I had peeked into Artroom several times finally last year I signed up for a class - the format was really nice ( adult oil ) first weeks all newbies were given a beginners project and Linda walked us through it in detail sharing wonderful tips that I did not even get from Valencia professors - no offense - most importantly her expertise in teaching and reading the class is incredible - she knows each student their capabilities strengths individually and coaches accordingly - giving honest constructive feedback in a very warm manner. People joke that it is a lot cheaper than therapy and works even better. After the initial project everyone works on a project they want and Linda coaches everyone individually on their projects finding bringing resources - recommending references. It is a group class so this level of individualism surprised me in a good way. My only regret is that I did not find artroom sooner

We did not bring socks so we had to buy them there for $2.50, so for around $18, we were able to go in with our child for 2 hours. 2 adults are free with one child's admission price. I feel like socks should've been included, but you are allowed to bring in your own from home and they don't have to be grip bottom socks. You are given a colored armband that indicates the time you need to leave. 4 stars because there were a lot of coin operated rides/games/machines to play with, however some of them were out of order (carousel, VR game) or were pay to play (air hockey, and another car type of vehicle). The decor and theming was impressive and there were two areas in the back where they had set up for parties that were not happening at the time of our visit. I liked how each set up for the parties came with huge balloon garland that color coordinated with the theme. A thunderstorm rolled through the area while we were there, and it was a nice reminder of why we chose an indoor activity to enjoy today. We spent an hour and 45 minutes there before we had to go, and of course our kids were reluctant to leave! I was also able to capture my friend's baby standing and walking while pushing a baby doll stroller which was very exciting! I think she had a few other instructors or helped but for the most part, she did everything by herself. When we first arrived, the kids got to run around a bit and play with all the equipment. They had tons of play mats scattered around the room, a small ball pit, rings, parallel bars, high bars, zip lining, and a few other small kids activities. Our group had kids that varied in ages from 2-16 years old. Many of the parents, super young and the older kids were just hanging around watching the other kids play. The area is spacious and clean. Nikki would gather the kids to do different activities such as zip lining, parachute and tumbling. Then she would allow them a break in between and let them go play on their own. Once the pizza arrived, the kids got to go into the birthday room and eat and drink. They had enough pizza for some of the parents too. Then kids went to play and we gathered the kids to sing happy birthday and cut the cake. I think with the party, you invite the guests and bring a cake. They take care of everything else! Our kids had a blast and everything was well organized. Even the parents had a good time. At one point, our husbands were hanging out in the small ball pit. Haha. Mats are beginning to peel up and floor and walls are starting to show their age. Our kids really enjoyed the classes. The coaches do a great job of encouraging the kiddos and helping them along the way. In the meantime younger classes parents are participating with the kids. Older classes are independent. They change the courses every week so you don't have the same class over again. Classes during the week aren't too busy but weekends are slammed! The memberships are a little pricey but we appreciate the structure, confidence and discipline it instills.
