That first call to this incredible team of caring professionals told us we had found the right group to take the garage down. Their management gave us a great price while making sure that the job could be done quickly and efficiently! One of the cool observations is how much the demolition team seemed to enjoy working with each other. They arrived on time and got to work right away. They took great care with my neighbor's property especially their fence which sat feet away from the garage wall. That garage clearly was built really well with solid wood because at first it just wouldn't come down but slowly but surely we watched the memories pile up. The team returned the next day to clean up every piece of the garage leaving a totally clean empty space that looked so small comparted to the memories of the garage that once stood there. We are so thankful that we teamed up with Junk Escape and Demolition!!

Well I got incredibly lucky when I found Jamal the young business owner of Quick Help Junk Removal. I left a message with what I needed done and a request for a quote and received a response immediately!! I was told about different size trucks they have and based on the size of my garage I was quoted a reasonable price for them to remove and haul away everything in the garage. They were actually available to come later that very day to take care of it for me!! They arrived very promptly and were so polite and helpful. As the truck got full Jamal had different suggestions for options of what would be best to put on the truck and what might be best for another time if I needed. They took everything I asked from loose wood around the walls to old tables that other family members thought we had to save!! And they even swept the floor!! Had I known how easy it would be to hire them I would have done it ages ago. I absolutely plan to hire them again for anything that I need cleaned and removed. In fact they said if I wanted the actual garage taken down and removed they could do that too!! Highly recommend these young men!!

When they left, I did some research and discovered that their core business is cleaning. I reached out to them and expressed my concerns. This is a business with no online presence other than Yelp and there was no way that I was going to give them thousands of dollars up front. It was a friendly correspondence and I stated that - despite their lack of online presence and experience outside of cleaning, I would still like to work something out with them. I asked for references and pictures of rooms were provided. I asked if I could contact the client - I never heard from them again. Be careful out there.

It cost that to just remove the ceiling and I had to paint the room myself in the end after they worked in my house for 3 days. One of their employees went through our basement looking in all our cabinets. His footprints were all over the basement and cabinet doors were left open. Thank God we locked up some of the basement rooms. He must have been on drugs because his painting as messy. He got paint on my screen door and parts of our screen door that should never have been painted. He used a roller to try to prime all the molding which was questionable. He was fired a day or 2 into the project because he was stealing from the owners. So, be cautious, as I am not sure of their vetting process for their employees. Communications with the other painters led to problems as they could not understand English well, which was challenging. They did not prep well before taking down the ceiling so I had a lot of extra work getting dust out of the house afterwards. However, their work on plastering the ceiling was done very well. The owner was out of town and this communication with the painters was not overly timely...it ended up being like a bad game of telephone. I also would not agree to an hourly rate for services rendered as I feel that we were taken advantage of with the price. I knew it was going to cost me closet to 5K for the project if we continued, so I had to halt it and paint the room myself even though I had very limited time. I would NEVER use their services again.
