They took the Covid restrictions very seriously and because I had a US card it was a bit of a challenge to prove I was vaccinated but was done all very politely. The three of us had fabulous meals. It took a bit long to get our entrées but they were busy and it was a Friday night. We did get a bread basket but rather late so I'm not sure if that's a standard to get a bread basket or it was because our entrées were late. We met the owner and his wife both very friendly and delightful people. Our server was great. Apparently, you're not supposed to eat the crust and I missed that memo because when I wanted to take home my leftovers, they cut off the crust from the side I had already devoured. It was a pretty big pizza for me though. It also heated up fairly well the day after for dinner and I appreciated it. We were served limoncello for our after drink and it was amazing. Never going to find quality limoncello like that in the states and also didn't think I'd get pizza that great in Belgium, but I stood corrected. Next time we come back to visit family, we will absolutely come back and get pizza here. The staff is very friendly and amazing. There is a bit of a language barrier as not many of the staff speak English all that well, but the owner's son was able to help us and you can really just point and use Google Translate if you don't speak French.
