We came here to get my son's first haircut and we had a decent experience. We called the day before and they were able to squeeze us in between two appointments. Once we got there, they sat him in a seat and started buzzing right away. They are no nonsense here. My son was crying but she started buzzing and finished the haircut within 5 minutes. I was there to help calm him down and turn up cocomelon which helped him calm down after the initial shock of the haircut. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Just left the place to never come back. The lady called Silvia did a terrible job with my son. She cut his hair waaaaaay too short that I asked for. I showed her the photo from his last haircut (when only scissors was used) and she started to shave his hair. For one second I thought she would do only in the bottom but when I realized she had shaved more and there was nothing to do anymore. I got really upset and told her I was not happy AT ALL. She didn't care, didn't listen and wanted to keep shaving his hair. It was terrible already, so she was going to make it worse. If your child is traumatized by haircuts AVOID this place at all cost! I took my son here three times. The first time he did pretty good and let them cut his hair I think it was the owner and she was good with my son. Second time was a bit more rough but we managed, but the 3rd time forget it! Not only was this stylist Rania the worst but all she kept saying was, "this is why I did not have any kids". Like seriously? Why are you working at a children's specialize salon when you don't even like kids. I beat myself up every time I think about how I let her put my hands on my son when he refused to get cut by her. She's unprofessional and should be not be cutting kids hair. This happened a few months ago and I don't like leaving bad reviews on people who work hard for their money but I had too. I booked an appointment through their official website and they sent me a confirmation email. My son and I were there a few minutes early, but the door was closed and no one was there. We stood next to the closed door for around 30 minutes. Another group of clients with kids came and also left. I tried to call and email them, but they were unresponsive. I was shocked to be honest, this is very unprofessional and rude. It's also funny-- In their confirmation email they warn you about no-show fees. First I want to say how wonderful the staff is here! I wish I got the woman's name but not only was she so happy and friendly but she gave my son an amazing cut! My son is 1.5 and he hates getting his haircut. It is a miserable time all the way. However not only did he give this woman a tough time by physically trying to escape the car and running away as she was trying to put on gel but he still looks great! Usually I find a ton of uneven spots but his hair looks amazing! My son had a great time running around after! This place is wonderful. Don't hesitate to not go! We had our daughters second birthday party here and I must say that the whole team of Planet-Kidz did such an amazing job. I wanted a floral tea party theme which was new, they agreed to do it and the whole team did such a great job with the decorations and set up. Everyone appreciated the whole party , the kids and adults had so much fun. The girls, host and others were very very helpful and if you just need anything, they're there to help you out. They made sure to engage everyone with the activities. The host is very friendly and engaging with kids. Overall I am very very happy with their service including their salon for haircuts and it's totally worth the money. My daughter had her first haircut here (which was excellent) and fell in love with the LED dance floor. We booked her 4th birthday party here and to say it was incredible is an understatement! The space is perfect and the dance floor really does captivate the kids. They set up the area beautifully, laid out the food, they couldn't do enough for us. The energy they brought was what made it so special, they took care of everything and made sure the kids had the best time, with tons of games and a dance party to remember! Terrible experience - I called weeks in advance to setup two appts with Claudia for both my kids. First when we got there, they offered a chair that was dirty, hair all over it. Then Claudia cut my daughters hair super short, like a boy when I requested a bob. :(((. My second daughter was suppose have her haircut by Claudia also but they offered me someone else who ruined her hair as well. Cut it with no shape and super short as well. :(((. While I was waiting there, another customer had an appt whom they made wait almost a half an hour. They were double possibly tripled booked. This is a relatively new place. Beautifully done. Very spacious. Airy and very attractive for kids and moms. Clean. Probably v good for bday party. I booked an appointment for three girls. 9 7 4. Hair length shoulder or just below shoulder. It was treated as long and I was duly charged. What I didn't appreciate is not getting value. My kids didn't get a shampoo because they don't have an appropriate set up I was told. Their sink is not proper and kids will get wait as water will drain all over them. After the hair cut the lady used her finger to dry the kids hair- NO BRUSH. When I told her to curl out the hair I was told there is an EXTRA CHARGE!!!!!! J am clearly never coming back again. My son is two and has always been deathly afraid of haircuts. We usually take him to a children's hair salon in our neighborhood but he's become so fearful of the salon even when we are just walking by. Decided to book a last minute appointment at Planet Kidz with Didi, and not only does the haircut look adorable, it was his best experience yet! He was clearly still nervous, it was a haircut after all, but she was so gentle, thoughtful at establishing trust, and really took a deliberate effort at making him comfortable. This place is really cool. They have different seat for kids and they can enjoy cartoon while sitting in there. However, the cutting experience really depends on which hairdresser you get. The elder one can cheer up kids and she is really nice. The other younger one( darker hair) really have attitude problem. I went there couple of time, twice with her, same issue. First time, I thought maybe she had bad day. Second time, the same thing. She won't do anything if the kid is unhappy. She don't even want to look at the kid. She would just sitting aside and move her eye away and don't do anything for make child feel better. It clearly shows she just hate what is she doing. Wow, I am guessing she don't have a kid and plus she hate this job. And she won't avoid F words while taking on the phone. I mean, you are working at a kid place. Fabulous place for a kid's birthday party! We had our 3ry old daughter's birthday here for 16 friends with a dinosaur theme and Planet Kidz did a fantastic job! We didn't have to worry about a thing. The LED light floor is a different experience and so much fun for the kids, you honestly only need a good playlist and let the kids dance and jump around! The decorations were gorgeous, food catered by Loradella's and great hosting by Planet Kidz. We put together a photo slideshow and it was so much fun. It's a descent place and the haircut was ok too however, I didn't like the lack of patience and care for children. When you are running a kids salon, you need to truly love kids and be patient as kids can take time. I took my 3 years old here and he loves cars and got excited to sit on the chair, during the haircut, the stylist was rude to my boy with her instructions in her tone and things that she would tell him ( dont move orelse you'll like an old bald man!!!! and many more) and once done, she wouldn't allow me time to take my son out, she goes (again rude) i need you to go out now as i have other customers, there was literally nobody... Good for kid's haircut. Pretty smooth to reserve a time slot & easy on the pocket too. They have tons of fun things to keep the child busy. Got my 2 year old daughter's hair cut done here today. Clean, bright and spacious place. My daughter sat on a cool looking miniature US army air plane seat and she loved it. The stylists was very patient and gentle with my daughter. We were expecting my daughter to cry since it was only her second hair cut, but the stylist made her very comfortable and she did not cry.
