This daycare is everything I looked for. I was particularly anxious about sending my child to daycare and it took me a long time to finally decide where to send him. Let me tell you why I love this daycare so much. The teachers are so kind and genuinely love the kids. My boy looks forward to going to school each morning and runs in. Heather strives to continually make the place better and better. There are new updates to the facility every few months, adding new ways to help kids get more sensory experiences. They keep toys that are proven good for kids development like Loveevery. Even other things like high chairs have been thoughtfully purchased keeping the child's safety and posture in mind (they have Stokke). All the food is organic and snacks are thoughtfully chosen to be clean without additives and sugar. Also, they have cameras there that you can watch your child through. My child has thrived there and I have complete peace of mind when he is there. I never have to worry about food or naps or anything really. They take care of everything and so beautifully. We went through quite a few places before we found the perfect fit. What really sets this daycare apart is the love and individual attention they give to each child. The teacher-to-student ratio is great, and Heather makes sure every kid is well cared for. When we were transitioning our daughter into daycare, Heather was incredibly thoughtful. She kept us posted every step of the way and gave us great advice on how to handle the transition slowly and smoothly. Now, our daughter loves going to daycare so much that even on weekends, she wants to get ready and go! Potty training was another challenge, and Heather was there to support us through it. Her guidance and help made such a hard task so much easier, and we were able to get through it together. We couldn't have done it without her help. Our daughter started a few months ago when she was 10 months old and Los Gatos Daycare is everything I was looking for- loving and responsible staff, safe, immaculately clean, bright/open, and engaging environment (they use loverly toys, rotate them and are continually adding to their spacious backyard). Almost every daycare I had toured prior to this left me feeling anxious, and at Heather's my husband and I instantly felt at ease. We receive updates throughout the day and our daughter comes home happy every day! I know sometimes parents at other daycares will say that their child's behavior when they get home from daycare is a little anxious or upset, but our daughter is always her happy self when she comes home, which assures me she feels comfortable and happy at daycare. Heather, Ensi, and Romena are incredible, and it is so comforting to know that our daughter looks forward to going to daycare every day and enjoys her experience there. She has grown and learned a lot in the time she has been with them. They really supported her when she first started there and eased the transition, provide a lot of communication and info to parents, regularly clean and update the space the kids spend time in, and even provide suggestions and support in helping the little ones through various phases. They truly care about the kids, and it shows in everything they do. What we cannot thank them enough for, is working with our daughter's sometimes picky eating, and even going so far as to cook entirely separate meals just for her, and after all their efforts, our daughter has been exposed to and loves eating a large variety of different foods. Best daycare ever. Our family began our relationship in Feb. 2020 (right before the pandemic hit) when we enrolled our then 1.5 year old son in Heather's care. The relationship he developed with Heather, Ensi, and Romena was tremendous. He loved them, they loved him, AND they handled pandemic protocols flawlessly. Fast forward to 2024 and our 2.5 year old daughter has been with them for 2 years now. The love they have for her is just as strong as the love they showed her brother and she LOVES them in return. Every morning she talks about how excited she is to go see them and see her friends. It's everything any parent would want. They welcome all children with so much love at the beginning of the day and provide them with a safe, fun, educational, and healthy environment while they're there. They're also very supportive of families and are willing to work through all kinds of accommodations a child may need. Our daughter needed feeding therapy when she first began daycare. They patiently sat with her through long feedings, working through different techniques, to ensure she had the nourishment she needed while going through this time. We'll forever be grateful for the strong, loving foundation they've provided for our children, the patience and guidance they've provided them, and the deep support they've offered my husband and I. I can also say that the values of kindness, good citizenship, and being a friend that they instilled in our son remain today as he's gone on to elementary school. Finding the right daycare can be so tough for parents, and I've been through a lot of places looking for the best fit for my daughter. What makes this daycare so special is the love and attention they give to each child. The teacher-to-student ratio is great, and Heather makes sure every kid gets the care they need. I never leave reviews, but had to for this. We started our 18 month old off at a big facility daycare and I knew after day 2 it wasn't the right fit for her and ended up pulling her out, they didn't care for her even half of what we do at home, she also got extremely sick after with multiple ER visits that week just after two days. After I found LG daycare and we are SO happy, they truly care for our daughter like family would. Heather, Ensi and Romina are so warm and kind to our daughter I literally couldn't ask for better people to be watching/caring for our daughter. Our daughter doesn't like anyone, ever, and she loves them. I have zero worries when I drop her off there and as a mother that is so important. The daycare itself is extremely clean, and very nice and I am a very picky person. Our child has been attending LG Daycare for over a year and has created a bond with Heather, Ensi, Romena, & all of the kids! It's always hard dropping them off at daycare for the day, but knowing they are safe, happy and having fun, puts your mind and heart at ease. LG Daycare is great at communicating any needs and keeping you updated. Meals and snacks are also provided (breakfast/lunch & AM/PM snack). We receive daily updates (via an app) on nap time and what our child is eating throughout the day. Not only that, we are also able to check in and view the webcam for part of the morning and afternoon to see what fun activities or crafts they are doing. This is a big plus compared to other daycare options! You know they have been doing this for a long time, as they are structured and scheduled, but the kids are still having fun! They have great toys that are fun, educational, & engaging for the kids. They usually do a craft each week and have recently started giving updates on what they will be learning & focusing on for each week/month. I don't often write reviews, but I am rarely this happy with a business and want to share. The most important thing for me is that my daughter loves coming here each day, and this is largely because the staff is warm, welcoming, and in general amazing. When I drop her off at daycare, she smiles, jumps on whoever greets her, and gives them a big hug. She adores her caregivers, and it is clear that they adore her too. Education - My daughter is learning so much with them! When she first started daycare, she was slightly behind her peers. Now she is coming home and saying full sentences at 19 months. She surprises us with new words every week and knows at least 100 words by now. She can recite her ABC's and knows some letters by sight, and she can count to 11. She sings to us all the time. They do lots of learning exercises and art projects together, and at the end of each week they send the kids home with their art. The environment is great. I visited a few daycares before choosing this one, and none of the other places I visited came close to Los Gatos daycare in this regard. The play area is cheerful and warm. The backyard is sunny and has lots of fun slides and toys for them to play on. The entire house is impeccably clean and I frequently see them cleaning/disinfecting the toys. Every time I visit it smells like they have been cooking something amazing, and its because they have been. They serve the kids healthy home cooked food for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Good communication/transparency - at the end of the day they give you a full report about what she ate/refused to eat, and how long she napped for. They will also verbally tell you if she had a good day or bad day, if they notice any potential health issues, if she needs a thicker jacket, if she learned a new word, made a new friend, or if she went down the big kids slide :). They also have a webcam in the play area, so if you are missing your kid you can tune in for a bit and watch them play. Safety - Heather is medically trained. I've always been paranoid about my daughters safety, so I am happy knowing that if there are any accidents, my daughter is in very capable hands. More importantly, Heather is clearly committed to keeping the kids healthy and safe. She has a fair sick policy that prevents my daughter from bringing home a virus from other kids, and she frequently disinfects everything. She is also quick to alert me to any potential health issues. Staff - Heather, Romena, and Ensi are experienced and clearly love kids. They are gentle, patient, and kind with her and I can tell that she feels happy and safe with them. The kids get lots of hugs and affection, and individualized attention when they need it. At the same time she is learning rules and has structure while she is there, which has been great for our home life as well. read more

Our baby girl started at Los Gatos daycare last Summer, and we are extremely grateful. Here is what we like: - trusted people. Heather is very professional and serious about daycare. No teacher turnover! Same staff here everyday, and they have never changed. You know the little ones like to stay w the same people and make them feel comfortable. They develop relationship and trust which is important. I know some big chain daycares struggle with staff turn over rates. - Happy environment. My daughter loves to go to the daycare and play w her teachers and friends. She is very happy! -development. We have definitely seen our daughter's developments. She can sing a song and dance, she can count to 20, she knows words, and she can speak full sentences ( she is two now). - live camera. Everyday, we have a certain time to access the camera and watch their morning circle time. We can see how our baby girl is doing and how she is interacting w the teachers and kids. - daily report. Every day we receive an email of the daily report, what did she eat, when did she nap, and any other things daycare thought we should know. - responsible communication. Our baby Ella goes to Los Gatos Daycare (LGD) and we've been so lucky to have Heather, Ensi, and Romena work harmoniously to take care and help develop her. She started with LGD over a year ago before she turned one and it has been amazing. I'll itemize a few areas that may be important for someone looking for a reputable/reliable daycare. 1) Location - in Los Gatos neighborhood so there are not a lot of cars to worry about going in and out of parking lots. Most of the parents drop off/pick up at different times so parking right in front of the house is pretty easy. Since i use 85 freeway daily to get to work, it's just a few minutes from there so the location is very convenient. Overall, a very quiet location away from loud traffic, freeways, constructions, etc. 2) Venue - the house is very cozy but there are different sections of the house. Since LGD only takes a limited amount of kids/students/toddlers/mini me's/droolies/infants/poopie kings and queens, it never feels too crowded or tight. There's a section where they learn and play that has quite a bit of toys and there's a section where they all gather to eat and have snacks. Overall, the venue is very clean, maintained, and safe! They clean their toys regularly and I can see they maintain the eating area and kitchen very nicely! 3) Food - they provide breakfast, snacks, and lunch!! Ummm...high five! My wife and I used to make lunch for our son when he went to daycare and it was a chore! If you drop off early enough, LGD will provide breakfast. Having this service/accommodation was a blessing because it really opened up our baby Ella's palette to try different foods and really helped her eat at home as well. They have all sorts of things on the menu that they let you know what your child has eaten the day of so that's awesome! some examples -- pasta, rice, fish, chicken, all sorts of veggies, fruit, etc. They keep it pretty healthy for the growing babies and NO JUNK like high sugary drinks or french fries, pizza, etc. 4) Hours - typically 7:30AM to 6PM which is great because that works with my schedule of having to get to work before 8:30AM and leaving work at 5PM. This staff works super hard so don't be late in picking up your child/baby! 5) Curriculum - good balance and very involved! They read a lot, do crafts, counting, and have lots of play time - inside and outside. Before 2, Ella can count to 20, sing her ABC's, and respond to a lot of vocabulary - even say multi syllable words like CONGRATULATIONS or HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Each week, Ella is coming home with some new word or has been responding to our questions much more so we have to thank LGD for Ella's continued progress. 6) Staff - the best part! Heather/Ensi/Romena are amazing, loving, genuinely good people. At drop off or pick up, they're always smiling and greeting Ella with lots of energy and hugs. I don't know how they do it after 9+ hour days, but even when I've picked up Ella at 5:55PM -- they are always smiling and providing feedback about Ella and her progress. This group is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They also provide a daily report of what your child ate, when they slept, and how many times they pooped! Lol. 7) Pricing - you definitely get value here and it's worth it! There's a waiting list so you may want to inquire and get on that list before your baby is born! We only hope that they can go past pre-school but I think they are sticking to keeping the experience great and focused. One day, we will have to leave LGD as Ella will have to go to pre-school and so on. That day will be sad indeed. In all honesty, we can't thank LGD enough and I'm sure Ella can't thank LGD enough as well. It really says something when your child says "we going to Heather's house right??" each day. My Daughter is thriving at the Los Gatos Daycare. It is really clear that Heather loves children and has a great deal of experience. This is a really loving environment that is super clean and well organized. Los Gatos Daycare has some great features that make it stand out from the rest; a camera and daily email reports. The camera is situated so that I can watch my dear little one play during the day. I was so happy to see Heather playing with my daughter and interacting with her, reading, playing and having fun. The daily email reports help me to know how much my daughter slept and ate. I am so glad that I found this place. Oh and did I mention the wonderful nutritious home cooked meals? When Heather found out my son and daughter were both sick, she made us soup to take home. I really feel like she goes above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. read more

My 2 yr-old son has been attending LG Daycare for the past 6 months and my husband and I have been so pleased with the quality of care! Prior to LG he was in a nanny share and we then transitioned him to a larger daycare chain in the area after his nanny had to reduce her hours. He did not do well with that transition at all as the caregivers at drop-off were not consistent/rotated throughout the day and seemed to apply the same treatment to every child regardless of circumstances and personality; after a month of crying at both drop off and pick up and a new illness every week, I had had enough. While I was hesitant about an in-home daycare, I decided to try LG based on the large number of very positive reviews and a great first meeting with Heather who was clearly both loving and experienced with children and professional and organized. After two days, my son was happily walking out the door in the morning excited to go to daycare. He runs right in now (i'm lucky if I even get a goodbye!) and is always laughing (and miraculously CLEAN) at pick-up. It is evident how much the caregivers here truly love the children and want them to learn and grow. My son always comes home having learned a new song or words/sentences and knows his shapes, colors, numbers and some letters before two; i've been really impressed with the learning pace. It gives me great comfort to know that he is getting a mix of learning, art/music, and outdoor time with people who know him well and want the best for him. Heather is also awesome about giving updates on any changes she is noticing with our son so that we can talk about how to continue to partner together to help him and provide him with consistency. Logistically, as working parents with demanding hours the location is great next to 85, the price is excellent for the value, it's a HUGE time saver not to prepare and pack meals/snacks, and the hours (7:30-6) are awesome for when you can't avoid that early morning or late afternoon meeting. Also, while we haven't been at LG daycare through a winter yet, our son has yet to have any colds (no missed work!), I'm sure in part due to how impeccably clean this place is and how good Heather/the team are at recognizing when kids are a bit off and might be coming down with something. We'd HIGHLY recommend this daycare to anyone we know and look forward to enrolling our younger son soon! read more

As my maternity leave was coming to an end last fall, I was trying to decide between getting a nanny or finding an in home daycare for my daughter. I actually interviewed a hand full of nannies and visited several daycares in the Los Gatos area so I did a lot of research. Based on my criteria, I decided on Los Gatos daycare. Fast forward by 8 months, I am very happy with my decision. At the end of the day, every parent wants a loving and safe environment for their baby while they are away and LG daycare provides that. Few highlights: - It's an in-home daycare and it's clean. That's honestly really important to me as I didn't want my daughter to get sick from germs all the time - The hours are flexible. Some daycares in the area don't accept kids before 8 or 8:30 a.m. The hours here are 7-6 which is very generous for working parents - Heather, the owner is organized and sends out daily reports on your baby in addition to other communications as needed - They actually have a camera in the main play area so when the kids are playing, you can actually log onto the App and see what's going on - They are very positive, friendly, and always happy to see the kids. Trust me, that hasn't always been my experience with other daycares - My daughter is happy when she gets dropped off in the mornings which tells me she likes it there too Highly recommend! read more

I would give 6 stars to LG Daycare if I could! We have been sending our daughter there for almost a year, and I cannot say enough good things about the care she gets there. Heather and team truly LOVE the children, greeting them with warm hugs every day. They are very orderly, communicative, and I feel very comfortable and safe about the environment there. My daughter was very clingy and shy, but now is so excited to go to "school" every day. Heather took a very gentle and loving approach to help acclimate her to daycare. Additionally, Heather makes a great effort to ensure that sick policies are enforced to protect the children from illnesses (as much as possible, of course)- I am so appreciative of this. They provide healthy meals, a structured day, free play, and a wonderful experience for the children and also the parents. Los Gatos daycare has been amazing for my son the last 5 months that he's been attending. My son was in a daycare center prior to finding a spot at Los Gatos Daycare and he cried constantly and never, ever slept. When a spot opened with Heather, my husband and I jumped on it and were so very impressed even from the very beginning. Heather is organized, skilled, and so nurturing. You can tell immediately that she has a passion for childcare and truly excels in her role as caregiver. I've been impressed with so many things at Los Gatos Daycare, but I want to highlight a few here so you can truly get a picture of how amazing this place is! - For reference, my son is 15 months old. He's always loved to talk and mimics all words so well. Last month at my sister's wedding, my niece asked him to count with her and he COUNTED TO 8 all on his own. We hadn't practiced counting too much at that time and it's all because of Los Gatos Daycare that he's doing so well! They have time in the morning where they get the kids together at the table and they do all different kids of activities. You can peek in and see them during this time and it's always so much fun to see! - Communication with Heather and the staff at Los Gatos Daycare is beyond amazing. Whether you text or email them, you'll always get a prompt response! My son was having difficulties getting off the bottle and transitioning to a straw cup with milk. Heather asked that we use the same cup at home that we send to daycare and he started successfully drinking milk that same day with her. He's doing so much better at home because of it! - My son is so incredibly happy to go to "school" every day. He walks in with a big smile and never even looks back to say good bye to us. He actually cries when we leave.... Haha It gives my husband and i such peace of mind to see this in our son because we always feel like he's in the best possible place he could be while we have to work. I could go on forever, but just know that if your child is attending Los Gatos Daycare, you will feel at peace and feel like you gained additional family who truly care and love your child as you do. We have had the good fortune of having our son attend Los Gatos Daycare since August 2019. From day one we have experienced clear communication and compassionate care. Selecting a daycare for our son was not an easy process - especially since we were nervous new parents. In fact we visited pretty much every daycare in the area until decided Los Gatos daycare is the one! When our son started over here at 17 months old, we instantly knew we have made the right decision. I can't say enough amazing things about Los Gatos Daycare. My daughter loved the place so much that our transition from care at home to daycare was a breeze (not even a drop of tear!). She always came home in clean diaper and clothes, never came with any scratches or bruises and was very well taken care of. I transferred my daughter from Peppertree Daycare when she was 6 months old. Couldn't be happier with my decision. Ultimately, it depends on what you are looking for. My daughter couldn't nap well at Peppertree due to many ridiculous rules and their wasteful handling of breast milks. Granted, she cried the first day I dropped her off, but that's one thing she should outgrow. The very first day at LG Daycare, she took a good nap and was not overtired at all when she came home. She used to pass out by 6 p.m. for the day and her father never had a chance to see her on weekdays. Now, many months fast forward, she has grown to be a confident baby. Many times, didn't want to come home (before reaching one year old) with me showing me how much she enjoys there. Other positive things, LG Daycare is clean, nice backyard for the kids. Kids including babies spend time outdoor everyday for some time. There are people who open daycare for the sake of money, you can truly see the people there enjoy playing with the kids. read more

I'm updating my review to 3 stars rather than 4. The reason for my update is because Heather's response to my original review came off hostile and defensive. I didn't say her facility was bad, I just had an issue with the deposit. Again, I understand her policy stated 2 weeks, etc. but it's not like I had him at her place for 6 months then asked for my deposit back. He was there for 7 half days total so not even a full 2 weeks. That should have counted as somewhat of a trial period. read more

Our daughter (now 2.5 years old) has been at this daycare for a little over a year now and we are extremely happy.  The three women who work there full-time,  Heather, Ensi, and Romena, are all very lovely and have made our whole family feel welcomed and included.  Our daughter thinks of them like family and they treat her with so much kindness and love that it feels good dropping her off in the mornings.  She has attended two daycares previously that were larger chains and she did not seem to be as happy in those environments because there were more kids and the teachers were more cold toward her.  Also, the turnover in care providers was much higher at the chains since they changed her rooms and rotated positions in those rooms frequently.  I had concerns initially about using a home based daycare because I was worried it would not be as structured and focused on learning, but I have found that LGD has a great balance.  They have a very set routine and are given reasonable responsibilities like cleaning up toys and putting their shoes in a certain spot, etc.  She knows her ABCs, can count to 20, speaks in clear, full sentences, and seems to be progressing well for her age.  It seems like a big focus is on social skill development which I believe is the most important thing for children her age.  She talks about her feelings and how the other kids at LGD are feeling when we pick her up.  She knows how to share and has learned how to take turns which has helped reduce her stress when interacting with other children. Whenever our daughter has behavioral issues (like all 2 years olds), Heather contacts us right away and we discuss it together.  They never make me feel embarrassed or ashamed of her actions and we come up with a plan together which makes me feel like we are part of a team.  When I got pregnant with our second child, they worked with our daughter to prepare her for the change. They would talk to her about it and give us extra feedback into how she seemed to be handling the situation.  When the new baby arrived, I think they really helped her though the transition to big sister. One day her little brother will be attending with her as well. Other good points are that the location is great, the outside play area is very nice and well maintained, there is a camera you can use to check up on the kids, they provide two healthy meals and two snacks, and they have long hours.  It is a small place so I know the names of the other children and chat with the other parents at pick-up and drop-off.  Our daughter talks about the other children at home and I know who she is referring to which makes it feel more like a community. Heather, Ensi, and Romena's commitment to the kids is uncommonly noteworthy.  They don't seem to view this as a clock-in/clock-out job; they are very committed to the children and it is clear that they care very much about them.  I feel very lucky to have found LGD. read more

Heather runs a great daycare! My wife searched high and low for daycare's before finding Los Gatos Daycare. We were very nervous about putting our 6 month old daughter in daycare but on meeting with Heather I new quickly that she was going to be a great fit! What I love best is that Heather will take short video's of my daughter and send them to my wife and I via text during the week. Also, Heather communicates with us very well. We receive a daily report of our babies eating and sleeping as wells as including items that she may need for the rest of the week or the following week. She is always close to her phone and responds quickly to text or phone calls. I think that the personal interaction with the other kids and with Heather is why my daughter is progressing so quickly, she started crawling within weeks of being there and is very close to walking! I have and will again recommend Heather to anyone looking for for Daycare services. She is such a wonderful and caring person and I trust her completely with my daughter. read more

Our son (a little over 2 years old) has been with Los Gatos Daycare (LGD) since he was 17 months old. He looks forward to going to LGD each morning. He has made new friends here, celebrated his second birthday here and is eagerly learning his ABCs, 123s, shapes and colors. We have been extremely happy with the care provided. We'd highly recommend LGD to any parents who are looking for daycare for their beloved little ones. Here is list of our observations and experiences that may be helpful to parents contemplating their daycare decision: - The three wonderful teachers, Heather, Romina and Ensi, genuinely love kids. Our boy has developed strong affections and connection with each. - The facility is very clean, lots of windows and plenty of sunlight and fresh air. Kids' supplies are well organized tagged with names. Weekly deep cleaning schedule. - Daily activity includes two outdoor playtime in the backyard. The backyard is well shaded that allow kids to run around during summer time. It also has lots of play sets and playground toys that the kids enjoy. - Size of the facility. They allow up to a dozen kids under care. We felt this is the ideal size. Not too big so that the kids can receive plenty of individual attention. Not too small, so they are able to socialize with other kids. - The location is a plus for us. It is minutes away from 85 and 17, but tucked away in a cul-de-sac in a nice residential neighborhood. Parking is not an issue and drop-off/pick-up is also very convenient. - Heather had formal medical training and is very observant. There have been occasions she would text us, sometimes with notes and photos with what she observed. - There is a camera that allows us to observe how our son interacts with teachers and other kids. - Daily email report that shares what our son ate for snacks/meals and how long he napped. - LGD teachers tailor their care for the needs of individual kids. Initially our son had trouble following the napping schedule. To help him adapt to the new environment and schedule, Heather had him napping in a separate room under dedicated care. It took quite a few weeks for him to eventually adapt, much thanks to the gentle care the teachers provided. - LGD teachers are experienced with bilingual family. It took bit more time for our son to pick up English because we speak to him in Mandarin at home. The teachers were very patient with him. Now he is not only getting much better comprehending oral instructions in English but also eager to communicate with fragments of a few English words he learned from school. It was not easy for us to find a daycare for our boy. We visited quite a few daycares including some of the larger chains. Looking back, we are so happy we made the right choice for our boy. My first and only child has been going to LG Daycare for almost nine months now and she absolutely loves it! I was a stay-at-home mom for 2.5 years so this transition wasn't easy for myself or my daughter. Heather and her Husband Ali made the entire experience very comforting and enjoyable. Los Gatos Daycare has been a miracle allowing me to go back to work knowing my daughter is in the best hands! I found this daycare through yelp after a year of searching on google and asking colleagues for recommended daycares and it is a miracle we did! My daughter started going there when she was 10 months old. She is 17 months old now and still goes there full time. Let me say that I was very worried starting my baby in daycare at only 10 months old having not ever really left her with anyone else more than two hours. Plus, she was primarily still breast feeding and barely eating solids. What stood out in the yelp reviews was that she LOVES the children so I decided to check out Los Gatos Daycare. Fast forward to 7 months later and I can speak for myself what stands out at Los Gatos Daycare. First of all, my daughter is being left with people who know her very well. She is not being left at a center with revolving care providers. It is primarily Heather, the owner, and her mother Ensi, and one other woman, who all are soooo loving to her. I get the feeling they love her as much as I do! And my daughter obviously soaks this up and is happy and thriving there. Only a handful of times, in the beginning, did she cry for maybe 5 minutes or less. What a surprise to me when I'd drive away and log on to the video with my phone, I expected to see her bawling but I'd and see her being doted on by the ladies, and happily playing or being held! The daycare is the cleanest daycare I've ever seen (after 3 kids, I've seen probably 10 daycares!). They frequently sterilize the toys. Heather is excellent at running the daycare. She sends an email every evening so you know how long your child napped and exactly what they ate and at what time. They biggest reason I chose Heather's daycare however was her unique enthusiasm and connection with my daughter. She has a way with little kids; they LOVE her! Heather is awesome! My daughter loves going here. We had a really hard time finding day care and were very lucky to have found this one. It is very clean, which I love and my daughter (14 months) is fed all organic food. Heather has been great in working with my daughter to make sure she gets her personal needs met when it comes to her sleeping habits, temperament and every day toddler learning. Heather is very loving with my daughter ,which is evident when she jumps out of my arms to go see her. Overall, I'm most satisfied by the team like atmosphere I have with them to really help raise my daughter the way I want. I recommend her to everyone! read more

Our daughter has been going to Los Gatos Daycare for approximately 4 months and she loves it. She started when she was 6 months old and was smiling since day one so I can tell she has an amazing time over there. We love the camera to log in remotely and see her when she is playing, that's a very nice bonus. I take purees that I prepare for her lunch everyday but other than that they are very accommodating with her snacks and make sure she eats well. Communicating with them is very easy too, I'd usually text during the day if something comes up and they are very responsive and accommodating about any request. My daughter has been going to this daycare since she was 15 months old, and we absolutely love this place! As a first-time working mother, I had a really hard time finding the perfect place for my daughter. She had family caring for her till then and later a nanny at home. So, when we decided to move to a daycare, I visited dozens and came close to feeling like I would always feel the daycare wasn't good enough for my daughter, but I would just have to settle for one that didn't have any red flags. But, this one was different. I had a really good vibe, and Heather was great with answering all of my questions patiently. The first few weeks were very hard for me, and Heather and her staff (Ensi Jun and Romina Jun) not only cared for my daughter, but held my hand through the process as well. They told me what to expect, how to understand my daughter's reactions and how to help her adjust. We followed their advice, even when it was difficult and that really helped our transition. Three weeks in, my daughter would get her shoes and stand at the door when I said we were going to "school". She has been going there for over a year now. She loves and misses everybody at school whenever we go out on vacation and that is so endearing to me. They are a really big part of my daughter's life and I am grateful for them everyday. A little bit about why we like LG Daycare: -- They are structured (they have a daily schedule, they stick to it, especially with mealtimes and nap times) -- They do lots of projects and creative activities, that helps the little limbs learn motor skills and stimulate their brain as well -- They are still flexible. Early on, when my daughter didn't want to do a project, she wasn't forced to. She could still free play till she started showing interest in the activities. Free play is a big part of their day, which is really great for younger kids. -- They have a beautiful playground, where they rotate toys and keep adding interesting, fun stuff! -- They honestly love the kids, and it shows! The kids are always showered with hugs and kisses, which is actually very important to me. Romina Jun hugs my daughter after a long weekend and says, "I love you baby, I missed you baby" and she really means it. :) -- They are open to questions and feedback, and always give me heads-up when she has any behavioral changes (toddlerhood!) My son Felix started at Los Gatos Daycare when he was 7 months old. He loved this place from the day one. He had his first birthday here, took his first step here and made new friends. Sending him to LG Daycare was one of the best decisions that my husband and I ever made. Here are some reasons why we highly recommend this place, 1, The owner/director Heather. Taking care of kids means a lots of responsibilities. Heather is a good director. She knows how to be a trusted partner and how to run a daycare successfully. All the policies here are well-structured and executed. They also make the application and onboard process as smoothy as possible. Heather always responds promptly to our call/email/text, and provides feedback to our request, which is professional too. 2, The caring and experienced staff. Heather, Ensi and Romina are doing a really good job of taking care of every kid. Whenever we visit here, we always hear kids laughing. My son opens his arms to the staff every morning when I drop him off. I know that's his way to say I love this place. 3, A clean, beautiful and well organized facility. We were impressed on our first visit. There is also a nice playground in the backyard. 4, Being open minded and using the latest technologies - online payment, online webcam, dropbox for photo sharing, emails for daily report and holiday reminder... Well, it's not just about the technology, it's the people with an open-mind that we feel comfortable to have our child be with. Sending babies to the daycare is not a easy decision for any new parents. I remember the morning of Felix's first day there, I sit in the office but couldn't concentrate on work, then I received Felix's photos from Heather. She kept texting me and letting me know how he is doing there. When I picked him up later that day, I almost burst into tears seeing him smile in the infant swing. I love Los Gatos childcare! Heather and her mother really do love the kids and it shows. I was very nervous about placing my 18 month old in fulltime childcare after her being at home with her dad. But after the first day it was apparent los gatos childcare for my daughter. What I like the most is heather is so attentive to my daughter. I really feel she is my second eyes and ears for my lil one and it makes me comfortable. Also she communicates well giving me a daily update and what my daughter has eatn and what time she napped.
