Prices are average. My husband and I occasionally visit this store to do our weekly grocery shopping. In the past, I liked the quality of the seafood, vegetables, fruits, and risotto. Most recently, we purchased just a couple of things that we needed, pancake mix and maple syrup. We used the self-checkout and had no problems with the machines. This Fresh Thyme is not our most frequently visited or favorite grocery store, but I do like it and recommend it for occasional shopping.

The store is also sort of depressing in a way that it's hard to explain without being there yourself. That said, I only knocked off one star for that because the rest of the items they carry (dry goods, snacks, frozen, and a small selection of prepared foods) were well stocked, VERY reasonably priced, and the household items they have (it's understandably "hit and miss" with what they will have in stock at any given time) are crazy inexpensive and amazing deals. They had a huge flip top/step on Kitchen trash bin which you'd normally pay $70 to $120 for (based on my research and shopping around) for $19.99!!!! I'm sad to say I didn't grab one at the time but planned to go back the following day when I have more space in my car. Sadly they were completely sold out when I went back (it was my own fault!). We took a number to get in line for the deli meats. We chose a meatloaf, chicken salad, maple sausage links, and chicken patties. The total price was $30. The cashier promptly and politely rang up our purchase. We ate the foods at home. We thought that the foods tasted very good. Catering is also available.

My favorite thing about Dave's is their willingness to cut a smaller portion for roasts and also if there is not a cut on display they offer to get what you request. The freezer wrapping is just the finishing touch on the reason Dave's shines when compared to other stores in the area. I wasn't shopping for anything in particular but I wanted to see the new location. I picked up a basket and kept adding items. How could I pass up a nice size head of cauliflower? Or nice big radishes? Oh look I needed celery. As a cooking novice, I went with the "regular" mushrooms but I saw other types that I may need to come back for. The refrigerators had local dairy products, meat, and pierogies. I had to get the spinach and ricotta pierogies (made in McKees Rocks). I can't say no to a snickerdoodle cookie and there were pumpkin snickerdoodles too. Lots of homemade breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. It is the attention to detail that stood out to me. The radishes were in a resealable (ziploc like) bag. The mushrooms were in a clam shell container. I didn't have to find storage containers which I appreciate. The staff were very friendly and well versed in the products. Ample parking. If you miss the GPS turn, make the next right and come in through the back of the parking lot. Very glad to see the Market has expanded in its new location.

They have farm animals, a vintage store, hayrides, pumpkin patch, little market, and then a coffee truck, Mars Farmhouse Cafe pop-up, and a brewery pop-up. They also had a corn maze & corn pit for the kids. It was very nicely set up and will be definitely be going next year!
