I also ordered a side of pesto and side of sauce and they gave me two pestos so wasn't thrilled with that. Their menu is large but honestly a bit redundant. Many of the pizzas are the same with one ingredient added or switched. They could easily streamline the menu by just doing a small menu of house pizzas and a build-your-own option. Pizza was bad. Just really bad. Sauce was way too sweet, crust was way too bready, toppings were limp and sad. I had to throw half away because I couldn't bear thinking about the leftovers. Would not recommend at all. Save your pizza cravings for when you're back in the states.

Very interesting place, wood carving's everywhere, gravel floor, plenty of indoor seating that felt a bit like outdoor. Waitress didn't speak English but got someone quickly who did. Both, very personable, and helpful. I'm a bit of a pizza aficionado (worked in the biz many years and still love it), and found the pizza here as good as most anywhere. Would recommend the adventure into Pizza Casa Jaguar.

It is one of my favorite restaurants in the hotel zone and some the best Italian I have eaten. We had a group of 10 and were seated in a private room. The service is top notch. Everyone is so helpful and kind. They have an extensive wine list that is sure to satisfy any craving. Before dinner, they bring bread with cheese and spicy onions and peppers that is delicious. My personal favorite meal is the green hats, but I really don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything they serve is the perfect balance of flavors. Everyone in our group loves their meal which is why this place continues to be a staple for us year after year. I look forward to coming back to Cancun just to eat at the restaurant. Our time and money is always well spent here and we have always had a wonderful time and incredible food. We do not do all inclusive, but even if you do, I would still recommend making a stop here.

Cenacolo moved recently to La Isla mall across from where we were staying. With its all glass walls, the space was elegant and inviting. The kitchen was all glass so you can see the chefs preparing the food. We didn't have reservations, but the hostess found us a great table. Our main server was Alejandro and he was more than helpful in making sure we ordered what we wanted. With Italian food, I also prefer very good Italian wine versus a cocktail. He pointed me to 2 red wines that were bold and heavy as I requested. Both were just OK, but expensive. Wines by the bottle was ridiculously high. Regardless, he was great in steering me to the type of dishes more suited to what I was asking for and not just the most expensive. This restaurant has been highly recommended by my brother and sister in law for years. They had told us it was one of the best Italian food they have had anywhere. But, In its previous location, it just looked a bit stuffy for a CANCÚN vacation meal. At its new location, though it was still upscale, it seemed more approachable to us somehow. We just came back from a 10 day vacation at the Amalfi coast, and Rome, Italy. We found the pastas at Cenacolo to be comparable if not better. We had bruschetta, Ragu spaghetti, lasagna, and their chocolate soufflé. We had read that the soufflé was outstanding so we ordered 2. We were NOT disappointed with any of the food items.
