We brought 8-month-old Noodles home in November of 2023 and immediately noticed that he wasn't eating, wasn't pooping, and was scratching at his left ear. Many many vet visits later we have learned that his colon was so badly impacted that he will have permanent trouble pooping, and that the infection in his left ear had been neglected for so long that it had spread to the bones of his skull. His first major surgery is next week. Please, if you choose to use this breeder - demand a clean bill of health before signing anything. Otherwise you could be looking at five figures' worth of vet bills like we are.

We put money down on a litter to pick a female puppy that was born in January 2021. We had first pick of our female puppy out of the two females from the litter. We went to pick her up when she was ready to big enough to leave, the other female puppy had already been picked up. A couple of months later, we discovered by looking at pictures, they had given us the wrong puppy, the puppy we did not pick and did not want because she was too hyper. How does that happen when there are only two females in the litter. We did not say anything for a while, because we knew that we had to keep this puppy now, because the other one was gone. When I finally sent a letter to Cassandra, the owner letting her know how upset we were, I never heard a word, nothing acknowledging the mistake or an apology even. We just took our dog, who was now 4 in January to the vet, and she has to see a specialist because the vet thinks she has retinol neuropathy. When you pay a breeder that much for the dog, they should make sure you get the dog you picked and do sufficient testing to rule out potentially serious genetic defects. I will never buy another dog from Circle B and I certainly will never recommend them to anyone I know. Horrible!

After the puppies were born I was offered a black puppy at what I assumed was the agreed upon price that the breeder had told me prior to the puppies being born. But being that the puppy was all black and that is very rare the breeder wanted me to pay double the original agreed upon price. Now I understand that the breeder is running a business but before they even offered me that puppy shouldn't they have disclosed that it was going to be double the original price? I have all ready told me daughter that we were getting a puppy and now we are not. How does anyone else feel about this? I'd especially like to hear from other breeders if this is common.
