I called to get flowers sent to my grandma who was in the hospital. I was very emotional about it while talking to the employee and I don't know if it was the owner I spoke to or not but whomever it was said just the right things. She was incredibly friendly, genuine and sympathetic. I was in California so I was trusting her to make my grandma a beautiful arrangement. The employee went above and beyond when my grandma got out of the hospital the next morning and the order had to be redirected. Poorest excuse for customer service I've ever seen. Apparently Nadia skipped hospitality classes.

I couldn't believe how hard it was (from out of state) to call just a local shop in Bellingham.. Everything was connected to an impersonal 800 number...But I called this shop, after finding them online, and was THRILLED that they were not taking online orders...Yay!!! I got to talk to someone local..... I explained that the flowersI had originally wanted to send, no one could make...I guess no one in WA had the little aparatus to make the White Carnation Doggies i wanted to send...SoI explained that to the lady here at all About Flowers , and although she too did not have the thingy to make the doggie, she said she would make something extra special...using the color choices thatI really wanted, and the vase I really wanted...you know, not just a boring clear vase....Oh...she exceeded my expectations!.... My friend called me in tears and said that it was the most beautiful arrangement she had ever received! Thank you for caring!! What do you get someone on their birthday who: A: Lives pretty dang far away B: Does not say specifically what they want, or that they need anything C: Tell you not to spend any money on them or they will get mad D: All of the above Normally, me and my broke wallet would say Happy Birthday and call it a day. But this being it was my sister's birthday I knew otherwise. I've found that as we get older shopping for certain people can be a bit challenging, thus brought me to what I would get my sister who has just about everything that could make you smile. And what better than to get someone something that they don't have every day or week for that matter (unless you're like me...) that just shows you care about them than flowers. Not wanting to tell my brother in law to be prepared for the delivery, I made the order through All About Flowers in a wee bit short of 5 minutes. Honestly, it was painless. My sister's cats do not do well with new things, this including anything green and belongs outdoors so I opted for a more delicate bouquet and sent in the order. The order was processed quickly and the flowers delivered on her birthday in the afternoon. From what she says they are beautiful and from how painless the order went I am impressed and now know of a reliable source to order flowers from in the future. The first thing they should do is head over WCC and take a 101 on customer service and retention. Talking down to customers, rudely with condescending manners isn't a good start when trying to place an order. I give this place a 0. My mother tried to buy a gift certificate for me over the phone (she lives in Detroit) and had the rudest service, and was told she could not do so, she ended up hanging up on the women. I went in to buy flowers, the women looked at me and looked away, the flowers were in horrible shape, I walked out. My boyfriend went in and was treated poorly. All the three of us wanted was to do local business, and we were all treated like crap, all with in the same week. I made this account just so I could leave a wonderful review for All About Flowers. I wanted to have the "Simple Perfection" bouquet delivered to my girlfriend at work. Turns out she got sent home sick before the flowers arrived, but luckily I still had time to call. I was able to change the address to home and the florist asked me if she could add a little artistic flare to make it look even nicer without charge. I even got to see my girlfriends reaction when they arrived. All of the flowers are absolutely perfect, I've never seen anything like it. My girlfriend couldn't be happier. They are so surreal they almost look fake. She's been showing her friends and she loves that the whole room smells like lilies. Very poor customer service. Will never order from them again. They made me want to cancel my order, but since the delivery was set for the next day, I didn't have another option. Steer clear and look for a different florist. They don't even cover all of Whatcom County for delivery, while many of the other florists have no problem delivering outside Bellingham, Fairhaven and Ferndale, so take the time to look at other options. Never been treated like garbage by any other florist in Bellingham either. read more

Arrangements are a hit and miss, and flowers aren't fresh. I had flowers delivered several times from All About Flowers and my gerber daisies, which are the longer-lived flowers, developed a sad frown and died within 2 days. The rest of the boquet (roses, stargazer lilies, etc) died within 4 days. Boquets arranged by a good florist should last a minimum of a week before the slightest hint of a frown on any flower. The first time I received flowers from this place the arrangement looked like it was put together by a 10 year old with no effort whatsover, they too died within several days. Needless to say my husband will no longer use this florist. read more

Called to get some daisies delivered to my wife for our anniversary. I was talked to with condescension because I didn't know what kind of daisy....Like I know? How about a the yellow or white ones? Then asked for same day delivery, and was told that shes had orders for days in advance and those need to go out first, but could get it there by the end of the day. I asked what time that was...and was told...."the end of the day". Wow. Then stated it would be between 1 and 3. So I said I would call her back, and she gave a very attitudy goodby. I called my wife to make sure she would still be there at that time. Then called the flower shop again to make the order and I was sent to VM. Called 5 minutes later and when she answered, she LIED about having to go into a funeral consultation. I asked if she was saying that she couldn't take my order, and she said she hoped I would find someone to help me elsewhere. To this, I knew that the plain and simple truth was that she didn't want my business, and I told here "you just plain don't want my business...its very obvious" and hung up. SHE CALLED BACK RIGHT AWAY...and said "Your right, I don't want your business". This chick is nuts. read more
