From the very beginning, Ms. Adrienne, Principal Ms. Kerry, and the entire staff were incredibly patient, welcoming, and understanding. They knew how anxious we were about sending our little girl to school for the first time. Anytime we sent a message or had a question, they responded quickly and reassured us. Receiving daily pictures also helped us feel connected and gave us peace of mind throughout the day. It took our daughter several months to become comfortable, but her teachers never rushed her. They worked with her patiently, showed her kindness, and helped her adjust at her own pace. Then one day, everything changed....she began loving school! Now she asks to go every day and is excited to play with her friends. If you are a parent who is nervous or anxious about sending your little one to childcare, we highly recommend Chesterbrook Academy. The staff is accommodating, caring, welcoming, and always willing to answer questions. They truly made what could have been a very difficult transition into such a positive experience for our entire family. She had no clue where my child was, she even took me outside to two different age level play areas. Finally after looking on her phone at the cameras she lead me to my daughter. My daughter's belongings were shattered throughout the facility just as she had been all day. I will take the door of the classroom literally being let go of by Destiny which hit my back while I was holding my daughter as the final disrespect we will receive. If you're a family seeking genuine professionalism from staff and adequate child care keep moving past this facility. The use of an app "at this day care" is simply a way to keep parents informed of what they'd like you to believe. I'm not buying it, the lack of consistency throughout the app updates in only 5 days should be an embarrassment as a wake up call for this establishment. The shock of multiple care givers that have been in contact with our child which we never met prior was overwhelming to process. My husband and I both were offended and upset by the unapproved/unwanted tattoo placed on our one year old daughter's arm. This entire experience was a nightmare come true for us. Whatever cost, time or effort it takes we will continue to keep high expectations and standards for our child. This is the type of experience with individuals that even if you advocate for your child, you will only be met with passive aggressive responses due to pride, the best thing to do is to remove yourself from the situation and worn others. Don't ignore the signs of an unprofessional culture. Certainly don't allow the lack of accountability dictate your child's welfare. Unorganized, unprofessional, and unexceptionable.

My husband and I both noticed the kids bullying our daughter on the play ground. In one instance that our daughter was crying Connie sat her out of the game and not the boy that hit her in the face as he jerked the ball away from her. My daughter was even told by her teacher not to tell me when she was pushed down or treated meanly. That she could only tell a teacher. It took months for me to get my daughter to tell me why she "didn't want to go to tutor time" or "can I please go to a new tutor time?" The last thing is there is no structure in the after school program. Tammy said it was designed that way because of the age differences of the children. So, the children basically get into groups and entertain themselves which creates a great opportunity for bullying behavior. Im not sure all the teachers are like this but I wouldn't recommend you do the after school program with Connie.
