I also like that this one doesn't feel as packed as other locations as well as there's a lot more room for weights/strength training. There are some things that could be better. The cleaning stations are a lot more spread out here and I've found more than a few times I've had to run around to 2-3 of them to get paper towels because they would be empty despite there being 2-3 staff on duty. Overall it's a decent PF location.

I like the sitting up hydromassagers as I haven't seen these at all the locations. Spa still doesn't feel very relaxing due to decor but that's just Pf's choice to look very industrial. Although, the dimmed lights definitely help over the bright bulbs in the old style spa. Ample parking

Unfortunately my hopes of finding a reliable gym here were crushed. I've recently moved and wanted…read moreto find a decent local gym. I tried to call and get in touch with someone there to find a time to set up a meeting with a personal trainer. I was very excited and ready to start my powerlifting journey, and after seeing these positive reviews I thought this would be the place to do so. I called. Someone answered the phone, I didn't get his name, but he was chewing loudly in my ear the whole duration of the conversation. I asked for one of the owners/managing trainers and he said that no one was available. When I said I could call back later he told me "You don't need to." I hate to leave a bad review, especially considering it's my first review ever, but I'm quite fed up with not being taken seriously by gym owners, staff, and trainers. This was an incredibly disappointing experience.

I have had my eye on this place for a while as I travel pretty often to the Minneapolis area and have been looking for a gym just like this. Minneapolis has so many Anytime Fitness and Planet Fitness, which are not bad establishments, just not a place that fits my workout personality (i.e. "lunk alarms", no real heavy lifting and dumbbells that stop at 50#). Southside definitely provides the atmosphere to focus on your strength and lifting goals. Loved the gritty atmosphere of "go in and get it done, no excuses". The main gym is awesome and has a ton of speciality bars, racks, DBs that go up to 150 and platforms specifically for oly lifting only plus other platforms for powerlifting. I came in around 3-4:30 and was one of the only there...so no issue whatsoever of having the run of the place. Honestly I wish that there was a place like this in Omaha. Will back for sure next time here.

The gym is bigger than the Northeast location but smaller than Burnsville, probably about the same size as Brooklyn Park. The cardio section was just okay, I'd give it around a 2/5. Free weights I'd put at 3.5/5, solid but nothing special. The machines were the strongest part of the gym, closer to a 4.5/5 since there was a lot of selection and variety. The gym itself was decently clean, but the locker rooms could have been better and had a bit of a smell. It wasn't very busy when I went, and the crowd was mixed which I liked. The noise level was manageable too, not as loud as Brooklyn Center. They had a posing room and some boxing bags, but not much else for extras. I'd give this location a 4/5. It's a good gym if you're in the area, though not my favorite Los Campeones spot.
