The Bellingham Farmers Market occurs on Saturdays, so when I visited, I made my way over there an hour after it opened, and it was already packed! People get here early for the market even in the rain! I was impressed to see the large crowds with the wet weather, but it didn't stop us, Washingtonians. It really reminded me of a community event that many of the locals spend time at on their Saturday mornings - love that. The market takes place in downtown Bellingham, and has an outdoor area, along with a large indoor space where the market staff have a booth, selling their merchandise. It's also a dog-friendly market, so expect to see a lot of furry friends.
