Rosedale Pet Resort

Rosedale Pet Resort

We left our precious mini bernedoodle w/ Mel for 10 days here and it was the best choice! Mel sent…read moreus updates everyday w/ pictures of Lulu. The place is well maintained and all the animals play & roam around freely! Her facility is so different than all the boarders I visited- the animals had their own beds with blankets. It was warm & clean with playgrounds. Not crowded! My Lulu actually got so much exercise playing & socializing with other dogs. And it was all inclusive! I definitely recommend Mel & Rosedale Resort! She's extremely organized & communicates with her clients! Thank you!

My dog had the best time at Rosedale Pet Resort! Mel offered to take him in no questions asked, and make sure he didn't get into (too much) trouble. The resort itself is great, so much room to run around and rest (but mostly run around). Mel put as much love and care into creating the resort that she does into taking care of her pups! She kept in touch with us regularly, sharing pictures, and giving updates. We could tell he was having such a great time! Rates are also super reasonable for the VIP service our pup gets, with a discount for longer stays. We live in Kirkland and while it was a trek down to Rosedale, it was so worth it for our lil dude to have the time of his life! (and he slept for a full week after we picked him up lol) Thanks so much to Mel and team for the paw-some time ar camp!

Sidekick Dog Training - Puppy class fun!

When I first adopted Sophie, my white shepherd, she hadn't been socialized. Although she was…read moretreated well by her rescue foster, she was never exposed to the outside world. As a result, she exhibited the beginnings of fear aggression, which I understand is common in German Shepherds. My vet recommended immediate puppy school and I chose Amanda because of her reputation for being upbeat and training in a positive manner. Whelp (snicker), turns out I picked the right trainer. Amanda knew how to help Sophie develop confidence and she also watched her carefully for signs of fatigue and stress during class. Sophie thrived under Amanda's training. I swear Sophie would say (in doggie language), "Pick me! Pick me!" whenever Amanda needed a volunteer pup to show the class a new trick. She LOVED puppy school. She LOVES Amanda. Amanda uses clicker training and other methods of positive reinforcement so you can toss out that awful pinch collar and teach with gentleness and humor. No more feeling guilty about using those harsh training methods that were the norm for so many years. And you'll have fun. And your pup will have fun. And you'll enjoy a whole new relationship with your best friend. I can't recommend Amanda highly enough. She's great.

The location was great- less than five minutes off the highway and beautifully located. The building we were training in wasn't heated so that was a bummer on colder days. The space was large enough to accommodate the number of dogs in class. She offered classes that grew with your puppy which was also nice. The classes were moderately priced and affordable for what is available in the area.

We have used this place for years for our fur baby. Don't know if the staff has changed or what but…read morethe service has gone downhill. Even after filling out forms in their office at drop off, they still messed up our boarding. This place has been trusted with our baby, but now not feeling it. If they can't do simple things as agreed, what is happening behind closed doors out of our sight.

I've done daycare and boarding here with them and my dog was happy and healthy both times! The…read morereason I can't give 5 stars and why I probably won't be returning are just inconveniences on my end: Their meet and greet will expire in 6 months if you do not use their services for that long, and you must repay the fee of $30. The $30 does not get you a free day of daycare like many other facilities. So if you board infrequently (like me) you have to repeat the process everytime. I also think some wording on the website needs to be changed. On the FAQ for boarding, it reads to bring food in a "a re-sealable bag as kibble oxidizes quickly which results in substantial nutrient loss." Most places want the food in something re-seable for the reason stated in the quote, however this isn't the reason I was told at drop off; their reason is due to convenience for the caretakers. What they mean to say is food MUST be *pre-measured* *per meal* and *individually* bagged in ziploc bags otherwise there's a fee. This was not told to me until I dropped off my dog with her sealed food container and measured food cup. They then said it would be a $15 bagging fee. I did receive a text before my dog boarded that I can go over the email about boarding reminders however I never got any emails, my confirmations were done through text with an email receipt sent at the end of her stay. No big deal, I didn't think much of it because I got confirmation/reminder texts of her stay and I had read the website/FAQs multiple times to make sure I did not miss anything. I don't even own ziploc bags because I think it's wasteful and I don't like surprise fees because this information should've been readily available on the website (even if that information was in that missing email). I was about to run down the street and grab a $1 box because my dog was only staying 3 nights, but a different worker than the one checking me in overheard and helped me out, so that was appreciated!

Curlette's Critter Care - "Your Pet's Are My Concern"

Curlette's Critter Care

I used Nancy Curlette to petsit my 2 kitties for about 7 years when I lived in University Place…read more She is wonderful! Both kitties required medications and copius amounts of love and attention, daily brushings were mandatory (per the kitties). Nancy was always extremely diligent, trustworthy, reliable and caring. She would give me advice on caring for them and whether she noticed any changes in their habits that might indicate potential problems - very much appreciated. Plus, she kept an eye on my house and made sure my plants were watered & mail picked up. I always returned to a house that was in order and well-fed kitties. I would recommend Nancy to anyone looking for a petsitter - she's the best there is!

We are licensed and insured, specializing in Dog Walking and In Home Pet Care. There are numerous references that can attest to the company slogan, "Your Pet's Are My Concern." Dog Walking is only part of the service we provide. Pet Sitting while you are away, no matter how long that may be, is also a service. Don't think we're limited to dogs...cats are welcome to experience our care too. We want you and your pet's to enjoy your time away from each other. That way all of you are happier when you're re-united:) Pet's that need medication can be cared for also. Geriatric pet's are appreciated and treated with the respect they deserve. It's important to understand their needs after a lifetime of faithfulness. After being with three of my dogs when they departed, I truly understand the loss of a pet. But I know they go to heaven, just ask Dean Braxton:)
