I have been here a few times. What I like most is that I can customize my smoothie, and all the flavors are here to do that. I can also choose whether I want a nutritional or a fruit smoothie. Also, the service is always great. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to add-ons. For example, if I'm tired and need a little energy, they can explain to me which add-on I need to give me a boost. I like that because I don't always know which is best suited for me at that time. Plus, it's like they want to help, too. The last time I was there, I sat for a while relaxing because it's a pretty quiet place. Actually, that day I sat and talked to the staff about healthy options and they gave me some great pointers. So, in my opinion, the staff really makes this place. read more

I am definitely a fan of this place. I love to get a strawberry mango pineapple smoothie. The bathroom is clean, and the smoothies are sweet. The customer service can be a little on the rushed side when you come in 10 minutes before they close on Sunday. However, that is understandable. If you call your smoothie ahead of time your drink will be ready when you come in to pay. If you come in during the slow peak the cashiers are very friendly and ready to help. I also want to give the hint to make sure you watch how the cups are filled. On my last visit I had to ask for the remainder of the smoothie juice that was in the blender to be put in my cup because it was not filled all the way. Over the past few years I have supported this business many times..but honestly the owner is rude. She does not speak to me unless she is the one putting the smoothie together. Today, I ordered the Chocolate Elvis, as always. This time, I substituted regular milk for almond milk and got no frozen yogurt; they upcharged me a dollar. The principle of that is so messed up..I saved them money by not getting the frozen yogurt but they charged me extra for the almond milk. And once again, the owner just stood there seemingly irritated by my questions to the woman behind the counter. I guess different owners make their own rules..just would be nice to have consistency as other P.S. have not upcharged me for having an allergy. read more

The smoothies are pretty decent, but they are definitely lacking in customer service. Not nice at all, and the last time I visited the older lady seemed to have an attitude as a gentleman asked about the amount of protein would be in his smoothie. I have visited this location a few times and I must agree with everyone else, the people that work here aren't super bubbly and friendly so don't come in expecting that. The smoothies are made fairly quickly and they taste amazing!!! They are semi pricey but the ingredients are all natural. I like the two piece bikini which is bananas, strawberries, and skim milk. For a medium (which looks like a large) was about $5. Also, this place is American owned, yay! read more

I love this place! My favorite smoothie is the Leapin' Lizard, on the "Lite" menu. Strawberries and peaches can't go wrong! I also like grabbing a bag of the Sriracha & Honey kettle cooked chips too. If you have the SpotOn app, you can gain points where 2 "spots"/check-ins can earn you $1 off the 22oz or larger drink, which isn't bad for every other visit! I really do love their smoothies. Especially the fact that I can add leafy greens. My ONLY complaint would be that they open entirely too late. I, along with others, go to the gym very early and would love to be able to grab a smoothie afterwards, however, 9am is just too late. With Smoothie King opening up just a few hundred yards down the road, I really hope Planet Smoothie will reconsider their business hours. read more

I've come to this location more times than I can count because I love the smoothies. However, this particular time, it was my husband's birthday and he received a free smoothie via email. We showed it to the older woman behind the counter (who usually is very short with me and never smiles) and said which one he wanted. She then proceeded to tell us that they only take printed coupons. We figured we must have read the coupon wrong so we said we still wanted to get it anyway. My husband then asked one more time to make sure because that's what we were emailed. She just stared at us the whole time like we were stupid and repeated that they don't do that, it has to be paper. She made the smoothie, and we looked closer at the email, and it said you can redeem by printing it out or presenting the coupon on your mobile device. My husband told her that when we got to the register, and she rudely replied, "Well I don't know how to do that, so we take paper coupons," and stared at us. I visited this location on May 16, 2016 around 9 am and never in my life had I felt so violated and humiliated by an employee and a customer. All I wanted to order was large Road Runner smoothie when the employee, to what I believe to be an co-owner or brother to the owner of this franchise. The male employee asked me if I was sure I wanted to order the smoothie with the energy supplement. He then wanted me to stand up so he could look at me. I am currently nine months pregnant, however that was not his concerns. I simply told him to make the smoothie and I didn't wish to discuss my pregnancy with him. Low and behold, not even a minute went by when a male customer walked in staring at me as I sat on a stool waiting for my smoothie when this customer asked me twice if my baby was due this month. I wanted to ignore him but he was standing directly in front of me and my response was that was none of his damn business. This male customer kept talking as he walked away saying all he was doing was being polite and my response was no you're simply being nosy. Then all of sudden this customer went on a cursing tirade and threaten me and calling me names. While the male employee and another male customer just sat back and watched. I did what anyone person what would have done. I started to defend myself and curse at him back. He kept telling me to STFU and called me b****. I will never order anything from this location again in life. It is a travesty for grown men to watch another grown man verbally assault a pregnant woman who is minding their business and trying to buy a beverage. I hope my review my deter other women, pregnant or not from going into this franchise and risk being harassed. What is makes this encounter so terrible was the male employee knew this male customer and they preceded to engage in some sort of business conversation as I was leaving. I come here all the time after my workout at the gym and get the PB smoothie and it is so good OMGOSH. This place has something called spot on(Free app) where you can accumulate points and you can get discounts. Customer service isn't excellent but it is good,the staff is family oriented and the store is always nice and clean.
