Dillard's, as compared to many of the local clothing stores will have a higher level of brand names and prices that follow accordingly. You will not find Walmart prices in here so if your used to paying $16 for jeans you will be sorely disappointed. However, if you want Calvins, Polo, or Cremieux brands you will find them here. You will also find top brands for shoes and backpacks by Tumi which are hard to come by is any other local retailers. The downsides are that sales seem to be hit or miss outside of big holidays and the overall feel of the store is a little dated. I look past that though and enjoy shopping here. Enjoy!

The past suits I bought were decent but if you are athletic and have more than the 6" drop from your chest to waist, you'll have a tough time finding a reasonably priced suit here. I happen to have a 44" chest with a 34" waist and it's tough to find a suit here with separates that can be mixed and matched. To make matters worse, I was in a serious car accident a few years ago and after a knee reconstruction and two shoulder operations I've gained some weight so now I'm a 46 chest and 38 pant. How many 46 short suits did they have to choose from in the entire store?? Two. Yes 2. Pretty bad and both had 40" waists. Really neat little store with clothes for both men and women, plus some unique decor and other stuff you're not going to find everywhere else. The clothes are stylish without being ridiculous, and the staff is super helpful without following you around the store trying to sell you something every 30 seconds. I ended up buying two shirts and could have easily bought more. Definitely follow them on social media because they post new arrivals, which brings me to my only complaint. They had this shirt with chickens embroidered on the shoulders that I absolutely would have bought, except the only one left was a small. A small. There was no amount of optimism, stretching, or wishful thinking that was getting me into that tiny thing. So whoever bought the one in my size, we have beef. I don't know who you are, but I hope you enjoy my shirt. Next time I'll buy it first. Very cool store, great staff, and definitely worth stopping in if you're downtown Lafayette.
