We booked them for our wedding send off. We booked a black limo and the ride was from Big Canoe to the ATL hotel airport which was 1.5 hour trip about 75 miles. Our wedding send off was at 10 pm but before we walked up to the exit doors to walk through our guests, the venue coordinator and 2 others approached me and said that they saw our driver drinking. He claimed he only had 1 glass of red wine over the course of an hour. Was he fine to drive? Probably. Should you drink on the clock when driving for a limo service? No. Anyways we start the drive and the hood of the limo starts going up in smoke. We pull over the side of 575S and raise the hood. He said it was a brand new radiator and it had no coolant in it. He poured some water in there and we made it to a gas station for coolant. I ended up paying for the coolant and we are back on the road again until it breaks down again on 75S. This time the entire electrical went out inside the limo. The radiator was empty again so the driver thought there was a hose leak. So he waits a bit and tries again and we make it to Barret Parkway off 75S where we have to pull over for good at a gas station and have another driver of the same company come pick us up and take us to airport hotel. All in all our 1.5 hour trip ended up being 3 hours as we arrived at our airport hotel at 1am. During the stops and breakdowns, we rolled with the punches and handled it well despite being our wedding night. Didn't raise any voice or ask for refunds right there, I assumed we would have a refund conversation later given the limo broke down 3 times on our wedding night. The total trip cost me about $400 and Antonio(boss not driver) offered to refund me $100. I told him that did not seem fair given the circumstances of a preventable situation. He said ok here's $125 that's the best they could do. So I sat on this review for a few weeks until I could collect my thoughts and deem what I thought was fair. I really didn't want to write this review but the way the refund process went forced my hand. I am sure they have provided quality service to others in the past but that was not my experience. read more

I hired these guys off of Limos.com for my wedding. they were supposed to pick me up at my hotel and take me to my wedding at 1:00pm. from 1-1:30 I called their office nonstop...no one answered....so 2 groomsman drove us to the wedding. Limo shows up at the wedding drives us about an hour to the reception...charges us $450 (that does not include the $150 deposit) then the manager cursed at my wife when we called them about it. They are scam artists...I wrote a review on Limos.com, but they cried about it and Limos.com took it off. Either way, by using this company I got royaly screwed, and I suggest you NOT use this company EVER!!! read more

This was the worse limousine experience I have ever had!!! The owner charged me $425.00 for 4 hrs. The driver was late, the inside smelled mewdew, the control panel was broke, the privacy window was broke, the carpet was so dark and dirty I thought it was shampooed in syrup. The tvs didn't work, the tint was so bad on the back window, it looked like bubble wrap or lick on tint. Both back windows with the tint were so bad, I thought I was looking through an aquarium. And it had a dent on the drivers side of the limo. And the owner failed to relay this information to me. And it was my son's 8th grade prom. read more

Platinum Limousine service was professional out of the gate beginning with my first contact with the company, the individual who answered the phone. She provided me all the information I needed, quote, availability, well spoken, polite and I wasn't put on hold for a long period of time. When I phoned back to reserve a day later, she remembered me and the pricing didn't change. Go ahead and laugh, but one company I contacted kept changing the price on me. My driver Kevin was exceptional!! Very professional, dressed very nicely in a suit, well spoken, educated and provided excellent service for 7 hours!! He was friendly and spoke to us, but did not talk to much or listen in on our conversation. The car was clean, didn't smell of chemicals, dirt, smoke, well maintained, etc. Kevin drove safely, I never needed to worry about being the back seat driver. Kevin didn't know it was a surprise for my birthday celebration in DC and yet he still went out of his way to make mine and my friends experience exceptional!! I live in Western Howard County and the commute was to and from to DC. I have used this service for years without any problems but they have gone totally downhill. I will never use them again. My wife and I returned to DCA from a trip with a lot of luggage and we had a horrible experience with Platinum Limo. We were picked up late up by an incompetent driver in a car with over 260,000 miles that smelled like urine. We had to drive all the way home with the windows open in the cold weather due to the bad smell. The driver could not figure out how the trunk opened until a baggage valet we hired showed him that there is a trunk button on his key. The driver also did not know how to put our luggage in the car. I and the baggage valet had to do it ourselves. I called to Platinum Limo the next day to complain and someone took my information to pass on to a manager who would call me back. No one ever called me back. I will never use them again. read more

Awesome experience. I was assigned to them through limos.com. The driver (Lorin) called me when I landed and was waiting for me curbside. Car was in pristine condition and the driver was courteous... It was 90+ degrees outside and the A.C. was not working! Only 1 window would go down, and the stereo was old and raggedy. The side of the limo had a big rust stain on the side. The service was very good! We had an hour drive from Baltimore to Washington DC and our driver was very friendly and professional. We accidentally left our 2 kindles in the back seat and our driver called us right away to let us know and then shipped them right to us. I was very pleased by their professionalism and honesty. Our driver was very professional, arrived on time, loaded our luggage, and was friendly and accommodating during the trip. I gave them one star because you cannot give zero. The woman who answered the phone, Ruth, is a rude, unprofessional liar. She quoted me a price and I booked the service. On the DAY OF MY EVENT, my credit card was charged twice, so I called to let them know a mistake had been made. At that time, I was told that they charged separately each way. This was never indicated to me when I made my reservation. I specifically asked if the price quoted was for round trip service. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that none were available. I told Ruth to cancel my reservation and she told me they would charge my card anyway. After my husband spoke to her to straighten things out, Ruth said that she would not charge my card. A couple of days later, the charge appeared and I am fighting with the credit card company to have it removed. To top it all off, I just received and email that Platinum Limousine is attempting to have my negative review removed from Wedding Wire. These people have a lot of nerve! Save yourself some trouble and some money and book with another limousine company. ABC Limousine based in Washington, DC saved the day for us. Give them a try instead. read more

What's good about this company? Their only employee that I dealt with on the phone, Cindra. We spoke several times and she was always sweet and helpful and very patient. What ruined the wedding day? The driver Jocelyn. She got lost on her second trip to the church carrying the groom and all the men in the wedding. Yes, she had just been there with the bride and bridesmaids. She got so lost the groom was late and the wedding started a half hour late. You can only imagine what that does to an already anxious bride and groom. The last straw was when the wedding party was loading up to go to the reception. Not only did the driver not stand by the door, helping people in and then closing the door as you might expect a limo driver to do. She instead, jumped in the driver's seat, and took off with 4 people still waiting to get in. She knocked one parent down and a bridesmaid too. Still didn't get out to see if everyone was okay. Just took off again once the last person in had closed the door. Her reply to the people in the limo? "I said I was sorry, what else do you want me to do?" So, I reported these events to the company. I again spoke to Cindra. She was horrified to hear these things. She reported them to the owner and told me he would be giving me a call. Still waiting for my call one week later. And to top it off, he charged me for an extra hour for going over the 4 hour time limit by 30 minutes. The exact amount of minutes our wedding was late starting because the driver got lost. Isn't it possible the driver caused us to run over the carefully timed event? Guess the owner didn't see it that way but I sure do. One last comment. None of the music, TVs, Neon Lights, special effects advertised on their website were working. Just a LONG dark car ride filled with men all checking their GPS apps to see where we were and how long before we might get to the church. read more

I actually purchased time with this limo service through a fundraiser that was sponsored by my high school. I had never used the service prior to purchasing the two hours at an auction. I contacted the company first via email, but did not receive a response. I then called the company and set up my date and time for service. I did have to call back to get my contract emailed to me, which they did promptly after that. On the day of service, I called and spoke to Cindra about picking up a person in the Waldorf area. She was most helpful and willing to accommodate my request. Our driver was Michele. She was friendly and helpful but not 100% confident in our locations. Overall, my experience with the company was satisfactory and I would recommend them. I do have to say that I have had other experiences with other local limo companies where the drivers were more personable. read more

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Limo broke down on the way to prom. We had to pick our children up off the side of the hwy and take them to the prom. Arm of the door was missing, that shouldve been fixed before prom. Entire prom experience was ruined. This time will never come again for my child. Company keeps saying oh the money was refunded, but still no refund as of 5/16/2016. Driver was kind. Horrible experience, but even worse customer SVC. This experience has done nothing but cause pain and suffering and a loss of my time. Now I have to use more of my time to the court house and file paper work to get my money back that platinum keeps telling us he refined!!! read more

4 out of 5 Stars, for us! We rented 2 limos and both arrived timely (early), and the drivers were professional and friendly - one even provided a cooler w/ ice, for us to keep our champagne cold!! The office staff (Chantel?), was awesome, responsive and professional. The only downside, keeping this from being a '5, was the A/C. It didn't work very well, which made for a somewhat warm ride for a July wedding. Fix the A/C and you'll be tops! read more

I can say that I absolutely will be using this company again. Chantel is amazing. She is the one who showed me the limo, processed my payment, and overall gave me the rundown on everything. The driver...dang I can't remember his name...he was amazing as well. He def was into pleasing me and my guests so he got tipped very well. He picked us all up for a surprise party at Largo Town Center Metro station and then took us to Chi Cha Lounge on U Street in DC. Came back exactly on time to take us back to Largo Town Center Metro station when we were ready to go. I am just so satisfied. My only complaint is that I did not see the water or soda in the vehicle that should have been provided so I'll make sure to double check that next time. Again. You guys are great. We booked this company to take our daughter and her friends (24 people total) to and from their Senior Prom. For starters, the driver was over 90 minutes late. Every time we contacted the company wondering where the limo was, the person on the other end of the phone would promise us the limo was just a few minutes away and yet after 15 or 20 minutes and yet another call, there was no change in the story and no change in the expected arrival. We finally got in touch with the owner. To say that he was unsympathetic, completely unapologetic, belligerent and condescending would be an understatement. He acted as if it was our fault somehow that his driver was late. He did not offer another driver or a better explanation. Instead, all he could say was "so you want to cancel?" Completely unacceptable considering we had to get 24 teens from Howard County to Baltimore and back. In light of all our complaints, he could not even be bothered to apologize, even when we asked him for one. After we managed to find enough cars and parents to drive all our children, the limo finally arrived. The elderly driver was also not apologetic, belligerent and appeared to be disoriented. He claimed his Garmin GPS sent him the wrong way and that when he figured it out, he got caught in 3 different accidents on the beltway that slowed him down. We immediately used Google maps to check his claim and there were NO reported accidents or road construction on the route he claimed to have taken to get to the house. He then angrily offered to pick our kids up in Baltimore and offered to do so for 2/3 of the original price. At THE VERY least, there should have been a 50% discount since transportation was not provided to the prom and a responsible business would have picked them up for FREE. He provided no assurances that his "GPS problem" would not be an issue picking up our children and delivering them back home. So we refused. I cannot state this any more clearly. They do not deserve to be in business. They do not deserve YOUR business. Their behavior was despicable and inexcusable and the owner deserves to go out of business. This is not the way you treat people and he should not be trusted with transporting your precious cargo, be it your children, wedding party, bachelor party or taking you to buy groceries. Avoid them at all costs. I know we and the parents of 24 children will be doing everything we can to spread the word about this appalling company. read more

My husband and I used their services for our wedding on April 17. There isnt anything bad I can say about Platinum. The drive arrived on time, was nice and the limo was clean. When we left our reception, the driver took the scenic route through the city instead of 95 south to the airport hotel, which is probably the only thing i didnt like because we were pretty tired. But honestly, if thats my only complaint than it's a pretty sad complaint. We also used their services when we came back from our honeymoon and again nothing to complain about. Im not sure why others who have reviewed Platinum had such a bad experience. Overall, the experience was good and I would use them again. Their price was about the same for other companies around. Also, because we booked 9 months before our "Prom season" wedding, we got a good deal because prices for Platinum and other companies we called, were a little more once the prom season started. read more
