Found this shop through Yelp @ 1:00 am. And I was surprised to get a reply to my quote in about 10mints. Honestly I was not expecting an answer until later that morning, but man did that quick reply make me happy. All my Q&A were done with Juan V. There were no changes to the estimate he gave me, and I didn't try to bargain. So the price that was discussed stayed the same. Made all arrangements through Yelp messenger and later provided my phone number, so Victor could call me before and upon arrival. Let's give you guys so bullet points to narrow down my experience. *Service: 5/5 Victor was polite, nice and did not waste anytime. There was a little set back with the glass, and that delayed the set time of appointment, but he apologized (not that I was demanding or expecting one) and explained why. So make sure to give them a ring 30 mints or so before appointment to verify the time. He took about 30-35 mints to remove and install the new windshield. *Glass quality: I know nothing of glass to be completely honest. It looks like the old one minus the cracks, so it's good enough for me. *Tips: *¡PAY CASH! *Make sure you're not parked next to a tree. Both front doors need to open fully (Sorry Victor). After installation: You can drive your car. Don't remove tape until next day. Can't wash your car for 48 hrs. Change your windshield wipers to avoid scratches on your new, shiny windshield. DO NOT DRIVE BEHIND SEMIS ON FREWAY!! read more

Planet Auto did an outstanding job of fixing my chipped windshield this morning. I used Yelp to take quotes and Planet Auto was the easiest and quickest to respond out of the 4 companies in my area. I was given an appointment time, the technician showed up looked over my windshield to make sure he could do it for the price quoted. He was fast, friendly and very efficient. He told me he would be done in about 20 minutes and he was. The Windshield looks so much better, plus the fact I don't have to worry about a minor chip turning in to a major crack. This review is for the windshield replacement. I had my windshield replaced by planet auto glass on Friday, March 29th 2019. I have a Mercedes Benz ML350.. before i chose this company to have my windshield replaced- i did extensive research because my car has the premium package on it. It comes with a ton of sensors on the glass.- if the windshield is not properly installed, the features i paid extra for, will not work. When scrolling through this company's photos, i saw another Mercedes Benz SUV like mine, and figured, ok, they've dealt with my type of luxury car before. Today is Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, and it rained this morning. My automatic rain sensors no longer work. The car comes equipped with lane departure warning as well. After the windshield was replaced, the lane departure sensor no longer works. Before the installer left my home- i asked him Specifically what if my sensors don't work after this replacement. His response was that i would have to get it looked at and recalibrated by Mercedes Benz. When i called MB, they quoted me hundreds of dollars to recalibrate my sensors. Why should i have to recalibrate the sensors if the installation was done correctly? NONE of my premium sensors work anymore, and I'm extremely disappointed. I paid an extra $10k for the premium features on this car.... for them not to function based on a windshield replacement is outrageous.. The windshield itself is brand new and PGW brand, but regardless- it messed up all the sensors on my luxury car. So now I'm going to have to pay equal, if not more, to get my sensors all recalibrated. I would not recommend this company for luxury cars- if you have a basic, regular car, go for it. But if you have a luxury car with windshield sensors- do NOT use this company or you will be out double your money with a recalibration too. read more

A small crack became a huge one when the weather changed so I asked Juan to come and replace my windshield. He quoted the best price and said he could come to my home the next day. I found out later that my car required a heated windshield and told Juan. He asked for my VIN and got exactly what my car had. It was an extra $20 for the heated window. He showed up the next day on time and got the work done really quickly. He also wiped down my dash and cleaned the window. Just two days later, a rock hit my windshield while traveling on the 57 freeway. I messaged Juan again through Yelp and he came out the next day and did something to the little star shaped crack so it would never get any bigger and only charged $45. He was super fast. You can stop searching for an auto glass repair after you read my comments. From the beginning Victor responded very quickly to my request for pricing. Planet Auto not only was the best price I got but also came to my residence to do the repair for no additional charge. The vehicle unfortunately was in a position where it needed to be moved for the repair and would not start. Victor helped me jump start the vehicle which took over 30 minutes in this May 90 degree heat. He didn't give up and I appreciate it so much.
