The worst part of HOAs and management companies is you are required to give them a key to your house. This is the beginning of your nightmare. The CC&Rs gives Board Members the right to enter your house at any time, with or without your knowledge. All they have to say is they thought they heard someone screaming for help. Very common, happens all the time. You have more rights living in an apartment. Board members start out fine, but always end up on a power trip. You have to worship them or they will figure out a way to put a lien on your house. Now it's time to hire an attorney at $30k or more. Good luck. read more

Our community this place manages has trash in common areas, overgrown weeds in common areas, doesn't respond to calls or emails for days. When they do respond, it's with all the pleasantries in the world yet nothing gets done to actually have our community look up kept. Which is rude and dismissive in my opinion. To add to the above, they have no issue sending letters advising the residents about a few weeds, or a tree not properly trimmed.... Which wouldn't bother me if they actually took care of their duties first. It's not difficult to hire a landscaping company and schedule regular maintenance and then, you know, check on it every few months to make sure it's done properly, or actually listen to the residents when they complain about trash overflowing the common bin by the playground for over a month. I'm not sure what they do, but I do know we pay enough per resident to have the garbage bins emptied weekly and the weeds/tree/trash cleaned at least every other week. The fact we don't is frustrating. The fact our calls and requests go unanswered is infuriating. Terrible. read more

1st of all, we almost went through the wrong door. We almost walked into the gym next door. Oooppppssss! Then, we walked into Platinum Management. The place looked very clean and professional. The secretary was very well mannered. Everything was "Yes, sir" and "No, sir." She called Dina, service with a smile. Dina gave us our pool keys and said, " If you need anything, don't hesitate." Unresponsive to inquiries, they do not return calls or emails. I took the time to show up at the business because my phone messages and emails went unanswered. Upon arrival I encountered two other people there actively confronting specific property managers about mismanagement issues. I had to wait in line to try to resolve my issue. This management company can hardly handle the volume of business they already have. Based on what I heard while I was waiting it seems they are nit managing that we'll either. Bottom line is that I would not hire them to manage anything. I found them to be slow to return messages. In my experience they have been slow to react to community emergencies and solve problems by sending in some poorly performing tradespeople to put a bandage on the problem. read more

When I experienced an issue with my landscaping and couldn't get any support from customer service, I reached out to Platinum for help. But I was simply told they would not do anything because it "isn't an HOA" issue. Meanwhile, they have been content with sending me harassing letters about other "issues" with my home. Will not be buying any houses in the future that are associated with them in any way. read more

I have yet to have one single positive experience interacting with people in their office. they are rude, have no customer service, slow to respond and difficult to work with when problems arise. The absolute WORST HOA Company. They sent my father wrongfully to collections without ever reaching out to rectify any payment issues. His payment was submitted online, and they reversed it without ever notifying us and sent the account to collections. I have been trying to get in contact to rectify the issue but no one is helping me. I spoke to Cyrstal their accounts POC and she was extremely rude and defensive stating she can't speak to me since the account went into collections. Firstly, it should have NEVER gone to collections, Secondly, they are charging me the lawyer fees and extra charges. Thirdly, they are thieves and stealing our money. I am in contact with our home builder to get this unprofessional company removed as our HOA. I have never experienced such disgusting rude people in my life. I learned First hand yesterday why company was rated 1 star only. So the story., Previously are home owners s association was managed by this company., They stopped being manger of property on April 01, 2019. The same day the quarterly dues are to be paid. My payment was taking on April 02, 2019 and the new management company took over on April 01, 2019 They managed to lose my check between the two companies. When I discovered what happened I phoned Platinum management. David answered what a joke followed by a so called manger Sarah. David is so very profoundly ignorant to the facts he claims to command . I explained what happened., he claimed they were due the money because they serviced the property., Okay true., David could not understand how at the start of a new quarter they had not yet done any work as is the future. Sarah manger dropped that line of thinking and instead only defensive with zero idea of saying how can we help fix this., She does not know at all anything of what she is doing it was a nightmare conversation a night mare company and clearly mentally ill employees that go around negatively impacting the innocent public that is forced to deal with them. Pray they can get mental help in the mean time close the business till they get better and then reopen. That is why they are 1 star before my review and remain 1 star after my review. read more

I have to leave a good review because I need to give credit where credit is due. Platinum management staff has been exceptional with me. I dealt with Gabrielle Brazzell which is an assistance manager for the HOA. My e-mails and phone calls were responded in a timely manner. Gabrielle has proper phone etiquette and profesional manners and I come from a job where you have to follow specific professional guidelines on and off duty. Anyway, I am a very fair person and I don't hesitate to spend my time writing a review when a person deserves credit. I have to say that I am very impressed with the customer service received and how all my questions and concerns were all resolved or answered/responded. I am new to this HOA so to me first impressions counts a lot and I am more than satisfied with the treatment I received so far. Controlling, retaliatory, dishonest and devious. Will distort and manipulate what you say and do. I've never seen anything like it and I have worked with 3 different management companies. They cannot be trusted. I've worked with them while an HOA board member and also ACC member. If you want to have a conversation with them that makes them uncomfortable, they shut you down. If you ask questions they don't want to answer, they shut you down or just ignore you. If you call them out on their devious behavior, they shut you down and feign ignorance. They are very unprofessional and not particularly smart. I've updated this review because they continue to be everything listed above but I had forgotten to add that their record keeping skills are so poor that they are unable to maintain even a simple email address correctly. I have corrected them multiple times and yet, they continue to use the wrong email address again and again. When I asked them very directly why it continues to happen, they refused to answer and instead used very insulting language in their reply to me. I was stunned and taken aback when I read their abrupt, condescending reply. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would as new home owners we've been so disappointed & frustrated. We've been following their rules submitting our requests for only 2 things & constantly get the run around, get hung up on, & never get a response. This is the worst HOA company possible they literally just play phone tag & are so quick to just say "okay please hold" & disconnect. There's no empathy & they are just full of lies. Platinum Management HOA has been the best HOA I or my family has had. They are professional, friendly, quick to respond, and actually care. I have had a couple of issues with services in the community and being displaced due to a house flooding. The HOA was easy to work with, everyone was very friendly, and didn't feel as if I was treated as "just another customer", it feels like a community. I am VERY impressed by the HOA and are lucky to have them. Great company and people to deal with and a wonderful place to live. Thank you for everything that you do! read more

Worst HOA I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. From jump it has been a story of inconsistencies and lie. We were never informed of the change of management so incurred a substantial late fee. We were never informed of a mysterious homeowner vote to add additional dues for a nature preserve area so that added to our annual expense. They won't respond in a timely manner to any communication, and they all have a different story. We have had to seek legal assistance at this point as they are still impossible. They refer to a board and yet this board is still our builders. They lie consistently. When caught they hang up the phone or refuse to address the issue. It has taken over 6 months to get any type of clarity and that is still so vague no direction is gained. More interested in protecting the home builder then doing their job. They are quick to threaten monetary and punitive actions but are slower than molasses to help you resolve issues. They appear to want to be paid to do absolutely nothing. I am trying to come up with one nice thing to say but can think of absolutely nothing. My favorite lie that is company tells is what their job responsibilities actually are and who is running anything. Not sure if they are delusional or so uneducated that they lack the basic business knowledge to understand a title and what it means. Assistant does not mean Chief of Operations. Not on any planet in any country. Horrible organization and company. They should all be ashamed of themselves. read more

Our HOA transitioned over to Platinum Management beginning in 2018 and Platinum failed to properly advise all residents in the neighborhood. Got charged a late fee for quarter one since I was on automatic payment with the last property management company and was not set up with Platinum management. I called and they were happy to waive the fee, but the story doesn't end there. For quarter two, I did not receive a bill and was not set up with automatic payment so I got another late fee. Called Platinum and they said they can only reverse one late fee every year. Well, I wish they considered the fact that the first late fee was their fault in not notifying all the residents to set up automatic payment with the new property management, or lack of management I should say. Spoke to a "manager" over the phone who apparently has no authority to waive fees. She said that if I didnt receive a bill or "courtesy bill" in the mail, then it's not their fault. I guess I had too much hope and expectations that this company would consider the transitional period hiccup and help me out with the second late fee. read more
