I'll be honest, I've been to many exercise facilities, mostly the higher end clubs like Lifetime and Healthzone, places with oak cabinet lockers, they provide towels, cleaners, locks, water, and many other amenities that I look for. However, with those locations you also pay a premium. Planet Fitness is by far a premium facility. These locations are meant for getting in and getting out. You have to bring your own towels. They don't have staff that go around cleaning equipment like the premium locations, you have to put in that work as well, and that's done with a cleaning station that has a cleaner in a squirt bottle and paper towels. This location does have tanning and a message area. The tanning I believe they had 2 rooms. The message I think was one, not sure what all that entails, we haven't used it. These don't have pools, but they say they have a gender specific hot tubs in the locker rooms, I didn't look to verify. Wife went into her locker room area and said it was nice. I'll be curious to see. This is a place were you get what you pay for. If you want a budget gym for $10 a month, than this is the place were you get $10 a month worth of equipment and the work required to keep it decent falls on the user. read more

Most amenities are decent, but much of the equipment is long overdue for an adjustment. It's either rattling and loose or the grips aren't symmetrical forcing you into an unnatural grip. My biggest complaint is with the manager who regularly parks directly in front of the building in the fire lane regardless of how full the parking lot is. A manager who's too lazy to walk the handful of paces from the parking lot probably shouldn't be running a fitness center. The local fire marshal would likely have something to say about that. I've complained to staff directly and via electronic feedback about both issues without success; hopefully most other branches are better managed. read more

We don't get the same amount of time to use our membership as your other locations, seem like we should get a discounted rate at this location in cleburne where you guys are the only location that isnt 24hrs. I have belonged to quite a few gyms through the years and Planet Fitness is one of the better ones I have been to. The place is always clean and staff has always been friendly and helpful from the start. Good variety of channels on the big screens. Plenty of workout equipment. I go during off peak times so never have to wait on any exercise machine or massage chairs. Work out time is to decompress and relax. read more

Just wishing for some extended hours. I signed up for the 24 hour options but they haven't updated hours since they initially did after covid. Love the protocols and safety measures they have in place and can understand taking additional time to do some cleaning and extra sanitization and not being available for the full 24 hours, but closing at 10pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends makes me feel like I'm over paying for something when I originally enrolled thinking I had 24 hour access. If there's not a discount to the fees each month for the reduced hours, why stay for something I'm not receiving? It looks like the clubs surrounding the area outside of my town have resumed to full access and 24 hr availability but there's been no changes here. read more

This Planet Fitness looked small from the outside but once you walk in, everything looked nice and clean. It didn't smell like your ordinary gym; which was a bonus. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful! The ladies locker room was well kept! Loved it! All of the members were nice and kept to themselves. The only thing bad I could say; there were dust on most of the strength machines (which is normal for most gyms). Loved how super clean the Black Card Spa area was. The staff cleans the tanning beds before/after each use! Will be back from more workouts! read more

This is an edit of my review. The policies at this PF are different than any of the 6 other PF I have went to. First off at every other PF you get 2 coins for the massage chairs not 1. At every other PF a visitor with a black card member gets access to the massage chairs and hydromassage and not to the tanning. This location strictly forbids visitor accees to the black card area outright. So in all this place is cheap but undercuts the value you get at other locations. Yes I know each is independently owned, but the all have pizza on the same day and bagels on the same day as well. I usually go early in the morning because after work this place is nuts. Its a large place but the other gyms in town are a complete rip off and way over priced. They took a lot of the other gyms members. Especially the treadmills and elliptical s. I like the place but it is so hard on the massage chairs and tanning booths, they get a constant use. read more
