This storage facility is in a great country setting with all new buildings. It has been open about…read morea year now and is run by a down to earth family. In the past I used another local storage facility that was close to the Pequest river and whenever it got flooded so did some of the units and the manager was hardly even around if you needed something. The fees here are reasonable and compared to others in the county it is by far better. Being a new business owner myself I needed a facility that I could access whenever I need it, being in the car & residential tinting business and there are cameras throughout. Surrounded by residential homes and corn fields it's a very safe location.

The second 40ft container he dropped it too close to the road and on the edge of a incline, so the doors won't shut. It was not until they were gone that we even saw where they dropped it. We had them delivered to our property in the Catskills. The last one delivered has been sitting for 6 months now with the doors open and everything getting inside it. He kept saying he would fix it and then after Covid he is saying too bad that he is not going to do anything. I am a business owner and under no circumstance would I ever screw over anyone. Never! he is a horrible Business man and I am going to make sure he is not able to do this to anyone else. This is just the beginning, Also found out that he is not supposed to be operating under the company in Washington, that most likely due to insurance lapse he is red flagged. That in it self is very disturbing! Please do not Deal with him at all. There are many more good business men who will be honorable.

Where to start. The security gate is almost never closed. When it snowed this winter it was…read moreimpossible to navigate the area let alone access your storage unit. I called in to begin my rental, went through the costs over phone and was told I needed to go in to sign paperwork and created my access code. When I got there I was told I needed to provide rental insurance for the unit and it would be $11/month. The rental insurance for my apartment is less than that. I opened my unit in December 2020. The policy to close your agreement and end billing was to notify the storage company 14 days before your next billing date. I went, in person because they don't return phone calls, and cancelled my unit in the specified time frame. The woman whose name I won't use gave me a hard time and told me that she would cancel the unit and not charge me but only if I went on and left her a glowing review... I wasn't going to leave any review because the only one I was going to leave was going to be negative based on my concerns listed at the beginning. After that interaction and the fact that I was then billed for the next month this company would get 0 stars from me if possible. Currently trying to dispute the charge with my card company now. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This company could not of been more accommodating or nicer. The person we dealt with was Barbara. She could of not been nicer and very prompt in returning calls, whether it was a week end or off hours. When they brought the unit as well as removed the unit, there is 0 damage to your property. They give you several calls to update you as to exactly when the unit will be removed. It is really cool to watch how a robot like piece of equipment takes it out. We had originally gone with PODS because they are the name brand you see all the commercials for. Unfortunately they failed to deliver our container on multiple occasions. We were running out of time with construction scheduled to start in two days. UNITS came to the rescue and was able to deliver a 16' container for the same price offered by PODS for a12' container. And they were able to deliver the same day. The container was clean and secure and it was delivered and placed with zero problems. It was picked up promptly when we were done. Would definitely use them again or recommend them for anyone else that needed on site storage.

The job estimate was 5-6 hours based on the my inventory and the job finished in 5. Eugene called the night before with an estimated start time, sent a text the morning of with a 30 minute warning, and arrived on time. My crew consisted on Eugene, Serge & Nazar. I did a walk through with Eugene upon arrival of the rooms and items that would be moved and to where at the new location. Upon arrival at my new home, we again walked through to ensure the team understood the labeling on the boxes and home layout. When in doubt, the team asked instead of just dumping boxes in the wrong place. Prior to leaving Eugene asked if I wanted anything moved to different rooms,and straightened out my area rug after the furniture was already placed on it. They carefully wrapped furniture and mattresses with their supplies at no additional charge prior to moving, and removed the wrap and trash from the new home. Bonus: Nothing broken, damaged or lost! These guys were polite, professional, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend and would hire them again.

Anyways, on the day of our move, we picked up the pull behind UHaul trailer from Home Self-Storage. The lady and gentleman in the office went above and beyond to help us out with our rental and make our moving experience much smoother than anticipated. I have never given a bad review before, but I felt compelled to make people aware…read more Long story short, I rented a unit here and set up auto pay. 7 months after I get a call asking about what unit I had and proceeded to fill them in with my info. My card wasn't charged after the 2nd month because the employee they had working there was scamming the place. They then decided to charge me for every unpaid month, which is fine, but then they decided that they wanted to charge me a late fee for every month along with a restart fee. I decided to talk to the owner and he didn't even want to hear what I had to say. He was completely rude, arrogant and blamed me for not making sure that I wasn't keeping up with transactions on my card. I own a business and don't have time to go through all my credit card transaction, hence why I set up auto pay. This man doesn't know how to run a business, doesn't know how to hire employees and doesn't know how to manage them. I do a lot of business with storage places across the North East due to my business and I have never had such a bad experience. They were close to locking my storage out for auction without me even knowing. Steer away from this place! There are so much better storage companies in the area. I will be contacting the better business bureau!

I…read morehave been paying for a 10x10 climate controlled unit to store my belongings for the last 12 years. Not only has the rent gone up between $30-$80 a month the last 12 years, when I went to the facility to retrieve something I found about 2/3 of my belongings covered in mold (pretty much everything that wasn't stored in plastic containers) The girl in the office that day (she was very nice, I will say that) took some photos and filed an incident report. The manager then called me the following Monday and basically informed me that CubeSmart is not responsible for damaged property, to contact the insurance. After a week of back and forth with the insurance company (Great American, which was the company CubeSmart suggested when we began our rental in 2012) they claim that the policy doesn't cover any type of water damage. So I am basically screwed out of 12 years of payments (I started at $95 in 2012 and up until I termed my rental this week, I was paying $442 a month. Do the math, it's over 5k, and that's just for this year!) as well as the cost for all of my furniture and other ruined items I had to throw away. I could have just stored my belongings in my garage and ruined them for free. There is definitely a damp musty feeling in the building that claims to be "climate controlled" as well as mildew forming on the outer locks on multiple units near mine, as the pictures below show. I had brought this to the attention of an employee a few years back but she claimed the moisture was from the carpets being cleaned and the mold was "just dust". The carpets have since been removed, if it was because of a mold issue, we were never informed.
