Haha...Great boutique hotel in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. We needed a place to stay overnight before leaving on a river cruise to Normandy and this looked like an interesting place. It had pretty good reviews on Trip advisor as well. When you get to the entrance of the lobby, you notice the "Walk of fame" type stars in the concrete...made me feel like a star...lol. The decor is 50s Hollywood chic with huge portraits of Marilyn Monroe covering the walls and some really cool retro furniture. When we stepped out of the elevator on the floor to our room, it was quite shocking to see all the walls painted black with sort of a chequer pattern on the floor and colored lights. I swear, the first thing I thought was "WHOA...I feel like I'm in the backroom of a bar in the the Castro or maybe an adult arcade." (not that I've ever been in any of those, though.) ;) The rooms are quite small but this is pretty standard for hotel rooms in general in Europe. The walls in the room...you guessed it, black, but there was an interesting pattern on the walls which looked like black leather. There was also another big portrait of Marilyn overlooking the bed. The bathrooms had little LED lights in each corner of the grout in the tiling, very cool. The staff here was also great. They were very helpful with any questions we had. They even let us borrow an electric cord adapter since we forgot to pack ours. The location is good, too. Right next to a shopping mall and only 2 blocks from where the river boat was docked. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd gladly stay here. read more

Great stay in Paris! From the moment we walked in the door, this hotel was the perfect place for us! The reception desk workers were very accommodating and ensured we were enjoying our visit! This hotel is "Hollywood" themed, so the decor adds a nice touch to Paris. Each room has Marilyn Monroe on the walls and makes it for a fun stay. The bathroom has colored LED lights to also spice up your night. The hotel has a spa, breakfast lounge and even a honest bar where you can pour your drink and choose the price to pay. Lastly, the location is great! They are right next to a shopping mall, and convenient access to metro 10 and C. If you are even up for a walk, you can get to the Eiffel Tower in 1.2 miles (20 minutes). read more

I am so glad that I booked and stayed at this hotel! We had traveled 13 hours flight from LAX, the staff was welcoming as soon as we Walked in the door after a treacherous ride in a cab (which I highly do not recommend, everyone should definitely travel with a eurail pass) Anywho we arrived at this hotel after making last minute reservations on hotel tonight app on my iPhone. All the reviews were amazing and it was a 96% rating. Harry was very accommodating and literally answered all our questions about the surroundings areas. The breakfast is well worth the 15 euro, Brie cheese and all the fresh oj assortment of cheese, scrambled eggs and sausage salami hard boiled eggs, and of course served with all the bread you can eat. Amazing assortments of teas and a American friendly espresso machine ;-) The room was small but you don't really spend too much time in the room while in Paris. Although I'm raving about our bathroom and the lighting system they had which made it all the more savvy. This hotel is all about Marilyn Monroe also which is amazing, topped off with her classics playing in black and white in the elevator with a sexy hand written message on the elevator mirror about the happy hour they have in the lobby, written in lipstick. Finally lets get to the best point of the entire venue... The hammam and the Sauna... The hammam for those of you who don't know is a steam room and this by far is one of the best I have ever experienced, even as much as I traveled and such a surprise. With how small the hotel is and the outside is a little deceptive, but this quaint little hotel has much to offer if you're traveling on a budget... Also it's walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, but we also walked to du louvre. Soooo walking isn't really so bad when you're taking in the a needy and culture. Thanks Harry! read more

Okay so... my best friend & I took a trip to Europe in 2018 (I know-late review), but we got to stay at this wonderful location for our 5 days in Paris. First off, the location was convenient because it was maybe a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, the mall is literally a 1-2 minute walk, bunches of places where you can eat & metro is also just a few minutes away. Our package included bed & breakfast and OH MY LORD THAT BREAKFAST WAS LIFE. I don't know if anybody else would disagree, maybe we just had just never been outside the US (besides Mexico) but I could swear to you that food was just built different. Whether or not they were using packaged food & heating it up or making it fresh (we will never know), it was just DELICIOUS. On top of that, they had wonderful staff that assisted to us immediately. There was a concierge available, the hotel itself smelled so beautiful as soon as you walked in, it was classy & unique! There's also a small gym but of course, I was in Europe to gain more weight- not to lose any LOL. Anyway, the theme is Hollywood Marylin Monroe style & it's just amazing. It's pretty dark but it's part of the theme they have going on. There is, however, only one elevator and MANNNN IS IT SLOW. But it wasn't a big issue. The bathroom shower had these really cool lights too. You could shower in the dark but with other fun lights... kinda like you're at the club or something haha. They do have a hair dryer available. There's snacks in the fridge.. but as you know, super expensive. 24hr convenience stores are nearby so just take the walk! They have a nice seating area outside where you can smoke, lots of shade. I usually went out there late at night but stopped doing that one night I heard a weird noise over the fence as if somebody was watching me! If you need directions, staff is pretty good with that, we almost always had this sweet gentleman named Richie (I think) that didn't speak perfect English but he sure tried! & he helped us with our French too lol. Like all other hotels, there is a tourist fee. Also, when you need to get to your airport, the receptionist can help calling somebody to get that all set up!! The reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because we developed little red bumps on our skin during our stay (bed bugs I suppose) & well, that kind of sucked because you can see them on my face for most of my pictures, haha! But I would absolutely stay here again if I visited in the future. Only thing that kind of sucked was that I left a very important blanket behind and called a couple of days after I left but they said it wasn't there (Which I KNOW FOR SURE I LEFT IT IN OUR ROOM) but maybe housekeeping kept it. I would have paid to get that blanket back to me at all costs! But oh well. Other than that, I highly recommend people to give this place a go. We got a beautiful view as well, even though it wasn't pointing towards the Eiffel Tower. We didn't have a patio, I don't think any of the rooms do (I might be wrong) but the windows do open! One of the most charming hotels I've ever stayed in! Facilities: This boutique hotel is old-hollywood themed with sexy, vintage decor adorning the lobby and old movies playing on the elevator. I loved every aspect of the vibe. There is a charming "honesty bar" in the lobby where guests can create their own cocktails. Loved the fact that you could borrow a flash drive from the front desk with a collection of Marilyn Monroe films - available in French and English - to enjoy in your room free of charge. The downstairs spa features a well equipped gym as well as a Sauna and steam room. While we were not told about the massage services, we later found out that massages can be pre-booked and had in the basement massage room. While we did not get the breakfast - it is available for an additional fee. This hotel does not offer hot meals other than breakfast, although a variety of cold snacks and drinks are available via room service or the not-so-reasonably priced in-room minibar. Room: What charming rooms! Our party booked two Classic rooms and each one was unique. One of our rooms came with a small library of books which we had a great time reading on our down time. The other had Marilyn Monroe wall paper on the ceiling. It was well-done if you like this style of decor. Rooms are decently sized and well-appointed. We enjoyed very good night sleeps in our beds which came with plenty of pillows and blankets. TV had enough channels - mostly in French with a few English options. The bathrooms were basic but nice. Soaps/amenities came in cute Marilyn Monroe packaging and the showers can be a bit tight and confusing to operate. We still managed well. Location: The hotel is tucked away on a side street in the 15th Arr. Within walking distance is the Charles Michels metro stop which is convenient and cheap - no need to buy a special metro card, trips can be paid for in cash. There are a few excellent restaurants nearby as well as a shopping mall, convenience store, and boulangerie/pattisserie - everything you need to enjoy the Parisian lifestyle! The Eiffel tower is about a mile walk away if you follow the Seine. We were pleased with the location. Value: This hotel was a great deal for 120/EUR a night. I would be happy to pay up to 150/EUR a night for the combination of charm and location. read more

I would've given 4 stars but no tea or coffee in any of the rooms and carpet could of used a good steam clean. Overall a clean okay boutique hotel. read more

I stayed in this boutique hotel while visiting Paris and I loved it. I'm a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe and I was so excited to see this hotel inspired by her. I was so cute and the staff was extremely polite. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is my key card for my room got demagnetized almost every day (probably my own fault), I had to wait about an hour for my room, and it wasn't that close to the action as I would have liked. Thankfully my friend that was staying with me was a native and had a car but other then those small minor things, I was very happy! read more

Stayed in this boutique hotel for 3 nights. Nice place within walking distance to Tour Eiffel, restaurants and across the street from the shopping mall. We walked several times to the tower and restaurants in the area. The room we stayed in was not big at all but we did have a terrace. The elevator is small as well. The ambience of the hotel was great and so was the staff. Would stay here again if the opportunity arose. No problems to report.
