They truly have trapped magic in a bottle. The menu isn't large but they do also have a rotating seasonal menu that accompanies it. All the dishes on the main menu are Italian classics done right. Most dishes have pork or beef. The pasta tasted very fresh and the portions were what you would want of a good Italian restaurant, plentiful. My "white" ragú was packed full of flavor and the beef was tender. The pecorino cheese used was perfect. All in all, this is the type of place that is always busy and with good reason. Since they don't take reservations lines do form at the front of both sister locations on the same block. Make the line, it moves fairly quickly. And if it doesn't it is still well worth it.

Six of us trekked to this place on a rainy Saturday, and it was a real crazy journey getting there as it happened when both the metro and tram we were on had disruptions due to roadworks going on. But the warmth of service and the excellent food made the hour's journey so worth it. Also, it was a mini-Yelp event as Lauren A. was also included in our dinner party!! So between the six of us we got x 3 meter long half & half pizzas, drinks, desserts and coffee. Mum and I split a vegetarian and a "Mamma" pizza - I made this choice based on previous Yelper's recommendations to try the Friarelli (which for me tasted like wild mustard greens rather than the broccoli described in another review) and it was delicious, especially with the spicy salami. We also shared a 1 litre of the house red and got a bottle of water. Towards the end of the meal, folks got coffee and I split a Tiramisu 3-ways. So I gotta say, I am not really a Tiramisu kinda gal, but the Tiramisu here really blew me away and I would totally get it again. I loved the firmness of the sponge, the alcohol taste was just right, the cream tastes fresh and rich, and then the best part - it was beautiful presented with lovely earthy chocolate syrup, lavishly spread out over the plate - I licked that plate half clean! We could not finish our pizza, so got take-away boxes and then the 4 of us who were splitting a separate bill, got a great surprise as cost was under €25 per person, so absolute bargain! De timing was ideaal om ten volle te kunnen genieten van de uitzonderlijke kwaliteit van het bestelde voedsel. Wij vroegen ons namelijk af of ze de pizza in Namibie hadden besteld en ze van daaruit met het vliegtuig naar hier werd gevlogen via een speciale vlucht met SABENA. Men moet effectief heel hard moeten zoeken hebben voor de ingredienten die de weg hadden gevonden naar de pizza die we hadden besteld. Wij vonden het trouwens ook super dat Colruyt zo'n goede klanten heeft. Ook de timing is perfect en men moet ons in contact brengen met de mensen die de tijdmachine hebben geperfectioneerd want de pizza zou blijkbaar een uur vroeger geleverd zijn dan dat hij werkelijk is toegekomen, ook al was die levering reeds een goed kwartier later dan gepland. Verder moeten we toegeven dat we toch pizza hadden besteld (warm) en geen belegde ronde boterhammen met een grote laag vet, daar was de kaas trouwens naartoe gegaan. Ook naar de "kip" op een van de pizza's was het toch effe zoeken, blijkbaar had de chauffeur een hongertje gekregen of zo, gelukkig was er aan het deeg niet gepeuzeld. Onze buren zullen ook geweldig vinden dat we de lokale economie helpen want de chauffeur heeft blijkbaar bij al onze buren gaan aankloppen om te vragen waar wij woonden en of we wel degelijk de pizza's besteld hadden. Verder was er een uitzonderlijk service van Espace Pizza Nexus daar zij de eerste kaar ons op de neus hebben opgehangen wanneer we belden, een kwartier later gewoon melden dat ze al onderweg waren, zonder vragen te stellen bij het feit dat we na een uur nog steeds geen pizza hadden ontvangen en daarna gewoon genegeerd werden. Toen de chauffeur er ook uiteindelijk was werd er gemeld dat ze reeds meer dan een kwartier naar onze woning aan het zoeken was, blijkbaar hebben onze buren een even goede kennis van onze buurt als een GPS, wat raar is want we kennen ze nu toch al enkele jaren, ofwel is het IQ van de chauffeur van zo'n niveau dat ze "het is recht tegenover ons" niet begrepen zou hebben. teneinde raad heeft de chauffeur alsnog ons nummer gevonden in een gouden gids van 1912 of zo om dan toch maar te vragen of we haar niet konden komen helpen, waarbij we gewoon door de deur stapten, door de poortje stapten en gewoon voor de wagen zijn gaan staan terwijl de dame nog steeds heel dom aan het kijken was en niet kon geloven dat ik wel degelijk voor haar wagen stond. Ik raad u zeker eens aan de koude pizza van bij Espace Pizza Nexus te proberen, het is een belevenis uit de duizend en, zoals reizen met de NMBS, een avontuur op zich is en zeker een melding in de Gore&Hoezo waard! Wij hadden trouwens ook twee tiramisu besteld, maar daar ga ik u de details van bewaren want noch de hond, noch de kippen hebben deze willen consumeren.
