"As a little kid growing up in Beirut, Lebanon, I remembered my love for Italian food. Specifically, spaghetti and pizza. Oh how I would think about pizza all the time and wonder when I'll have it again. I still have no recollection of where I got this love from. Now as a Handsome Devil living in Boston, MA, I do not have those cravings as much as I use to. However, after fine tuning this robust body in the ways of the samurai, the cravings return."
Recently on a trip to Paris, we were at the Flea and antic markets in Saint-Ouen right outside the northern part of Paris and we decided to try this place. The decor of the restaurant is right out of a Pizzeria in Napoli (so I was told), cheap and has a neighborhood feel to it.
So we ordered and shared the following:
- spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and tomato... A+
- white pizza with arugula. A+
- eggplant pizza. A+
- Tiramisu. B
Everything was delicious except for the Tiramisu which was bland!
Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating, and we could hear the cooks in the kitchen speaking Egyptian Arabic, if I didn't understand it, I'd think they were fighting haha!!
Definitely THE place to go to when in Saint-Ouen. read more
