Never once did I ever drive away not feeling most fortunate that the roads in my life have led me to the corner of Old Country Road and Manetto Hill Road in Plainview. They are the real deal and a repair experience second to none. If they say you need something, you need something. If they say you don't, you don't. We may not always be thrilled to hear that a part needs to be replaced or something is going to cost such and such, but I truly believe in their knowledge, their honestly and how seriously they take their responsibility and desire to ensure their customers safety and well being. It's an old cliche, but they really do treat their customers like family. A most recent experience once again confirmed to me that Brian and Jason are truly one of a kind. Through a death in the family, I inherited a vehicle that had some life left to it, but needed some immediate work done. Because it didn't cost me anything, I was very willing to spend whatever the repair would cost. Both Brian and Jason talked me out of it, as they knew it was just the beginning of more costly repairs that would end up costing more than the value of the car. I was recommend to come here from a good friend of ours (Mike) He told me to ask for Jason and that he was the man with the plan! So I needed an inspection. I called up and they asked me to make an appointment. They are a very busy shop so I have no problem getting in line. I see some other people on YELP don't understand the concept of waiting. It may take 15 min but when they have other jobs ahead of you cut them some slack. There is a reason they are always busy! Nevertheless, Inspection was taken care of and I get a set of new tires. They did not try to upsell me at all! I am glad I found these guys and will continue to use these guys for all our cars. My advice is, don't have a sense of entitlement! No one is better than anyone. I recently went to Plainview Auto Care on having them install the cross bars on my roof rack. The person at the desk later introduced himself as one of the owners. Within minutes being there he started to install the cross bars. When it was all dne I asked how much and he came back and stated 'No charge".
