We didn't have much time to check into stores, since it's spring season a lot of flowers like tulips were presented as decorations. Overall pretty good but I was a bit disappointed - most notably with the quality of the produce. Most of it looked old and/or wilted and not at all appetizing. The store is also sort of depressing in a way that it's hard to explain without being there yourself. That said, I only knocked off one star for that because the rest of the items they carry (dry goods, snacks, frozen, and a small selection of prepared foods) were well stocked, VERY reasonably priced, and the household items they have (it's understandably "hit and miss" with what they will have in stock at any given time) are crazy inexpensive and amazing deals. They had a huge flip top/step on Kitchen trash bin which you'd normally pay $70 to $120 for (based on my research and shopping around) for $19.99!!!! I'm sad to say I didn't grab one at the time but planned to go back the following day when I have more space in my car. Sadly they were completely sold out when I went back (it was my own fault!). All that to say, as long as you know what to expect at Aldi and what kind of things you should shop for there, this is a great place to shop read more

Produce sold to customers today is no longer fresh. It is a day, two day max from rotting, containing mold, loss of crisp texture, etc. As groceries prices rise, no consumers should be forced to purchase waste, take one's time shopping then transporting returned rotted produce. It's a trying time for our Society, that since 2020, we are forced to accept such low standards on so many levels. Regarding a return of produce, we had the misfortune of dealing with an extremely disrespectful clerk. He would not give us his name and when we persisted, he told us, "Matthew." Our receipt reads his name as Isaac. His aggressive and impatient attitude is very unprofessional and unnecessary; therefore, explaining why he lied, directly to us about his name. I live in cranberry about a two minute drive from this Aldi and I will never go to it again I will go out of my way to go to another grocery store First of all, there is never staff at the register to ring you out. Sometimes I have an entire cart full of groceries and I have to either wait for someone to come and scan them or scan my entire cart all by myself I get two weeks worth of groceries Tonight was my last straw. I didn't have a quarter and I couldn't for the life of me. Find an employee to ask for a quarter so I can get a shopping cart. I saw some up at the register so I went to grab one and then miraculously an employee showed up out of nowhere to tell me that I couldn't use one of those carts. Impractically took it off of me by blocking me from moving. I was already so over this place I just left and went to the Aldi in Wexford. I'm never coming here again. read more

There is NEVER an employee at the registers EVER. so infuriating especially when i have an entire load of groceries. I just went in to shop and I didn't have a quarter. I saw a whole bunch of carts up front. no employees anywhere but one magically appeared to tell me I couldn't have a cart from up there. Took it off of me so I couldn't even shop. The first time I heard of Aldi's was when I moved to western PA. We had trader joe's in Cali, but little did I know that TJs and Aldi's are owned by the same people. And if anyone knows about Bottom Dollar that closed last year, that was bought out by the same owners. I think both Aldi and TJs pay their associates well, which says a good deal about the company. Also, I like bringing my own bag and feeling a little eco-friendly. The coin cart may be baffling in the beginning, but I think it helps organize returning carts as customers are more likely to return their carts in the right place. Now there is something to be said about consumers and brand names. Maybe it's a brand loyalty or the actual quality. I am guilty of being a brand snob sometimes and there are certain items that I like to be of a certain brand, but don't let that stop you from trying out Aldi products. The Clancy brand chips/tortillas and happy farms cheeses are good. What I like here the best is the produce section. Bananas can be 39 cents a lb. I love purchasing my salad here as they have great quality and prewashed bags/trays of spinach and arugula for less than other groceries. The gnocchi is also a good buy. I do agree that there are certain things that aren't as good like there were chocolate pretzels that I bought that tasted stale. I think I really just love flipz, so I never strayed after that. It sucks when you go and most of the produce are gone and have been picked over, and you definitely have to check the fruits. I've seen some strawberries that were moldy on the bottom, but I have seen that at other groceries as well. Overall, I recommend at least trying it out. It might surprise you the way it surprised me. I am by no means being paid for this, but I know I was skeptical before too when I heard that things here are cheap. I think the term is inexpensive not necessarily cheap. The quality of the products I continue to purchase from here have won my trust and they aren't big label companies. Helps my pockets too. This evening I went in for some last minute items and found the store to be very well organized. I was greeted by a young man I believe his name was Nick. He was super helpful and just had a great smile which made me feel really good. I do not go to this ALDI all that often because I go to the other location, but honestly because of his genuine kindness to me I feel like going an extra few miles out of my way to that a store because of Nicks great customer service - it was better. He went out of his way to ask me about my day and took the time to listen when I answered him he really made me feel good, we had a great conversation and truly he was the first person all day who actually asked me how my day was going and it made my day end perfectly. I love this Aldi and the staff here. They are always super friendly. My only complaint is this location never carries the aldi brand sparkling water for some reason, but they do get Lacroix in ocasionally. The organic and fresh fruits and veggie section is really impressive since they expanded it. I especially love their aldi brand kale salad. Their raspberries have also been pretty impressive. It's crazy how far Aldi has come as far as the gourmet and organic foods since it first opened in the area. I love having this place minutes from me. read more

I don't understand all the haters. Aldi is actually a very good alternative store. You'll find things here you won't see at other grocery chains. That can be good or bad. When it's good it is very good. An example? They sometimes have the very same Nuremberg sausage links I used to wolf down in Bavaria with quite a few beers. They are imported from Germany (Aldi is a German company after all). I stock up when they do. You will not find them anywhere else. Nowhere. They have good, inexpensive dark chocolate. I've bought bags of limes (Moscow mules anyone?) for the price of 2 single limes elsewhere. You'll find some name brands you recognize but for the most part it is off brands on the shelves. If you experiment you might find some of these perfectly acceptable - I know I have. There are some misses though. Some of the look alike cereal is kind of nasty. Ok, don't buy that. But hey, this is not a one stop shop for everything store. Find what you like, get it here, save money. But I'm warning you now, if you're standing in my way in front of those sausages I'm gonna reach around you real quickly. They're mine!!! read more

I do love Aldi but quite honestly I prefer the Wexford location by far over the Cranberry one. If I'm at the Cranberry Mall & need something, I do shop here. They have the same things as the other Aldis that I really like: terrific dark chocolates, organic honey, deeply discounted real maple syrup , great prices on fruits & veggies, etc. This location had a long history of being other grocery stores in its past lives that always had a bit of a dingy overall look to them. In spite of a full Aldi-like remodel before they opened, that dinginess is still obvious. Wexford has a cleaner, brighter feel. Cranberry tends to be a busier store with long lines of people buying a lot and never enough cashiers on hand to prevent a lengthy wait. The cashiers are really effective with speed but it's never fun to round the bend to the checkout & see that much backlog with over filled carts in front of you. read more

Finally, a decent competitor to the GE thing that occupies the south end of the larger Cranberry Mall. Kuhn's was such an excellent place -- much smaller than the competition but had many more products that I was interested in. Aldi's is well, Aldi's with all the pluses and minuses. Parking: excellent. Access from roads: excellent. Pricing.... well, one's doesn't pay for the Privilege of having gas prices reduced elsewhere. You buy what you want without the notion of "rebates." Staff has been excellent at each visit. I am now torn between Aldi's and Shop'N'Save on Freedom Road. f8 and be there. read more

This may be the worst grocery store I've ever visited. The coin for a cart and whatever the bag situation is...are both laughable. Couldn't find anything in the store that even seemed interesting. I love Aldi's. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Their store brand soft drinks taste just a good to me as higher priced soft drinks you buy at grocery chains. You can get healthy alternatives in soups and canned goods by choosing the Light and Fit products.The only issue I have with this location is it is the only Aldi's I have ever been to that does not have it's own parking lot. It is in the middle of a very busy strip mall. You have cross across traffic with your cart to get to your car. I have been nearly clipped a few times by drivers who don't want to slow down. read more

Aldis Instacart is amazing - on time, service is great. Yesterday, however, we got a bag of rotten carrots with an expiration date of 2/20 (this is MAY). I suggest checking purchased items before leaving the parking area, even though it would be a nuisance. read more

Shop here if you want quality and quantity. I can meal plan for two weeks (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, beverages, and snacks), walk into Aldi (specifically this location), fill my cart to the brim with quality and specialty item groceries, and easily pay under $200. For example, my bill today was $150 and change for 2 weeks of groceries. Great place, great food with a ton of organic and gluten free options, and fantastic prices. read more

I'll echo what the other reviewers are saying- some good deals here, some "not so good" deals here. I have gone here multiple times to see eggs that were cracked and of poor color, moldy fruit, and melted ice cream. For the low prices, some of their boxed items can be iffy, but passable. read more

We are usually very pleased with our local Aldi's here in PA but it took me 3 visits to get the green grapes on sale. My other disappointment today was that I tried to call and the number on the Aldi's website is at headquarters with a message that states all local stores have unlisted numbers. The clerk said they have no one in the store to answer the phone since they work with limited staff and they are all busy doing other things. Thank goodness I did not make another "fruitless" visit today. read more

Aldi is gross. Low prices and low quality does not entice me. The selection is small and inventory is sporadic and disorganized. I hate to say it but I'll pay more and go to Giant Eagle for a better shopping experience. read more
