Ready to go meals is a delight to see with your eyes as you walk by their display case - meticulously prepared and stacked by the prepared foods department. Meals priced per pound but really taste good. Roasted chicken is highly recommended to bring home and enjoy for lunch or dinner - left over chicken soup the next day :-) no time or no talent to cook - grab a container of soup, wraps, salads or dressings. Make your own bowl of salad, pasta, side and main dishes - priced per pound as well so choose wisely what you pick and put in a container. Not sure about the taste? Not only wine but also an abundant selection of liquor and non alcoholic beverages are available on display. No idea about wines? You may ask suggestions from the wine experts assigned at this section. Admire the variety of flowers (in pots, bouquet arrangements or individually sold), every day greeting cards and yes! Aisles are wider, the floors shiny (but slip resistant) and clean, perishable and non perishable items are well organized/categorized. Plum Market team members are very helpful and knowledgeable. Theirs the vibe of "you get what you pay for" customer service. Parking is expansive and free. Expect to see fancy looking automobiles. No valet parking yet :-) The West Bloomfield location is my favorite, next to Bloomfield, Ann Arbor, downtown Detroit and Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

I would recommend this store but not this employee to deal with. The paczkis that they had brought in from Palace looked just ok and I came all this way to get a strawberry bundle which I was told they had only to get here and they have NONE.

I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.

This little shop exceeded my expectations. The selection of sweets is impressive, with everything from Turkish delights and international candies to nostalgic penny candy, bulk sweets, chocolate-covered treats, nuts, raisins, and so much more. There's enough variety to satisfy just about every kind of sweet tooth. And then there's the ice cream! There were more flavors than I could count, but I settled on two scoops: bourbon and a vanilla packed with thick ribbons of caramel and chocolate-covered caramel candy. Both were decadent, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. Mikey's has only been open for about a year and a half, and I'm thrilled to be the first Yelp reviewer to give them some love. This is definitely a sweet little gem worth discovering. The shop is located in a convenient strip of stores with plenty of parking. Electronic payment is accepted, and tipping is optional. If you're craving something nostalgic, indulgent, or just downright delicious, stop by Mikey's. Your sweet tooth will thank you!

The 70% dark chocolate is some of the best you will ever try! Our host and owner is so lovely, she was patient with the beginner questions and offered nothing but her extensive knowledge which is invaluable. A small tight production, you can see the care and attention to detail. They are the only chocolate make in the greater Detroit area, most others are chocolatiers who fashion their good from premade chocolates that are laden with sugar. With Dwaar you will taste the notes of the chocolate. And they should sell those roasted cacao seeds, they are delis and addictive! For high quality dark search them out!

Tons of dried beans are imported to Michigan, which is then roasted, shells removed, grind, mixed and tempered to shape as a bar, bonbon and other holiday shapes. Each bar individual bar is priced a bit higher than the commercial chocolate late because DWAAR chocolate has a higher percentage of cocoa and much darker in color. The chocolate maker / owner of DWAAR chocolate is very passionate about her product. Be assured the she creates the highest quality of dark chocolate you can find only Michigan. The owner received an award and was featured in magazines, online and tv. I wish in the near future she will be able to mass produce and supply chocolate discs that can be melted and used as coating in fruits, chips, apples and pretzels. Must try the so-called sipping chocolate which is 100% dark.
