She listened to my concerns and provided excellent ideas and things I could do, she even went to stores and took pictures of things I could install all before I signed with her. I was completely blown away with what she did to our place. There were many times I wondered if I even wanted to sell it anymore lol. I am planning to use her to upgrade our current home, she is truly a visionary!

I get it, you're a designer or something in the creative field, you have a good eye for design, or your best friend was once an interior designer, etc. All the above applied to me and I thought how hard could it be? IT... IS... SUPER HARD and more so, TIME CONSUMING! Unless you have a warehouse full of beautiful candles, vases, wall art and furniture you are not using, you'll need to buy, source, borrow or steal all these things to make your cold, empty shell of a house a home. Liana and her amaaaaaazing team did this for us. A consummate professional with an impeccable eye for all things beautiful, Liana pulled together the perfect look for our house. By the time she was done, it exuded warmth, character and style. We considered a few other staging companies before we decided to hire Stage of Mind but I knew it was going to be Liana after meeting her in person. She came to the house, took photos of the space and provided us a quote within a couple of days. She was super easy to work with, her pricing was very competitive, scheduling was a breeze and her team did an incredible job staging and de-staging the house without leaving a mess or a speck of damage to the property. Last but not least, the house sold for much more than our asking price which we 100% attribute to the magic Liana and her team sprinkled on the property. To say hiring Stage of Mind was well worth the investment would be an understatement. I've already referred several friends and neighbors to Liana and will continue to do so!

We consulted Lisa once we had already embarked on the project although I wish we had done it sooner. From the beginning, Lisa made us feel welcome and comfortable even though this was not a million dollar project. We appreciated her positive attitude and generous spirit. She provided key input on layout, design and materials as well as expert vendor recommendations for window treatments, closet solutions, lighting, tiles, fixtures, wall coverings, furniture and decor. Her rates were fair and she was always mindful of our budget and time constraints when recommending ideas and solutions. Lisa took time to understand our aesthetic preferences. She worked tirelessly to make sure that the contractor/ vendors delivered high quality results and on time. When we had a small issue with the closet vendor, she immediately escalated it and made sure that the work was completed to our satisfaction. Her thoughtful recommendations and painstaking attention to detail were critical in delivering results which are beautiful, functional, and harmonize well with the rest of the house. Special kudos to her for the kids bedroom, bathroom and powder room- they are stunning thanks to her vision and selection of paint colors, wallpaper and / materials. Finally, we had a lot of fun working with Lisa. Her high energy, enthusiasm and sense of humor took a lot of the stress out of remodeling and made us feel good throughout the process. We really appreciated the opportunity to work with Lisa and hope we get to collaborate again with her in the future

She understands my needs, she is inventive with her ideas, and she is always thinking about ways she can bring my dreams to life in my home. If you're doing a restoration in a protected area of Pasadena she knows how to get things set up so that the local building department process is quick and efficient. If you want to add modern furniture to your 20's craftsman she can handle that too. If you're interviewing for design, architectural help, space planning, interior design, or native landscaping you should include Cynthia in your interviews!

It was a bare bones, kind of sad place. A friend recommended Cynthia to us and she came over. I have very little sense of design and no idea of color. My wife and I disagree about art and it's purpose in the house so, we were at a standstill. Trouble is, the house is 2 stories and needs character. Cynthia whipped up a design that we have been following for a year. We're not yet to the place where it's exactly to her specs but it's on its way and it looks better and better every day. I would say her specialty is converting a boring space to a vibrant and exciting one, but that's just one of the things she does great. The other is keeping the homeowner at ease, listening to their likes and dislikes and designing to THEIR tastes. Not her own. Occasionally she manages to sneak a preference in here and there but she always does it with care and makes you feel like you came up with it all on your own. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made.
