About 15 minutes later they came back and said they were out of the jamón y queso empanadas and only had tinga left. I said that was fine, but when it arrived it was cold, almost frozen. (It was hard to choose between these dumplings and the huitlacoche dumplings!) Then we had to try some of their tacos - served on their famous pink tortillas. We tried three of their tacos, but the pastor de setas (organic mushrooms al pastor, pineapple, and spring onions) was our hands down favorite. They're an alcohol-free restaurant, but I enjoyed my tepache (fermented pineapple drink with piloncillo), to which I added a hibiscus chamoy rim). They offer other fun N/A drinks: amaranth horchata, hibiscus water, and more. The service was great, and the restaurant was cool - open air, great on a warm day, bright, comfortable.
