While we were waiting, the key holder--not a manager, from what we were told--wearing a black polo shirt and brown pants, was walking around the store being loud and talking about how he could control the music because he had that "power." He was using his phone and appeared more interested in playing with the music than helping customers. He then saw the employee helping my son and said, "You look like John from Staying Alive," and continued making comments about the employee and the professional suit he was wearing. He then loudly said, "It's time to get jiggy with it," and appeared to press something on his phone. When it didn't work right away, someone joked that maybe he didn't work there anymore. His response was essentially, "Wanna bet? I bet I got the power to turn the music." This went on for a while. Meanwhile, we discovered that my son's suit had apparently been sitting there for two weeks without the alterations/work that was supposed to be done. So we asked, "Now what?" At that point, the same key holder in the black polo came over and took over from the other employee. He told us there was nothing he could do, but there still wasn't any real effort to resolve the situation. The entire time, he seemed to be milling around the store, making comments, playing with the music, and generally creating a very unprofessional atmosphere. And then, before we left, the key holder got into a yelling match with another customer and called the police on that customer. From what we witnessed, the customer was upset about their own issues with the store, but I personally did not see anything that seemed to warrant calling the police. So, to summarize: a store full of customer-service issues, a key holder more concerned about controlling the music and "getting jiggy with it" than helping customers, a suit that had apparently been sitting there for two weeks without the work being completed, and then the police being called when another frustrated customer became upset. Wild. And no, this wasn't a TV show, Punk'd, or some kind of hidden-camera prank. This was MW on a busy Saturday. What an experience.

Not impressed with this store. The last couple times I have been they have not been collecting clothing. They also failed to post this fact on their social media which I think would greatly benefit their customers especially if they have to drive a decent distance to get there. Also their selection of clothing is lacking, I suggest they choose better on what they offer. read more

This Home Goods store is located right next to a TJ Maxx store. Inside the store the two stores are…read moreconnected to each other so that customers can easily walk between stores. Home Goods is a store that has decently priced merchandise and they provide a good service to the Space Coast of Florida. One thing important worth mentioning is that the isles are very narrow in Home Goods. This severely hurts the customer experience because customers are not given adequate time to look for and to examine merchandise for purchasing. Other customers are stuck waiting for customers to move, to allow them to walk down the isles, to allow them to find an item for themselves to purchase, and it limits their ability to walk around the store all together. This means that, because this store so packed with merchandise, it actually hinders the customers ability to make purchases. So what might seem like a good idea, packing the stores with more merchandise by narrowing the isles, what was likely meant to increase sales in the store, actually does the opposite, it's decreasing sales. I also don't believe that the narrow isles are disability friendly nor are they friendly for plus size customers. Once inside Home Goods, I found that they had a great selection of gardening supplies, pets supplies, and outdoor furniture. They also sell bedding, beautiful decorative items for the home, indoor furniture, and they have a selection of decorative seasonal items (such as Easter decorations).

While there were a lot of holiday decorations stocked, the narrowness of the aisles made the shopping experience less than pleasant. 2 carts could NOT pass by each other on any aisle. The shelves were overly stocked, so trying to pass by, your cart would get caught up on the things on the shelves. I heard 3 different incidents of things breaking while in the store. It is very easy to do that here. I did like that big selection of dog clothes that you don't normally see at other Homegoods locations. I purchased a Christmas sweater for my pup. Also, I liked the selection of gift baskets that were out. I purchased one that would be good to give for Christmas but to celebrate New Years.
