I watched a cook drop a piece of chicken on the floor, pick it up, and place it directly onto the chopping board next to the chicken he was about to prep. He looked up to see if anyone was watching; once he realized I saw him, he moved the floor chicken to the other side of the counter, but he never threw it away. He then tried to greet me as if nothing happened. I was so disgusted I just shook my head and walked out. I won't be returning. It was the cook with noticeably bad teeth.

The staff here is super nice, and the inside is clean and inviting. BUT--let's talk about the parking situation. It's rough. This location is constantly busy due to it being in a strip mall, and to make it even trickier, it's on a one-way street. If you're coming from Ford Road onto Greenfield, making a turnaround is a nightmare. You either have to do a risky U-turn or turn onto a side street after passing the building completely. Honestly, I do think the juice is worth the hassle but...I recently discovered another Vara Juice location that's way easier to access, and I might just drive the extra few minutes for the convenience. Still, this one will always have a special place in my heart since it's where I fell in love with Vara juice.

I didn't try the protein shakes, but I did order a tea called the "Captain America." The tea itself tasted good, but honestly, I thought it was a bit overpriced, I think it was around $10 or $11 for the smaller size. I wasn't really sure what I was paying for, was there protein in it, or was it mainly for energy, or just hydration? It wasn't very clear. Overall, it was a decent drink, just not something I'd get often at that price point. The worker was extremely nice though!
