As a young man that doesnt know much about flowers, Im so so glad that I picked this shop as the place to buy some for the first time. Lady was very very sweet and guided me through arranging a nice bouquet for my significant other. Pricing is good, and she will make something work for you with nearly any budget. Also, the lilies were absolutely gorgeous once they bloomed. Me and my lover were very happy with our purchase :) read more

A New Leaf Flower Shoppe has been here since at least 1999 when they provided flowers for my wedding. They were impeccable. The flowers were fresh and the service was perfect. Over the years I have continued to use this sweet local company and recommend it over the others I have occasionally used. I always come back to them because they are simply the best in Whatcom County. read more

A New Leaf Flower Shoppe - Beautiful Birthday arrangement - Florists Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

A New Leaf has yet to ever let me down! It was an hour before a friend's birthday lunch and I felt weird showing up empty handed, so I called a new leaf and asked if they could whip something up in the hour and they did great! They asked my price point and the occasion, and I also let them know my friend loves fall, so by the time I arrived, they had put together a perfect fall bouquet, complete with some of the most amazing lilies I had ever smelled! read more

Everyone working at A New Leaf is so sweet! I always walk by and love seeing all the flowers they have on display outside. It truly brightens up downtown! I decided to buy some sunflowers for my kitchen table. They are $3/each, which I know I could get cheaper somewhere else, but we're about supporting local here. The woman offered to add some greenery to it, which she didn't charge me for, and beautifully wrapped them up for me, with a ribbon! It was such a sweet touch and really shows how they appreciate flowers and plants here. The sunflowers wrapped up were so cute I didn't want to unwrap them to put them in water! I would definitely recommend here to anyone. Also, it smells AMAZING inside! read more

Celebrating our 19th anniversary in separate cities, my husband could not find a florist who was able to deliver. Knowing a friend who works at New Leaf, he called and it was no problem at all for a same day delivery. I received the most gorgeous, artistic bouquet of flowers I have ever received. Shades of deep purples to light salmon, the bouquet looks more beautiful on the second day. Thank you New Leaf for making an anniversary spent apart, feel special. read more

Trish is such a warm individual to work with. I explained to her exactly what I was hoping for and she executed it perfectly. I am so impressed by the level of customer service and the quality of work. Will be using her services from here on out. Update: My mom called me an hour after she received her bouquet and said that it was so amazing that every time she left the room, she took it with her so she wouldn't miss it's loveliness. Slam dunk for A New Leaf Shoppe!!! read more

I live in Southern California and found this shop on Yelp. I was looking for a florist to send flowers for an uncle's funeral. When I called I had no idea what exactly to ask for, but the lady I spoke with was so kind, patient, and helpful. She helped to guide me in the exact direction we had in mind, an easel with a gorgeous spray of blue, yellow, and white flowers. She asked about the funeral home, but i only knew the name of the church. She said she would make some calls and our arrangement was on display the night before, all because of the lady that went the extra mile. It was much more beautiful than we even could have hoped. I am so grateful for her expertise and knowledge. The flowers were priced at a great value for amazing quality. read more

When my sister started her last and greatest adventure this October the funeral home we chose recommended a florist that I wasn't very impressed with so I brought up YELP and found A New Leaf Flower Shoppe. I chose them based on reviews and photos and I am so glad that I did! I told Trish that my sisters favorite flower is a Sterling Rose, her favorite color is purple, and I wanted something to sit around her cremation box at the service. A New Leaf contacted the funeral home for a photo of the stained glass box and proceeded to create the most perfect & beautiful wreath arrangement I've ever seen. Not even remotely funereal, which my sister would have loved and appreciated. I also asked for small plants and succulents for attendees to take home and New Leaf provided a great variety of healthy, glossy plants and they were exactly what I had in mind. Trish and her employees made a hard task very easy and they were kind and sympathetic, my sisters friend thought the wreath beautiful and loved the plants, and the price was half of what I would've paid elsewhere. (For gauging the size of the wreath the dimensions of her urn are: Height: 5.8", Width: 9.8", Depth: 7.9". If the color on the photos is a bit of a weird yellow color; I was told the lighting is set to help the living impaired look more alive!) Thank you A New Leaf Flower Shoppe! read more

I am from Kansas and wanted to send my Western graduate some flowers for graduation. All I knew was that I wanted to include sunflowers. She honored my wishes, made multiple suggestions, and the shop created an absolutely beautiful reasonably priced arrangement. The communication in setting up the arrangement, the delivery, and follow-up was top-notch. You just don't experience customer service like what Trish provided. This place is a gem and is highly recommended! Sorry - the pic is sideways and I can't fix it. Believe me, the arrangement was gorgeous!! read more

So helpful in suggesting flower bouquet for a patient in local hospital. Delivered same day. Thank you New Leaf!

Whenever I need a bouquet, I go here. I tell them my budget and specific requests/preferences, if any, and they always make a beautiful bouquet. They listen to you and do everything they can to make it a great experience. It's not easy to find a local florist like this any more. I often bring a bouquet on an airplane. They pick flowers that are not too fragile, make it smaller, and even teach me how to wrap it again when I have to put the flowers in a vase until I leave for the airport. I stopped by here last week to get another bouquet for an airplane ride. I spoke with them several minutes, and they convinced me to pick up a bouquet at my destination because it was too hot. So, it's clear to me that they care about the customers rather than just making sales. On top of it, their prices are very reasonable. If you need flowers in Bellingham, I highly recommend that you give A New Leaf Flower a try! ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my reviews. This last week I contact this local business in Bellingham to order a flower arrangement for my daughter's birthday. Let's talk customer service: While I originally wanted the flowers delivered to my daughter's apartment, they were unable to get in, instead of giving up they called me and when I told them she was at work, they offered to deliver the arrangement to her at work. That is customer service. Secondly, I happened to be where my daughter works as we decided to surprise her at work with a gift back and where able to see the arrangement they prepare, needless to say, absolutely amazing. Had it not been my daughters birthday, my wife would have take the arrangement home with us. If you want to get your money's worth, call a florist like a New Leaf and support a local business. Well Done, you have a customer for life.. read more

We ordered a bouquet and boutonnière for our wedding from A New Leaf. Trish was incredibly responsive and timely, using images of bouquets sourced from our wedding Pinterest board to make two spectacular arrangements. Further, when my husband stopped by to check in on the arrangements with his dog Scooter, who was to be the ringbearer for our wedding, Trish offered to create a complimentary corsage for him to match us! The results were incredible, and really made our day all the more special. Thank you Trish! read more

Trish and her team are AWESOME! I recently got married on Lummi Island and reached out to Trish about doing the flowers for my wedding after reading some great Yelp reviews. Trish and her team did not disappoint! I recently relocated to Seattle so and needed to manage all wedding details remotely. Trish was very responsive via email and over the phone which is always such a relief for any bride during wedding planning...let alone a bride whose entire wedding was being planned sight-unseen. I don't know anything about flowers and simply sent her a couple ideas of things I liked from Pinterest and, boy, did she ever deliver! I ordered my bouquet, two mother's corsages, and four men's boutonnieres - every single one was stunning! I like flowers but I'm not the kind of girl to go ga-ga over some stems.....I was absolutely enamored with my bouquet! Well done Trish and team - thank you so very much!! read more

My son and daughter-in-law sent me flowers for Christmas. It was and is still the most beautiful arrangement I've ever seen. It was delivered to me all the way out in Sudden Valley. It's now a week old and still as fresh as the day it was delivered. Four of the lilies have opened to their spectacular fullness. Tulips, snapdragons are all opening. It's like a new gorgeous bouquet every day because the flowers are opening slowly and in sequence. There are still two more lilies waiting to open. When I reported to my d-i-l how incredibly beautiful these flowers are, she said the "lady" she spoke to on the phone was really "nice". All around, I'd say this is the best flower shop(pe) in the region. You will get the freshest flowers and a stunning and artful arrangement in the European style...my favorite style!! read more

A New Leaf Flower Shoppe - Christmas 2020 - Florists Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

Arrangements for wedding included flowers from three different sources around Bellingham. A New Leaf was the only one claiming to be full time full service florist. Both of the others were Floral department of food/ merchandise stores. The bill from New Leaf was highest, the flowers, least satisfactory, limp and far from fresh. We contacted New Leaf, spoke with one of the clerks, but the promise of a return call from the owner never happened. Situation is particularly disappointing, since New Leaf was recommended. Several layers thick. read more

This is the third arrangement A New Leaf Flower has done for me. The first two met my expectations and were lovely. Today's bouquet greatly exceeded expectations and is probably the most lovely and creative I've seen arranged in my beautiful vase. Helpful staff who listened to my "want" list for the arrangement, and my price range. I gave her some latitude on price, which she didn't use; nice. I highly recommend this gem of a flower shop. read more

I am extremely grateful to A New Leaf for turning our Valentine's day around. I ordered a Valentine bouquet for my wife over the phone when I was in Seattle and what arrived was not quite what I had intended. A New Leaf responded to my email and offered to make it right that very same evening. They didn't have to fix it so well, or so quickly, but they did. I am really amazed that a flower shop will care about their customers in the extraordinary manner that we were cared for. From my wife and myself, from our home to yours at A New Leaf, thank you for going above and beyond for your customers and please know you made a very positive result for us on this special day. Thank you so much! read more

They have very lovely plants and can often do a wonderful bouquet but it's quite clear that they are more interested in big orders for weddings or events then they are in taking care of small individual orders. A bouquet here can be quite expensive and when they are completely out of anything lovely they will still try and push something kind of sad and ugly, rather than just admiring that they cannot help you. I think, too, that if you don't share the taste of the proprietor then you are pretty much going to get something you don't like or get something ugly since she thinks you have no taste at all. read more

I had a perfect customer experience at A New Leaf. I was surprised to find out it was a friends birthday and I was meeting her for dinner that evening after work. Luckily, A New Leaf is located downtown, and they're open until 5:30pm so I was able to swoop in here between work and dinner. The shopkeeper was AWESOME: extremely friendly and creative, and as she constructed an awesome bouquet, she talked about some of the more exotic flowers there in the shop. I don't know much about flower shops, but this one is literally perfect: conveniently located, convenient hours, friendly & knowledgeable staff, traditional and exotic flowers, affordable and locally owned. Never again will I hastily buy a starbucks gift card as a birthday gift! read more

TRish is AMAZING! My mother in law turned 70 yesterday, and I needed something spectacular. I'm a last minute kind of gal, but Trish told me not to worry, the flowers would be delivered by the afternoon. And what an arrangement! Trish asked what colors and scents Nana liked, and then she went wild. It may be the most gorgeous arrangement I've ever seen (on Skype). JQ's is clearly the best in Bellingham for a "bunch" on the go. You cannot beat the location, staff, or selection. The owner has turned the tiny and awkward space into a user friendly shop complete with by-the-stem buckets or a willing staff ready to take your order and deliver a giant JQ creation---usually within the same day. The PRICES are crazy cheap, the final product is super classy and clean. Need flowers that say: "Sorry I slept with your best friend." or "I was dumb, I was drunk, let me beg forgiveness over chocolate fondue at my place?" Then....JQ's is for you. I love it so much I canceled my in house account at the "other" B-ham florist, and took all my business under one tiny roof. read more

I consulted yelp of course when looking for a local florist, and wow was I thoroughly impressed. A simple walk-in and 10 minutes later I had a stunning bouquet for my friend. Trish used the colors I requested, and the arrangement was gorgeous and wrapped beautifully. The service was so kind and warm, I felt more like an old friend than a customer. What a great find and great value too! Support your local businesses and go here for all your floral needs, you will not be disappointed! read more

We recently had the privilege of having Trish provide flowers for our wedding in September in Vancouver BC. We gave Trish examples of arrangements we were interested in, pictures of our venue, and wedding party attire. We were completely amazed with what she put together with our vision and budget. Trish was great at communicating with us leading up to our big day. She worked with our budget and her prices were comparable. But the final product you cannot compare. She cares about her work and it shows. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the flower arrangement for your significant other for gestures that you care and for people looking to flowers to make their wedding day that much more special. The wonderful people at "A New Leaf" Flower Shop in Bellingham are amazing! Not only did they return an email to me ON MOTHER'S DAY when we couldn't make it to see my mother-in-law because of illness (responding to a customer they had never met), but they saved the day by creating a beautiful arrangement for my mother-in-law, first thing Monday morning, and made sure it was delivered to her bridge party, at the Bellingham County Club, the very next morning, by 12:00! I am confident these people could handle anything! Winnie was thrilled, I was thrilled, and my husband was very happy to see it didn't break the bank! What a pleasure to work with! This shop is amazing. The most friendly and sweet ladies you will ever meet. They did such a great job on an arrangement for me last year, that when I needed a bouquet for my Halloween wedding they were the only place I went. They looked at my example pic, and made my bouquet even cooler and more unique. They gave my son a free flower while I was ordering, and Trish even made my groom a boutineer for no extra charge!
