hug at the beginning and end of the day, and had great communication at all times. He would show us his art work, and what he learned that day, and was so happy there, until we moved back home to TN. It was bittersweet, but we never forgot about Ms. Jane, her daughter; and all of the amazing things that made Ms. Jane's Daycare, so special. Thank you, Ms. Jane for taking such good care of Zane. You are one of a kind, and we feel so grateful for having met you.

This review has been long overdue. It's been three months since my daughter last attended Happy…read moredaycare, and just today while we were playing, she suddenly said, "Hurry up!" -- the first time I've ever heard her say that. I assumed it was something her new teachers say, but she quickly corrected me: "No, no, Andrea says hurry up!" She then went right back to playing, laughing and calling out, "hurry up hurry up!!" That moment alone speaks volumes about how much Andrea means to my daughter. She started at Happy daycare when she was just 1.5 years old. As a first-time mom, I cried on her first day, and Arti sat with me, gently reassuring me that we just needed to give her time to build trust. I can't express how much it meant knowing they understood this was her first time away from home. Within a week, the tears stopped. On her last day, I was the one still in tears because Andrea wouldn't be caring for my little girl anymore. Andrea is incredibly kind and patient. She cared for my daughter with so much warmth that even on weekends, my little one would ask to go see her and this happened more times than I can count. I never had to worry about food it was all taken care of at the daycare. During a medical emergency with my daughter, both Andrea and Arti stayed with her until I arrived, then remained by my side as we figured out the next steps. My daughter still misses Andrea to this day, and I know she will for a long time.

They have several rooms, a patio and a large backyard with several toys and play stations. Separate nap room with cribs is one of the main reasons we sent our daughter here. 2. They feed 3 meals + 2 snacks in a day. Note that snacks are mostly something small like crackers, pretzels, cheese sticks etc. Meals typically include oats, pasta, cheese quesadillas, paratha, idly, rice, some dal variant with veggies etc. 3. My daughter went in and came home happily every day. She started speaking and kept asking for her friends in the day care even during the weekends. Cons: 1. The kid to caretaker ratio promised is misleading. For more than half the time my daughter went here, we did not see any other care taker other than Andrea, based on the pictures we were sent and after taking to multiple kid's parents. For eg, if there are only 6 kids in certain days/weeks, likely it is run by just Andrea. They don't always honor the ratio. Caretakers are rotated across the other day cares they have. In a center-based day care, ratio is always maintained whether or not some kids are on leave. That is not done here. 2. The main reason we preferred a home based day care as opposed to a center based one is - home based day cares can be more intimate. More attention towards every kid. All other home based day cares that we tried for have several themed weeks, festival celebrations, kid's birthday celebrations, farewell parties, parents meet n greet etc. Do not expect any such things here. They do the basic care taking. 3. My daughter came home several times with food dried up on her face. They may not be cleaning up promptly and thoroughly after meal times. Overall, it's a decent day care that tends to kids well.

My girls genuinely loved going there every day and were always excited to see their teachers, caregivers, and friends. The atmosphere is warm, structured, and very nurturing. I also really appreciated the variety of activities offered -- the children are exposed to art, gymnastics, piano, chess, theater, and other creative lessons, which makes the experience very enriching for them. Another thing that stood out to me was the thoughtful approach to food. The daycare provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks with organic options and minimal high-sugar foods. As a nutrition professional, this was something I valued deeply. For our family, it was also meaningful that the children could maintain their Russian language while gradually transitioning into the American school system. We are very grateful for the time our daughters spent here and would happily recommend I Grow Learning Academy to other families.
