Located at…read moreThe Grove in Wesley Chapel, this small taco spot offers a few indoor tables plus plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered the carne asada tacos with a Jarritos soda for around $18. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The tacos really hit the spot on a hot summer day. Customer service was friendly and polite This was my second visit, and I'll definitely be back for more.

I recently moved here from Southern California, so I've been browsing for a Mexican spot. I…read morestumbled upon Tacos El Patron and decided to give it a try. I went with one of my safe options when trying out a new Mexican restaurant which is a bean and cheese burrito, which I ordered, and got 3 street tacos with carne asada as well. Starting with the positives, the green salsa had great flavor, and the carne asada was decent, not the best I've had, but certainly not bad. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal fell short for me. The bean and cheese burrito was made with whole beans instead of refried beans, which caught me off guard since I've always associated a traditional bean and cheese burrito with refried beans. It wasn't necessarily wrong, just not what I was expecting. One of my tacos also had the meat clumped together, almost as if it had been reheated in a microwave, which affected the texture and overall experience. Overall, everyone's tastes are different, so it's still worth trying for yourself. But having grown up eating Mexican food in Southern California, this one just wasn't for me, and I don't see myself returning.

I really loved it, they tasted so yummy and freshly made. For dessert we had their churros which came with Nutella and vanilla ice cream and omg it was so yummy. The churros alone were very good and crunchy but combined with the chocolate and ice cream was heavenly. I can't wait to get those churros again I constantly crave them now!

I was reading off the ingredients on the phone since it was for my husband. I wasn't paying attention to the order. It was correct. He got a chicken bowl. He could barely find any chicken. He thinks he got about a tablespoons worth. This isn't our first time with the same problem at this location. Little to no meat in our food. This is the Moes close to Lexington Oaks. I really want to see them succeed but I don't think we will be going there anymore. It's unfortunate.

The menu still has some familiar favorites, and they are fantastic. We ordered chips and queso, four tacos, a burrito and a few sauces. I had the MC yum yum burrito with beans and rice inside and added green salsa and poblano ranch. Fire!! I'm already craving another one. A few things I wish for- the physical menu copies need a lot more description . I don't know off the top of my head what's in an Austinite so I have to take up time at the kiosk looking up each variation. Also, the seating inside is not welcoming like it used to be. Other than that, we can't wait to return!

I was disappointed when I saw that the Capital Tacos in Wesley Chapel closed its doors permanently…read more I was initially excited when I learned that the Land O'Lakes location was still open. When they're firing on all cylinders the food from Capital Tacos is so good. Unfortunately I've experienced problems multiple times from here. I called recently because I was frustrated that twice in a row I had ordered the ground beast nachos and my order was incorrect. The order clearly states "black beans & NO mexican rice" but I received no black beans. I wasn't trying to get anything for free and just wanted to let the kitchen know they were making orders incorrectly. The black beans are a main reason why I get this dish so it's incredibly frustrating for this to keep happening. Everything seemed fine because the next two times I ordered it my order was correct. But once again the exact same thing happened to me: no black beans. The quality of the chips you get also varies wildly. Sometimes they're perfect and delicious but more than once I've received burnt chips that were awful. It's expensive to get delivery from here and I'm not going to do it any more but hopefully they can fix these issues for their other customers.

You can order right at the restaurant, or you can use the kiosk, which was great because we didn't have to wait in line. We started with chips and salsa, and they were a good start to dinner both tasted good For the other food items we had to wait for 15-20 minutes before we got our dinner order. The Birria tacos were delicious! We all really enjoyed them. The burrito was also good, and it had a great amount of food, enough for one person. The Taco Gobernador with Shrimp was also delicious, and the tacos at the restaurant were great for dinner. We all loved our dinner at Los Chapos Tacos. The staff is consistently quick, friendly, and on top of everything, which makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The menu is what you'd expect from a solid Mexican spot, familiar ingredients done well in a variety of ways. I always go with the #18 (1 burrito, 1 taco, rice, and beans), and it's the perfect portion. Every time, I leave completely stuffed. One of the highlights is when the mariachi band comes around. I once asked for "Rocky Top," and they absolutely nailed it, somehow blending that bluegrass vibe with a Latin twist. It was one of those moments that just makes the night more fun. The only downside, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the restrooms. They don't quite match the cleanliness and attention you see in the rest of the restaurant and could definitely use more consistent upkeep. Overall, it's a great go-to spot with fast service, good food, and a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely keep coming back.

I got the #30 combo lunch with a tamale, guacamole tostada and a taco (but upgraded to a carne asada street taco). Mostly everything lacked flavor - carne asada had some but would have been petter with lime and everything would have been better with some salsa (not the stuff with the chips). The tostada was unflavored refried beans, unflavored ground beef, iceberg...you get the point. The tamale had a red sauce on it (still no flavor) and a scoop of ground beef on it? Not sure why. Also odd...the other guests plates were only what they ordered. So you ordered a burrito? That's all you got. None of the rice and beans and "salad". But it wasn't listed on the menu either. Like I said, the skinny margarita was good though (better than the regular); place was very clean and staff were quick and nice.
