I had the tripleta sandwich. Pastrami, chicken, and Italian sausage with onions and peppers in a roll. The sandwich was huge. I also got a beef empanada. The largest one of I've seen in years. You really get your money's worth from them. I love a good food truck, such a pleasant atmosphere to sit outside and eat outside. Definitely support these guys. Quick and courteous. They're trying to bring an amazing cuisine to the region. Try Puerto Rican food and you will find a new favorite. Fried plantains are a true guilty pleasure. I discovered this mobile hot dog cart business on Facebook a month or so ago. I love a good hot…read moredog and I love a local business, so I knew I had to chase them down and try one for myself. The menu is simple but highly creative. You can build your own hot dog with a variety of toppings (classics, like ketchup or mustard, are free; premium, like peppers and onions or pineapple relish, are .75 cents) or you can order one of the chef's specialty dogs. By default, the dogs are enormous, savory, and all beef, but you can change to a sausage dog for an upcharge if that's more your flavor. Specialty dogs run between $7-$8, depending on the number and type of toppings. Each one is named after an iconic or well traveled road in Huntsville, which is a great tie-in to their name and theme. You can buy chips on the side, but we all found the dogs to be a more than ample lunchtime meal, and worth the price. My parents and I had the 431 (pineapple relish, bacon bits, peppers and onions), the South Parkway (a tricked out chili cheese), and the Monte Sano (brown mustard, kraut, pickle relish, bacon bits). Each one was delish, piled high with toppings, and made fresh to order. It's obvious the owner is thoughtful and particular about the toppings. The bacon bits were real, freshly chopped, crispy and fatty bacon -- not the kind you buy in a package at the store. Astoundingly, the buns held up to all the goodies piled on top. If you're too intimated to eat with your hands, forks and a multitude of napkins are at your disposal. The owner was there slinging dogs himself and we had a good time chatting with him. He and his wife run the operation by themselves, and it's nice to see and interact directly with the people who benefit from your business. He was very nice and did an excellent job preparing our food and telling us about his product. You can reliably find their weekly schedule posted on Facebook. They're often at Parkway Scrubs for lunch and also appear at local breweries and events for dinner, but don't take my word for it -- find their page and hunt down this cool little cart.

Service is very friendly and pleasant and they were open to making adjustments to their specialty drinks to suit my preferences - I asked for milk chocolate instead of white chocolate in my campfire s'more drink, for instance, which they accommodated. The coffee was pretty good! I think the flavorings could've been mixed in a little better but after I stirred it myself I was pretty happy. Price is pretty high for a drink that kind in the size cup I was given, but that's not too atypical of food trucks. -- you're paying for convenience, I suppose.
