A pot of Darjeeling and the crumbs of a scone
Phillip M.

A gorgeous and peaceful location with a tremendous selection of tea. On the afternoon I visited, outside of one persons ordering bulk tea to go, I was the only other person there and the only one sitting to have a pot. The other customer demanded so much attention it took a full 20 minutes for me to get my tea. This was also due to only one person working the counter. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my Darjeeling, which had a nice balance of malt and smoke. I also ate a nice chocolate chip scone. I'd go back in a heartbeat and hope that I wouldn't have to wait so long in the future.

Ah! What a lovely place. After a tiring day of walking the city, we stumbled upon this place. Great selection of tea, served hot or cold. Minimalist vibes with seating outside. Super friendly staff and very affordable.

Such a nice refreshing place! I came in since I was experiencing fever on my trip in CDMX and stopped by here to help alleviate some pain. This place is so well organized and stocked UP on teas! Teas that I didn't even know existed! I asked the nice gentleman some questions and found myself with the Spicy Chai Apple Tea (WOW)! It took about 4 minutes to receive and enjoy! They have WiFi and intimate seating! I would recommend to anytime studying, chilling, and to converse here! Nice spot, and would def stop by again!

Tomas has an amazing tea collection! I stopped in here on a warm afternoon and upon the recommendation of the staff member, got an iced herbal tisane and sat in the terrace section to watch the people of Condesa wander by. They had a huge collection of high quality teas and you can choose how your drink is prepared. Skip the Starbucks up the road and come here instead.

Chicken sandwich and coffee were a perfect afternoon study meal.

My favourite tea place in town. They have a LOT of options for teas. I am in love with their frappes.

excellent tea shop! In quality and service. their fig-containing black tea (I think it's called Tesoro De Alí Babá #590) is simply sublime.

The bubble tea place to go to in CDMX. Not only do they have a great variety of innovative drinks…read morebut they have special ingredients and types of teas you won't find at Gong Cha for example. Very cute and vibey depending on the location. I don't do sweet drinks so I usually pick a type of tea and add boba. Customization available.

Cassava Roots I went past many many times and never knew WHAT it was! I stepped in and took a…read moregander at the menu. I ordered an Original Chai Tea and a Cookies and Cream beverage and a Panini Pavo. While I waited I took in the pop-culturish inside, and I liked the openness of the restaurant, the turf grass carpet, the comfy sink in chairs and sofas. By the way, have you checked out their cool cup top sealer at the counter? MUST SEE! I realized this is a HUGE place for hookahs, literally, like three were given out in a 10 minute period. The drinks were yummy, more flavored than an icee, with berries (Tapioca) at the bottom, and I did like the crushed ice taste of them. The panini was very good, very light and much thinner and lighter than the normal panini you'd expect but whoa, ordering TWO drinks, you can be JUST FINE with one, ignorance is bliss. It did feel good to just relax, the staff was super great and courteous, quick, fast, and the overall inside very clear, laid back, with Bob Marley playing in the background, it seemed pretty environment-perfect. It was a little short of being absolutely, 100% inside and "I can't leave here because it is so comfortable!", a little bare and minimalist, but then, I think that is the idea behind the idea of how things are represented at this establishment, the moral behind the healthy drinks and ingredients. I get the feel of this being a perfect place I can see on the outskirts of a college campus, an amazing place to have a concert, and a cool place to just enjoy the weekend with amazing friends. I am not sure what would push it over the edge to a four or five, nothing hit me specifically as ugh, that was bad, or that was AMAZING! - but it was a place to relax, breath and reflect and just enjoy. That is a plus in itself. (Plus they always leave water bowls out for my dogs !) Try it, it is off the beaten path, but worth the visit, the staff will welcome you like royalty, and you can sit back and relax :)
