Really cute and quaint tea shop. We got a iced matcha here on a hot day and it was a nice vibe to people watch. The only dock for 1 star was that it was a long wait but otherwise a really nice spot to relax and have some tea! read more

The interior was brightly lit with a large beautiful bar, and had the vibe of a French cafe. We were brought out some complimentary (pita-like) bread, which was nice, but would have been better with something like olive oil to dip it in. My friend and I ordered 3 items to share - the Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms, Eggplant Parmesan, and Barbacoa. Portions were on the smaller side, but this was the perfect food quantity for us. The Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms were fine but a little bland. I liked the Eggplant Parmesan and Barbacoa, but neither really blew my mind. For everything I'd heard about Lardo, I felt like our experience was good but not amazing. Would check it out for breakfast to compare!

The pastries and service were delicious. While they do not have indoor seating, it was very pleasant to sit outside on the sidewalk and people-watch. We tried three different pastries: a plantain pudding pastry, a fruity meringue pastry, and a very unique peanut butter and chapulines cruffin. All were excellent. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the payment process. We had to pay for the pastries separately from the coffee, which made the experience less smooth. It would be much more convenient if everything could be paid for on a single check. Overall, it was a wonderful spot!

The service was attentive and friendly--occasionally a little slow, but that's part of the relaxed rhythm of being in Mexico. The outdoor seating is charming, surrounded by greenery and decorated with natural plants, which creates such a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. I especially enjoyed the Betty juice made with beets--it was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. The pastry selection feels endless, unlike anything I've experienced elsewhere in Mexico. During our visit, they were offering pan de muerto for Día de los Muertos, with a creative twist: a rich chocolate filling. It was outstanding! Overall, my friends and I had a wonderful experience here--delicious food, a beautiful setting, and a bakery that truly makes you want to come back again and again.

So funny. But once we walked over, we saw that it was a very lovely, traditional restaurant with very friendly servers. We were able to stand with the employees during our earthquake evacuation into the street. I especially loved my omelets with the creamed flor de calabaza that came with chilaquiles. I will say that the employees are super polite..and can't imagine them running after a customer because they did not tip enough. With that said, the man did go ahead to add 15% to my card as I was signing out, and I said it was fine because I was going to leave that much or more anyway, but they should not have assumed. Jut saay no to the fruit and drinks and pastry tray if you do not wish to purchase them no problem. A delightful spot to just sit and watch people & dogs go back and forth all day long.
