Last weekend, we discovered a local artisan fair featuring organic food, fresh produce, handmade crafts, and other unique finds. The fair takes place in the first Saturday of each month through January 2027, making it a great place to shop for unique holiday gifts and local products. Ferns, flowering plants for indoor and outdoor, herbs, succulents, annuals, perennials, even orchids...the selection may vary from Saturday to Saturday, but the health and quality of the plants are second to none. The prices? Easily beating those at local nurseries and big box stores. (Actually, we did find Boston Fern at a local grocer for one dollar less, but of lesser quality, in our honest opinions). And if the plants offered are not enough of an inducement, just ask Maria's advice for growing and maintenance of plants. Don't be misled by her down home, and sometimes brassy personality. She is only at this location on Saturday mornings, and all her plants fly by in just HOURS. I believe she sets up at 7am, and I've seen people waiting for her at that time. Usually by noon, most of her plants have already sold and you only get the not-so-pretty plants. All the plants I've purchased from her have been doing amazing and are pest free. Last time I visited she was only accepting cash, so I would recommend taking some bills in case she is still doing that. Highly recommending visiting her if you are looking for a new plant baby!

3.5 years ago, a former employee signed up for plant water services from Natura. We needed to close…read moreour offices at the end of last year, and Natura informed us that they want another 3 years of payments because their agreement says it auto-renews for another 3-year term. We shut down HVAC service, utilities, pest control, snack delivery, cleaning services, etc, all without trouble. Some of those contracts also had terms, but it was no problem. However, the *plant watering service* says they need 34 months of additional payments. At the time of auto-renew, the employee no longer worked at our company, and Natura made no attempt to confirm that we wanted another 3-year term. From what I can tell, we were not even getting a discount for a 3-year term; it was just something snuck into the contract. And who hires a lawyer to look closely at a plant watering service contract? We tried to wind things down amicably with Natura, but they continue to insist that we for 34 months of non-service. In my opinion, Natura is an unethical and immoral company.

I went back and informed them about the problem and they agreed that the shadow rock that was delivered was a bit bigger than advertised. I was assisted by Chelsea Aguilar who was very understanding and informed me that she would talk to the general manager and get back with me. The following morning she called and when I went in she said that they were willing to work with me. Long story short, I ended up getting the smaller 1" shadow rock at a discount and on top of that she waived the delivery fee. She turned out what could have been a bad experience into a great experience. We will definitely keep supporting this business and will recommend it to our friends. We had some questions so we visited the office and were helped immediately. They had some great ideas to share with us and suggested we walk the yard with one of their employees. And that's where we met Mateo, the yard manager. He was extremely helpful with great ideas about our project and took the time to walk us through some solid choices to consider. Service is decent, selection is quite varied in particular in bedding and dry goods. As someone else pointed out, you can get great discounts on food products but be sure to check the expiration dates on some of them! YMMV but for my dollar this is a discount chain worth visiting.
