Notices are not sent to other classrooms when viruses are running around the school although many students have siblings/ relatives in other classrooms. They will still send your child (infant- preK) outside in poor weather conditions and will tell you that the state requires children to be outside everyday. In below freezing temps? Poor air quality? Light rain? Yes they will still force your child to go outside in those conditions regardless of how much YOU the parent has asked otherwise. Don't be fooled by the "five star" Google reviews. A large portion of those "5 star reviews" from the same time period were based off an email sent to "incentivize" staff members. Each "5 star review" would equal $100 to be divided among staff for a "Holiday Bonus". FYI if you're only creating an incentive boost your online rating, you know your facility is not what you present it to be. The owners are great and the staff is professional. We're headed to kindergarten now, but will never forget the time we spent with this sweet team! Beyond Daycare - A True Montessori Experience…read more Woods Montessori has been an amazing experience for our family. We're a one-kid household, so all of this is new to us with new routines, new expectations, new worries. The one thing we were sure about was that early education really matters, and Woods has delivered on that and then some. From school leadership to the teachers in the classroom, we've consistently felt our son is in great hands. A special shout-out to Mrs. Basma, the lead teacher in Classroom Five. She's been incredible. The growth we've seen in our son during his time with her says a lot about her as both a teacher and a person. The changes we see at home are where it really hits. Our son now pours his own milk, drinks from a glass, and loves doing "big kid" tasks. He's more independent and confident, and he's suddenly into things like trying to read, matching games, and even simple chores and watering the plants is a favorite. That feels very much like the Montessori influence coming through. As soon as he turned two, he started potty training, which is something we did not expect to go as smoothly as it has, and the school has been a huge part of that. On top of that, there are spirit weeks, events outside of school that help families and teachers connect, and playdates that have come out of the community there. None of that was on our original checklist when we were looking for daycare, but it's ended up being a big plus. Most importantly, Woods is more than just daycare. It feels like a real learning environment that actually follows Montessori, not just uses the name. If you're considering early childhood options, I'd strongly recommend taking a look at Woods Montessori. At this age, getting a good start matters, and they've given our son exactly that.

She is no longer attending because there have been several cases of hand, foot and mouth disease. The school notified parents but as a precaution we weren't comfortable sending her back. The lack of cleanliness and staff consistency in my opinion is why there were probably a few cases (I am not a doctor but I have spoken to friends and family in childcare). The…read morecustomer service is trash; they seem completely unaware that we are paying customers and act as though they're doing us a favor. They've asked for grace through the opening process. The cameras in the classrooms not working appropriately, the safety mechanism on the door not working properly, the opening of the business being pushed back. With that being said, grace is not returned. We tried to drop our 2 month old off today 19 minutes past the "cut off time"- which is 9:30am and she was turned away. First of all, having a cut off time at a daycare that's open from 6-6 is ridiculous, my schedule is flexible and sometimes i don't start until later in the day and prefer for her to be with me instead of at daycare. With that said- we realize that is the rule and should have read their terms closer and paid attention- unfortunately we did not- but when you're open for a few weeks and constantly asking for understanding, you'd think you'd be able to reciprocate. Also, she's 2 months old and our first child. What if there's traffic? What if she throws up on us on the way out the door and we have to change her? We cant drop off our child without a DOCTORS NOTE after 9:30 in the morning? Is that a joke? We have to take a day off work because we were 20 minutes "late" to a place we pay to care for our child from 6-6? The director is a cold, unaccommodating, unhelpful piece of the the business. While trying to use their entrance software, which does not work properly, she sits through the door watching us struggle instead of offering help. Once we finally get into the building and explain the issue we're having, she looks at us like we're speaking a foreign language, despite two seconds later being told by another employee that the system had been doing exactly what we were describing all day. She's standing there when we walk in 19 minutes past their cutoff time and instead of offering any understanding about how hard it is to be new parents during this adjustment period, she just turns and walks away without a word. We've picked up our daughter multiple times with crusty vomit in her hair, having eaten 8oz in an 8 hour period, with poop up her back and past her belly button. Watching on the cameras as she's placed in her crib for a vast majority of the day- that is when the cameras are even working. For a company that's just starting out, trying to establish their place in the community with something as important as our children, you'd think it would be all KIND hands on deck- ESPECIALLY in the beginning. Instead we get attitude. In my opinion, they act as though there's no other place in town that takes children and that we're lucky to be there and not as though we are the consumers who are paying their salaries and keeping the lights on. If the behavior continues, good luck filling your rooms.

We have experienced very little turnover (in 3+ years, 2 teachers have left....that's nothing!) I didn't think we would enjoy a "national chain center" experience, but I was wrong. He's no longer in Mrs. Shanna's class, but still anytime we do something fun with him, he wants to take a picture to show Mrs. Shanna or can't wait to go to class tomorrow so he can see Mrs. Shanna to tell her about something we did the night before. We have had several people promise us that the accounting team is "working hard to process all refunds" & have yet to get anything more than empty promises & the runaround. We have resorted to hiring an attorney to sue them for breach of contract since they have far exceeded the time stated for processing our refund. If you care about your money, take your child somewhere else.
