The nursery refunded my money, but there was no apology or clear explanation. A worker mumbled something about a policy against delayed pickups, which was frustrating to hear only after the tree was gone. The experience felt inconsistent because, six months earlier, I had been unable to buy a kumquat tree after finding that the available trees were marked as sold. I understand that businesses have policies, but customers should be told about them clearly before making a purchase. Although I did receive a refund, the way the matter was handled has changed where I plan to shop. I'll be taking my business to other nurseries in the future.

Great spot! Was looking for some small white rock and small lava rock for a planter I just built…read more The yard is kind of small but it's organized down to a science! They have literally everything contractors could possibly need from sand, P gravel, stone, rocks, brick, decorative concrete pavers, large landscape boulders, mortar, everything. I didn't need much, as my planter is only about 7' by 2' max, and I was afraid that maybe they didn't do small sales - but they did and I was able to fill 2 5 gal buckets when what I needed :) I was able to find small/ medium white rocks and also brown lava rocks. The Only thing they don't have is small black lava rock but they do have that in a medium size :) The younger guy that works there also offered to help me get my stone together. Chivalry is not dead folks LOL! So that was appreciated. I don't know what I was thinking, by showing up without a shovel, but they let me use one of theirs.

Martinez Nursery is gigantic! It's one of those huge nurseries tucked underneath a bunch of super…read moretall power lines, and you could easily spend a couple hours here just wandering around to see what interesting plants you can find. They have everything from succulents to indoor and outdoor plants, with a ton to look through. We ended up leaving with a super cute sensitive plant that my daughter found absolutely fascinating lol. I couldn't believe they had something this fun just sitting among their huge selection of plants. The employee helping us was also really friendly and helpful whenever we had questions while browsing. We happened to visit when they were having a sale on succulents, which made the prices even better. This would be a great place to check out if you're looking for some new plants or planning to redo parts of your yard.

I have to say I came in here this morning for a very basic item. Face masks. I asked an older…read moregentleman when I first walked in who told me they were (waving his hand) over there ahead with paint. Paint, was not ahead. It to the left some aisles. I asked two individuals who were walking together chatting what area of paint the masks were. "End of the aisle" and also pointed. I searched and I only found respirator type masks. I went back to the desk in the paint area and asked if they had basic face masks and was again responded to with a point in a general direction and told to check cleaning supplies. At this point I found nothing, and took the two boxes of respirator masks I grabbed and headed to check out. Thats the only time someone was actually willing to help me. Hilda walked over with me back to the paint area to a couple aisles and we could not find them. Headed back to checkout and got what I was able to find as I had an immediate need for my warehouse. In a store with more workers than customers, with the exception of Hilda, not a single person was interested in helping.

The two lovely owners were super helpful and patient with explaining to us on how to care for this gorgeous $35 baby ficus tree we got. They gave us a ton of tips and advice as we had told them that we have no experience at all and hope this baby ficus will last a long time with us! We noticed they dont have an official parking lot. There is a very small section right at the front, immediately after you turn in, and thats where you can park. There looks to be a drive down but a clear sign that says no parking. So definitely hope luck is with you for parking!

We visited Hacienda Growers today and loved the plants as much as we loved the experience. I called…read moreahead to see if we could swing by with our dog and they let us know he was welcome. We spoke with Gene during the call about what we were looking for specifically and he had some ideas. When we arrived Gene showed us the options he thought we might like for an indoor tree. After looking around the entire nursery we ended up getting one of the options he suggested. It is on reserve for two weeks while the tree is uprooted and in the meanwhile I will be looking for a beauty pot with the suggested dimensions. Gene was super helpful and friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable and our dog loved him. We would absolutely return and purchase more items in the future.

A few I can identify were Pothos, snake plants, "string of" plants and air plants. I have been looking for air plants but I always found them to be overpriced. Not here. Large xerographica was my purchase and my kids got smaller air plants. The outdoor side area might look smallish at first but it holds a lot of plant treasures. Some I've nerves seen elsewhere. Stop in before going to the other garden centers and I'm sure you won't leave empty handed. You can call ahead if you're looking for something specific. I think it's adorable. I'll be stopping by again once we get around to planting outdoors/landscaping.

My husband and I are currently remodeling our bathroom, so we stopped by Floor and Decor to pick…read moreout tiles for our shower. We originally went to the Downey location, but they didn't have everything we needed. Since we were already heading to Fullerton for lunch, we decided to check out this location instead. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by America, and she made the entire experience so much easier. She helped us calculate our measurements and figure out exactly how many boxes of each tile we needed. On top of that, she took the time to help us choose the right grout and rebar color to match everything. I really appreciated how attentive and helpful she was throughout the process. I have never experienced that level of customer service at Floor and Decor before. She truly made a difference in our visit.

Me and my husband had a great interaction with the lady who helped us with our tiles. However, when…read moremy contractor went to get the tile and grout that we ordered, they gave them the wrong grout color. I was so upset. My contractor's people already laid down the grout and Floor and Decor wouldn't pay for the labor to redo the grout. Instead they gave us a seal with the correct color to try to make it right. However when my contractor's people put it down, it just didn't have the same effect as grout. Because we couldn't afford the labor for them to redo the grout, we just have to live with the discoloration of the grout. On top of that, the tile that we chose had odd pieces to them that looked stained. You really don't know what things would look like until you purchase it. And of course I wasn't home to supervise their work, because I had a job to go to pay for all the work that didn't turn out the way I expected. Needless to say, I suggest you go to Lowe's or Home Depot for tiles because they actually are a little bit more affordable. Floor and Decor as actually expensive.
