From start to finish Jody and her team were wonderful to work with--they were highly knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive, and took the time to make sure everything was designed and completed to a high standard. This project is something we'd been wanting to do for years, and it came out better than we could have imagined! We had a lot of different goals for what's a fairly small front yard with quite a bit of shade: we wanted an attractive design that would reduce water use and maintenance needs, support pollinators throughout the full growing season, create a firebreak near the house, have a nice space for our kids to enjoy, and add some edible plants/berries/herbs if possible. Wild Heritage went above and beyond in delivering on all of these criteria, and it's a strong testament to their experience, passion, and deep knowledge of landscape design, sustainable planting, water management, and construction. Our new front yard has quickly become a favorite place for our whole family to spend time, and our kids love running around the path, sitting on the rocks, watching bumblebees and ladybugs, and admiring each new flower that blooms. Our 6-year-old son now asks to go outside with us every night to read on the patio and is beyond excited to pick strawberries, gooseberries, honeyberries, and cherries as the plants grow and mature. And thanks to the high-quality soil, customized drip irrigation system, and detailed instructions Wild Heritage provided, the plants are already growing like crazy just a few short weeks after being planted. We've already gotten tons of compliments from our neighbors (both on our street and some that have been driving by), and we can't wait to see how our garden grows and changes over the coming years. What a *HUGE RELIEF* it was to find Marcos & Orlando of M Brothers Services! They were a lifesaver…read morefor me, in October, after I wasted 40-billable hours of my time on two other fence & gate companies (see those two reviews), for the first design-oriented home improvement project on my house, only for it to be a huge let-down & time-suck, and my being left & abandoned by the first company with a beautiful, unstained fence - not at all ready for winter/snow &/or spring/rain, and with a gate that was not HOA-compliant. Enter Marcos & Orlando - to save the day! And save me from my nightmare HOA. ;) I called Marcos & Orlando in a panic on Mon 10/23/23 ~4pm, and they were even willing to come rescue me that night, while working in Commerce City, if I had insisted. They are that loyal & hard-work oriented. Once we talked the job through, I realized what the second company had told me, about it only taking a couple/few hours to stain the gate & fence was untrue, and really this was an all day, or at least an all morning, job. Luckily, Marcos & Orlando were free the next day, Tue 10/24/23, so they planned to arrive first thing at my home in Denver from their home-base in Brighton. They gave me an ETA that evening, and met it, checking in with me via text the next morning, arriving within their time window, on time. I also love that they wanted to schedule an in-person consultation - to take measurements - with me, before doing the work, initially, when they replied to my Yelp project, as they were the first - and only - of all three companies, to ask me for measurements, and offer to assess the job & give me an in-person estimate, before beginning the work. Had the first company done this, like I'd hoped & wanted, we never would've encountered so many issues, in the first place. They completed the job in something like roughly 6-hours, proving the second company also didn't estimate time any better than the first, so had they arrived the day before I hired Marcos & Orlando, we would've ran out of daylight. Luckily, with M Brothers, they completed the job by early/mid afternoon, with enough time for me to QA it, as we made final touch-ups. They also remembered to unhook my hose, after using it, which was very considerate, which the first company failed to do, even after I asked. And they thoughtfully parked on the street - vs. in the alley / fire lane - like some of my neighbors' contractors do / have done, which blocks me in & prevents me from using/leaving my garage, or my boyfriend from entering/parking in my garage. This proves, once again, how conscientious, thoughtful, considerate, and detail-oriented Marcos & Orlando are, and what a pleasure they are with whom to do business. In addition to all the above, they also came back again the next day, on Wed 10/24/23, to again save my day - this time from the HOA! A very nosy neighbor had reported my gate to the HOA, and I was made aware of new rules & regulations that my HOA had not published/shared on their iOS version of their website, so I learned late in the day on Tue 10/23/23 that my new gate was not HOA compliant. I shared the HOA rules & regulations with Marcos & Orlando, we made a plan for them to acquire the new materials, and they returned the next day to fix the gate, and make it compliant. I haven't been this happy with a contracting company for awhile, after owning this house, so I will definitely be saving their name & number, to hire them again, when I have more work in their areas of expertise! Moving forward to 2022, I contracted with System Pavers, again, to completely renovate my backyard, side yards, tear out the front porch, concrete sidewalk, and borders along the driveway, which they replaced with pavers. And what a fabulous and impressive job they did! Jon Orr, Design Consultant, Jesus Rivera, Project Manager, the paver contractor, Julio & his crew, Lester, Turf contractor, were outstanding in their professionalism, courtesy, and craftmanship /skills of the trade. I spent over two hours with Jon in their Design Center and his professional demeanor, customer service skills, and great personality in providing a memorable experience in my goal to make my ultimate landscaping dream come to life, with renderings and walking through the design center, explaining the different pavers, and offering options which was a wonderful experience. Project Manager, Jesus Rivera, kept me updated on every action, completion and engaged me when needed, with questions or confirmations. They meticulously planned electrician work, delivery of inventory and kept me posted along the way. In the backyard, I contracted for pavers, mow trims, a beautiful waterfall, river rock, and AstroTurf. In the front yard, they contracted for pavers, which matched my patio pavers, mow trims, another beautiful waterfall, river rock, and Astroturf to replace my front lawn. I am so impressed with this company and the employees. Anytime I reached out to Jon, Jesus, or Julio via phone or text, their response was immediate, and either they immediately resolved my issue or presented several solutions/options to choose from. I have received numerous compliments from my neighbors and have highly recommended and will continue to recommend System Pavers for design and landscaping. The only suggestion I have is for the owners of System Pavers, which is a company based out of California. Please consider the four seasons we have in Colorado when scheduling and completing projects. My project which was estimated to take 2-3 weeks ended up taking two months due to winter weather in Colorado. I got to tell you, seeing the crew out working in the low 20-30-degree weather was concerning. The ground was too hard to dig, covered in snow, and presented a challenge to complete the project promptly. The crew worked tirelessly to complete this project. Jesus continuously checked in with me, concerned about the project length, which honestly, I was perfectly fine with the extended time. However, other customers might not, especially if they have vacation plans, etc. In closing, I will say I am already planning my next project, in replacing my concrete driveway, and guess who I will be contracting?
